Its a rarity in T-town, since stars established own productions to revive and sustain their careers, but flop actor Kalyan Ram has different plans and is spending lavishly on Ravi Teja’s Kick 2′, to revive the sagging fortunes of his banner NTR Arts, which lost more than 15 crores in 3D film “Om” and with director Surendar Reddy being his friend, he has relied on rival star Ravi Teja, to recreate the magic of Kick.

Interestingly, except for “Athanokkade”, nothing has worked in favour of kalyan ram and even his production house produced more duds like “Asaadyudu” and ”Vijayadasami” than hits.

But disaster like “Om” forced the actor-producer, to look for a saviour to regain the glory of the banner, which was named after legendary Telugu icon who had most hits, will Mass Maharaja pull it off?

After acting like a body double for Udaya Bhanu in the call-girl story Madhumathi, this slender lady got some recognition. Known as Junior Udaya Bhanu for her looks that resemble senior anchor, young Hyderabadi model Deeksha Panth is going guns.

Directed by Dolly, this Oh My God remake is being stuffed with a huge casting apart from Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh. Already Shriya, Saikumar and Madhu Shalini have joined the board, and some other bigwigs are likely to join soon.

Mega Star is expected to announce his much hyped 150th flick’s details on the eve of his birthday that is falling on August 22. Heap of rumors indicated that V V Vinayak is helming this prestigious project. But there is no clarity over these revelations, as another speculation is in rife that Chiru wants Krishna Vamsi to come aboard for the movie that marks the lion’s return to film jungle. Exhibiting innocence, close sources in Mega camp stated that Chiru will not be making any announcement about the film on 22nd. That’s something tough to digest for mega fans.

Curtailing these discussions, some sources however stated that Ram Charan has made big plans for his dad’s birthday and for the big announcement. ‘Cherry postponed Govindudu Andarivadele London schedule to 25th only to facilitate Megastar’s birthday event, and in a bid to share the sweet news with fans’, the source said. Pawan Kalyan, who never minces his words/acts, is at again. It is reliably learnt that actor-politician has outrightly “rejected” to be part of the Intensive Household Survey conducted by the government of Telangana on Tuesday. When enumerators for the Survey approached the star’s house, he was said to be in “no mood to be part of the survey and divulge his family, private details.” Survey authorities have no other option but to go back and they said they would gather details from the actor other time. “We will try again to get details from him (Pawan Kalyan) as he is not willing to share them now,” said an enumerator on condition of anonymity.

It may be noticed that Pawan Kalyan has been expressive over his idea of “unity” and “nationality” time and again; and he stated it on several public platforms till date. Maintaining that he respects Telangana sentiment, Pawan is the one who took on KCR, Kavitha and TRS for their alleged “provoking tendency”, “extreme separatist views” and “political advantageous nature”.

Although, he is talented actor and proved his mettle in films like ‘Eega’, ‘Ala Modalayindi’  and ‘Pilla Zamindar” but his market hasn’t expanded, so his new rate card, wasn’t keeping up with declining branding. The biggest flop “Aha Kalyanam” (remake of Band Baaza…) further dented his star value so, he should have been more ‘accommodate’ to take up a film, rather he is quoting big sum, to boost and survive his stardom.

Now, he needs to have a good film on hand and should not give up an offer, just for the sake of money. He is doing it to keep small-time producers and directors or is he believing that he deserves such a good price, it is difficult to believe?

The latest entrant in Telugu filmdom is Master Roshan Kanakala, son of anchor Suma and actor Rajeev Kanakala. Roshan is playing a significant role in his maiden film ‘Anantham’. Not many know that Suma has a grown up son like Roshan and she is quite upbeat about her son’s passion.

“Right from his childhood, Roshan has been passionate about acting. Though Rajeev has been supportive, I didn’t encourage him much as I was afriad that he may not focus on his studies. And it is the story of ‘Anantham’ that provoked both Rajeev and me to give a nod to Roshan.” Directed by Ramana Lokvarma, the movie has Rajeev Kanakala in a pivotal role. Suma and Rajeev are hoping that this film would fetch their son Roshan good recognition. The music was just released and makers are planning to release the film shortly.

Wrapping his work on Gopala Gopala, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan is now revisiting the script of Gabbar Singh 2. His astounding fan base is enthusiastic to see him on silver screen as soon as possible before they forget the euphoria created by Attarintiki Daredi last year. Formation of Jana Sena party and election campaigns has dragged Pawan’s movie plans, and this delay will be first sufficed by his Lord Krishna acts.

Vivacious acts of Pawan in Sri Krishna role are the sole high point of Oh My god remake, because that doubled up the grandeur and scaled the range of the movie. With just Venky in the lead role, Gopala Gopala wouldn’t have fetched so much attention. And the big rumor till date is that Pawan will be revealing his look from the movie on Srkrishna Janmashtami. Though this festival is being celebrated today, there is no hint about the new-age Lord Krishna, aka Powerstar’s first look from the flick. Seems like, there is no festival offer from him.
