It was another case of a fake imposter taking disadvantage of the exploding social networking phenomenon. Renowned actor-director-producer Kamal Haasan, widely known as colossus of film fraternity, has been conferred with Life Time Achievement Award by the Tamil Chamber of Commerce on the eve of its 70th anniversary. Former AP Chief Minister and present Tamil Nadu Governor K. Rosaiah has presented the award to the multi-faceted star on Saturday evening in Chennai.

Heaping praises on Kamal’s achievnemnts before presenting the award, Rosaiah said, “I don’t know too much about films, but I’ve always enjoyed watching Kamal’s Telugu films. He has a great fan base in AP, Telangana and all over the world.”

The Universal Star, who experimented with versatile roles, genres, was felicitated at the do with a silk shawl and award, thanked one and all in his speech for the nice words of appreciation.
