Looks like, the wait is finally over if we have to be believe a gossip doing rounds in Film Nagar at the moment. The most powerful Baabai and Abbai of Tollywood are finally blurring differences to join hands, it appears.

The other day ace producer-director YVS Chowdary announced a sequel to his super hit flick ‘Laahiri Laahiri Laahirilo’ and ‘Seethayya’. It is already heard that in one of their sequels, Jr NTR will play the hero as per lobbying being done by YVS at the moment. But some folks are saying that YVS is in touch with Balayya too regarding a movie. They say that this director who happens to be hardcore fan of NTR wants to direct both Balayya and NTR in the sequel of ‘Laahiri..’, ‘Krishna Mukunda Murari’. In that case this will be the first time we will witness two Nandamuri heroes joining  hands for a mult-starrer that is no less than a blockbuster even before its release.

However chances for this project to materialize are quite slim if we look at the technical happenings. Jr NTR is busy for next two years with three projects, Ramayya Vastavayya, Rabhasa and Sukumar’s movie. Meanwhile by the time he completes those flicks, Balayya will get busier in state politics as elections will be wrapped up by then. So, when will they get time to act together? Only time will tell!

Manchu Vishnu, who is currently in Slovenia country shooting songs for his upcoming film ‘Doosukeltha’, is unable to walk in the evenings after the shoot. The reason behind this is, the ‘Denikaina Ready’ star is working hard on his dance moves under the supervision of choreographer Prem Rakshit master. Seems like Prem Rakshit has composed some difficult dance moves and Vishnu appears to be sweating out and breaking his bones to get them perfect on screen. “I am very close of hating dance master Prem Raksith. I am barely able to walk in the evenings after shoot with him,” tweeted Vishnu.

Andhala Rakshasi fame Lavanya is pairing up with Vishnu in this movie. This project will be produced by Vishnu himself on his 24 frames factory banner. Sarvesh Murari is handling the camera while ‘Melody Brahma’ Mani Sharma is composing music. Mohan Babu will be presenting it. More details on this project later.

Seldom do we hear that teacher wants to learn from his disciple. One such instance has happened in Tollywood. Veteran director K Raghavendra Rao is extremely pleased with S S Rajamouli that he wants to work as assistant director under Rajamouli. When Rajamouli narrated Baahubaali’s story, K Raghavendra Rao was thrilled and immediately expressed his desire to watch and learn for Rajamouli. Such is the humility of the veteran director. Rajamouli started his career as an assistant to Raghavendra Rao. Today Rajamouli is one of the most sought after director in Tollywood.

The movie which is reportedly the biggest budget movie ever made in Telugu, will go on to sets in May. Anushka will be pairing with Prabhas in this movie for the third time after Billa and Mirchi. Rana is playing Prabhas’ brother in the movie. This project will be jointly produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under Arka Media banner and will be presented by K Raghavendra Rao. Keeravani will be scoring the music.

Taking a cue from Bollywood films, Rajamouli had added a song ‘Anaganaganaga’ during the end credits of his Magadheera movie. The song made everybody sit in the hall and watch the behind screen stars. Now this trend is being followed by none other than Ram Charan’s brother-in-law Allu Arjun. In his upcoming film ‘Iddarammayilatho,’ ‘Top Lechipoddi’ song will feature all the crew members of the film including producer Bandla Ganesh, director Puri Jagannadh etc. Well, we have to see whether other makers will also catch this trend or not.

The movie will hit the screens on May 23rd. Puri Jagannadh who earlier delivered a super hit to Bunny in the form of Desamudhuru is the director of this film.. The film is being produced by Bandla Ganesh under Parameswara Arts banner. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer.

Stylish Star Allu Arjun seem to be in no mood of taking rest. He has just wrapped up his part in ‘Iddarammayilatho’ shooting and  had joined the first day shoot of his new upcoming film under the direction of Surender Reddy starting today.  ‘Bhuchodu’ and ‘Race Gurram’ are the titles under consideration. However no official announcement has been made by the makers of the movie so far. The movie is planned for Dasara release.

Shruti Hassan will be pairing up with Allu Arjun in this movie. Producers Nallamalapu Srinivas (Bujji) and & Dr K Venkateswara Rao will be producing this crazy combo together and Vakkantham Vamsi is penning the story. SS Thaman would compose the music for the first time for an Allu Arjun’s film.

Looks like May month is festive season for Akkineni fans as back to back films from their heroes are getting released. ‘Greekuveerudu’ is out today and Naga Chaitanya is coming next week as well. His upcoming film ‘Thadaka’ release date has been confirmed by the makers. The movie will be hitting screens on May 10th. The movie is remake of Tamil blockbuster ‘Vettai’. Sunil will be seen in brother role of Naga Chaitanya in this film. Tamannah is pairing up opposite to Chaitu and Andrea is pairing with Sunil. This film is very important to Naga Chaitanya as his previous flick failed to impress.

Remake of Tamil hit, Vettai, the film stars Tamannah as heroine opposite Naga Chaitanya and Andrea Jeremiah for Sunil. It is being directed by ‘Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam’ fame Dolly and is produced by Bellamkonda Suresh under his Sri Sai Ganesh Productions banner. Thaman is the music composer.

 

Handsome hero Nagarjuna and Nayanatara starrer ‘Greeku Veerudu’ movie is releasing amid high expectations on Friday. After having some failed experiments like Rajanna, Damarukam Nag seems returns to his regular format of romantic films with this Greeke Veerudu movie. Nagarjuna seems to be extremely cautious with this film as he too has adopted the ‘event manager’ concept, which is now being adopted by Tollywood and Bollywood film industries as if it also become a formula for success.

According to inputs, the film carries some features of Nagarjuna’s super hit films-Manmadudu and Santosham, but will be presented in a polished style.

The story line of this romantic entertainer goes like this. Nagarjuna is a professional event manager in US. He doesn’t have any particular feelings in love and he prefers temporary relations than having permanent ones. He comes to India on some work, where he meets heroine Nayanatara, who is a doctor serving in ‘Make a wish’ voluntary organization. She believes in strong relationships and family bonds. How these quite different personalities fall in love and how they influence each other forms rest of the story. Ace comedian Brahmanandam is acting as a doctor and it is learnt his services were fully used in the entire 2nd half of the film. Chopra is playing important role in this movie. This film is directed by Dasarath. Need not to say that Nag has pinned all his hopes on this film.

Charmee who once paired up with all the big stars, is now finding it difficult to bag second heroine roles in Telugu. However, the actress know her limitations and is planning her career other way. She is giving preference to female oriented movies. And now she had signed one more such movie directed by Osho Tulasi Ram who earlier wielded megaphone for Charmee’s Mantra and Mangala.

The movie is touted to be one more thriller and the director is working on the script. The movie will go on floors in June. The film will be produced by CHV Sarma on Mantra Entertainments banner. Sarma earlier produced Mangala too. More details on this project later.

The southern superstar Rajinikanth has been recently teaming up with Bollywood actresses in some of his films for example the super hit film ‘Enthiran’ with beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bacchhan and his forthcoming film with Deepika Padukone, ‘Kochadaiyaan’. His pairing with Aishwarya was chiefly praised in the song titled ‘Oh Baby’ and we expect the same kind of result from his upcoming movie.

Latest reports say that the southern celebrity will work opposite Vidya Balan, the successful actress of ‘The Dirty Picture’ fame, in his next venture with K.V. Anand. The particulars about the film are being kept a secret until his film with Padukone hits the theatres.

Rumors also say that in the upcoming 66th Cannes Film Festival this year, the jury members will include the talented actress Vidya Balan while Rajinikanth’s film Kochadaiyaan’s trailer will be presented at the festival which will most probably be held on May 15.
