The film expected to be a political satire and it would be made with a 50 crores budget, and it could go down as one of the costliest film ever in RGV’s career. Sumanth becomes millionaire after death of ANR

Not on reel but in real. Sumanth Akkineni, grandson of Late Dr ANR has become heir to the property left behind by ANR. The veteran actor succumbed to a massive cardiac attack even as he was successfully battling cancer had residence on Road #1 Banjara Hills which was later converted to a commercial property.

And ANR loved his grandson Sumanth so dearly that he and his wife Annapurna adopted him and his sister Supriya when they were small after his parents left to US. And Sumanth was always with grandparents. Sumanth married actress Keerthi Reddy (Arjun fame) in 2004 but divorced in 2006 and since his separation Sumanth was with ANR itself at ANR’s Jubilee Hills’ residence.

Now with the death of the thespian the actor’s Banjara Hills’ property goes to Sumanth and it is learnt that the property runs easily in some tens of crores!

Though Chiranjeevi’s ‘Stalin’ was bombed at box office, the movie took Mega Star to another level for the good message and his real emotions. The film directed by AR Murugadoss won accolades of critics and audience. But, due to some reasons it fell short to avoid flop. Chiranjeevi performance, line story, Mani Sharma mesmerizing background score and Murugadoss making were major highlights in the movie.

Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan become fan of Murugadoss after watching Gajini and Stalin is wishing to work with him. Allu Aravind is planning to make a film in Charan and Murugadoss combination. The movie may take off some time next year.

Even after knowing flop result of Stalin, chiranjeevi’s good friend Salman Khan took a brave decision to remake the film in Hindi. Titled ‘Jai Ho’, the movie released few days ago got lukewarm response due to weak narration. A well experience director should have handled the project because of its sensibilities. If they had made needed changes to screenplay, it would have definitely helped the movie. Salman’s brotherSohail Khan who directed the movie just copied each and every scene of original version.

Concepts like Stalin need a perfect and gripping screenplay without comprising any commercial elements. Making such films with star heroes will cause overflow of budget. Whatever, Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan should be appreciated for the endeavor!

Indications are strong that YSRCP President Jagan Mohan Reddy can never realise his dream. He dreamed of becoming Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh and address as leader of AP assembly. Now it will never happen with the rejected Telangana bill sent from the AP assembly today.

Speaker will now send the bill along with the views of the members to the President Pranab Mukherjee, from where decks will be cleared for the Govt to place the bill in the parliament. If UPA Govt gets the bill passed in the upcoming parliament session starting from Feb as per its plans, then Andhra Pradesh division will be complete.

This signals end of Andhra Pradesh state in its present form. When it happens Jagan can become only CM of seemandhra. But samaikyandhra supporters are hoping that the the process will face legal problems. Only if that happens Jagan can become CM of United Andhra Pradesh. However some say forget about samaikyandhra CM, he can not even become CM of seemandhra, going by the changing political situation.

Aishwarya Rai, who has been taking a break from acting post birth of Aaradhya Bachchan, is all set to make a comeback. But the news is that she is making a bigger, grand reentry. Buzz is that Aishwarya is going to join with a Mani Ratnam film. Rumour mill says that Aishwarya has been signed for Mani Ratnam’s next.

Interestingly, the movie stars Nagarjuna and Mahesh Babu in pivotal roles, say reports. Talk is that Aishwarya would pair up with Nagarjuna in the film. However, the female lead opposite Mahesh Babu is not yet finalized. Strangely, Mani hasn’t cast Abhishek Bachchan who earlier teamed up with him in Guru and Raavan, as the proposed project is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. The yet-to-be-titled film is rumoured to be adaptation of classic Tamil novel Ponniyin Selvan. However, Mani Ratnam hasn’t revealed whether this is a new story or adaptation of the proposed novel. Considering that Nagarjuna’s previous combination with Mani Ratnam, Geetanjali, is a classic and this is first time combo with Mahesh Babu, expectations on this film are way too high even before a formal announcement.

Currently in pre-production phase, the proposed movie is expected to roll on from September or October. If all goes well, Telugu audiences could watch Mahesh Babu, Nagarjuna and Aishwarya Rai in single frame. Stay tuned to this space for more updates.

T-BILL rejected in AP assembly

In a major blow to Telangana activists and big set back to UPA government, “Draft” Bill of Andhra Pradesh Reorganization 2013 has been rejected in Andhra Pradesh assembly. Speaker of AP assembly Nadendla Manohar has hit a sixer in the last ball. Taking everyone by surprise, speaker accepted CM’s recommendation and put the bill to vote in Legislative assembly. The bill has been passed by voice vote (Muzuvani vote).

Since assembly is seen as the first step of democracy and echoes the voice of people of state, rejection of the Telangana Bill in present form is seen as a major embarrassment to Centre government.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, who is staunch supporter of United Andhra Pradesh, has walked out of the AP assembly shouting slogan “JAI SAMAIKYANDHRA” soon after the rejection of Telangana Bill.

With this, President Pranab Mukherjee is in dilemma. He may seek legal opinion on this, say sources. The bill is likely to be introduced in Parliament next month which is expected to draw flak from Seemandhra MPs.

Prabhas is lead actor in both the versions and NTR is roped into play an important role. Rajamouli is close aide of NTR and the duo delivered hat trick hits- Student No 1, Simhadri and Yama Donga. Despite having three movies with Rs.40+ Crores collections on his name, no one is considering Cherry as a contender for No 1 position along with Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu. This is really awful and Cherry seems to have done the brain storming along with his dad to trace the exact reasons.

Mega Power Star confined himself to a set of stories and scripts without extending the versatility. Though ‘Racha, Nayak’ and ‘Yevadu’ are hits at BO, none of them have done a big change to Charan’s stardom something like ‘Magadheera.’ So, need of the hour for ramcharan is to experiment in new areas like Pawan Kalyan and Mahesh Babu. Nagarjuna’s emotional gift for ANR fans!

Akkineni fans are still finding it difficult to come out of the grief due to ANR’s sudden demise. His son Nagarjuna on the other side is planning a surprise for Akkineni fans. ANR recently invited about 2000 people from India and abroad for his 90th Birthday. At the event, he went table to table and warmly spoke with him. He even made a hour long speech that day covering various aspects of his life and experiences.

Nagarjuna had got it recorded then and is planning to release it to fans as a memoir of the legend. “Fortunately we recorded it. It’s the only biographical life-sketch we have of him. We are now planning to make it public”, the actor said.

It will be very emotional for fans to see the Legend speak. What is more emotional is we will be able to see him on big screen for one last time when his last movie, Manam will be releasing on March 31st. The grand old man is adamant and dubbed it in his last days on his bed. Nagarjuna remembers with moist eyes, “I do not want some mimicry artist to dub my role. Get the equipment I will complete it before it gets worse”.

Kiran to quit politics ?

The rebel CM Kiran Kumar Reddy has once again put off his plan of action for Samaikyandhra and made perhaps bluff to quit politics if Telangana Bill was passed in Parliament. Speaking to reporters in the assembly lobby the self styled Samaikayawadi CM Kiran has once again said that both the congress high command and centre should rethink on imposing Telangana bifurcation against the will of people.

Earlier he said he would submit his resignation if the T Bill is introduced in Assembly. Later he changed his political agenda and said he would resign his CM post after making his speech in the Assembly. Kiran did not do either of them till now. The rebel CM Kiran Kumar Reddy has once again extended his deadline to quit his post and politics.

Now has thrown another bomb by declaring that if the Telangana bill is passed in Parliament he would quit permanently from politics CM a self styled Samaikayawadi has been gesticulating against the high command and UPA government for imposing Telangana bifurcation off and on. Kiran did not do either of them till now . The CM has also moved a resolution against the T Bill and said it was a draft and hence could not be discussed in the house and demanded centre to send the original bill they plan to table in Parliament. There is no response from President for his third letter seeking another extension of three weeks for debating the T Bill.
