Nandamuri Balakrishna always used to entertain movie lovers and fans with two to three films every year. But after his last Srimannarayana, Balayya did not sign a single project and he did not show interest in starting a new project. Many film makers and even fans started finding out reasons for Balakrishna’s acts.

All the time media used to be abuzz with reports that he is about to sign a film with this or that director but nothing materialised. But all those remained just rumors. Now many are talking about Ruler under Boyapati Srinu direction but till now nothing came out and so one gets a feeling that even this project may go for a toss.

Many say that the gap is due to Balakrishna tasting flops and going by the current trend, even Balakrishna wants to focus more on politics and Basavatarakam cancer hospital. It is a strategic decision by Simha.    

The statement made by Boyapati Srinu, who gave the blockbuster Simha to Bala Krishna is seen by observers as an indirect punch by Balayya to Jr. NTR and his recent hit ‘Baadshah’.

Boyapati gave a TV interview on the occasion of his birthday on Wednesday. In that interview, he talked about his career and his forthcoming film with Balayya.

In the conversation, Boyapati said he always maintained some values as director. He sarcastically said he doesn’t want a comedian to be the hero of a Rs. 50 crore film. He said he takes a film with heroism as the theme.

This dialogue is seen as a punch at Jr. NTR and Baadshah. It may be recalled that there is talk that ‘Baadshah’ became a hit because of Brahmanandam, who ignited the screen with humour in the second half. It was even said fans were watching the film repeatedly only for the second half and Brahmanandam. Now there is talk in the film industry that Balayya could have made Boyapati crackle this satire at Jr. NTR. The comment meant that Jr. NTR could not show any heroism and instead depended on a comedian for the success of his film, say observers.
 

Telugu actor Sunil Varma, who shares screen space with Naga Chaitanya in upcoming action-drama “Thadaka”, feels that the latter is one of the fast evolving mass heroes in the industry.

“I played his (Chaitanya) friend in his debut film ‘Josh’ and play his co-star in ‘Thadaka’. The transformation I see in him now is unbelievable because he played a lover boy then, and now plays a completely mass-appealing character. It’s not easy to evolve as a mass hero in such a short period of time,” Sunil told.

“I’m sure audiences are going to love the biggest highlight of the film – the fights featuring him. Sooner or later, he will be known as one of the best mass heroes in the industry,” he added.

Directed by Kishore Kumar Pardasani, “Thadaka” is the Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster “Vettai”. It also features Tammannah Bhatia and Andrea Jeremiah in key roles.

Sunil and Chaitanya will feature in roles originally played by R. Madhavan and Arya respectively. The remake will feature Ashutosh Rana, who played the baddie in the original. “It’s an out and out commercial entertainer with appropriate dose of humour and romance. I believe Chaitu and I hit it off quite well working together,” said Sunil, who started his career as a comedian and went to play lead roles.

Sunil says he will never forget his roots.

“I know where I have come from and I will always remember that. Audiences accepted me as a comedian first and then as a hero and, therefore, I will entertain them as much as possible. Even in this film, I have good amount of comedy and action to perform,” he added.

“Thadaka” also features Nagendra Babu, Brahmanandam, Vennela Kishore, Raghu Babu, Rama Prabha, Jaya Prakash Reddy and Srinivasa Reddy. Slated to release in May, it is produced by Bellamkonda Ganesh.

While Tarun’s mother Roja Ramani already intensified her search for a suitable bride for him as he is currently busy with his latest film ‘Godavenduku Bangarm’, Nitin who scored a hit with Gundejaari Gallantayyinde revealed that he will get married soon but not this year.

He stated he is busy with current projects and so only next year he will be searching for match. He made it clear that he is not loving any one as he doesn’t get time to even think of it.
 

Actor Gopichand’s wedding date has been fixed on May 12. The handsome actor will enter into wedlock with Reshma, who happens to be a niece of another T-Town actor Srikanth. The star-studded wedding will take place at N-Convention Centre in Madhapur, Hyderabad and several high film and political personalities are expected to grace the marriage ceremony.

Gopichand is currently shooting for his next, Sahasam under the direction of Chandra Sekhar Yeleti. The movie shooting is almost complete. He will begin the shooting of B.Gopal movie after the marriage. We wish the young lad all the best!

India’s first ever gold medalist in Olympics, shooter Abhinav Bindra’s autobiography, ‘A Shot at History’ is very soon going to be made in to a film. Speaking to media, the shooter had confirmed about this project. he said “Yes, it’s true that a movie is being made, but I wouldn’t like to talk about it at the moment,” he told.

Buzz is a US based actor Amit Bolkani acquired rights to make film on the autobiography along with his partners. Bindra’s father said “The film will focus on his hardship and his achievements. The script has been finalized and the shooting will take place primarily in India, Germany, and China,” he said. Asked if Abhinav will also act in the film, he replied, “I don’t see him acting in it, but his visuals will probably find place in the film.” The director and cast are still being finalized yet.

Anjali is currently busy shooting for ‘Bol Bachchan’ remake with Venkatesh and Ram in the lead role. She is pairing up with Venky in the remake film and is currently shooting in Panchagani, Maharashtra. The actress recently alleged that Kollywood filmmaker Kalanjiyam harassed her. However Kalanjiyam denied all the allegations and filed a defamation case against her.

Now he is yet to file another case against the leading lady for not attending the shooting of his next venture in which Anjali also features. She had given dates to his film till the month end but she did not turn up to the sets. However Kalanjiyam tried to contact Anjali on phone but she was unavailable. Kalanjiyam is getting ready to complain to Nadigar Sangham against Anjali. We will have to see how Anjali will react on this dispute.

The otherwise media reclusive Mahesh Babu had spoken to Zoom Tv in Mumbai while shooting for an ad film there. The ‘Dookudu’ star said he is never interested in acting in remakes and always want his movies to be remade in other languages. He also said he preferred Dabangg hero Salman Khan for remake of his films. “Salman suits the best in my remakes. Because there are lot of action elements in my films and it suits his image and personality. It’s my dream whenever I make a film it should be remade in other languages”, added Prince.

Interestingly Mahesh’s ‘Pokiri’ which was remade in Hindi as ‘Wanted’ gave much needed break to Salman Khan who was low at that point of time. And then on Salman gave continuous hits at box office. Hope we see few more remakes of Mahesh’s films by Salman in future.

Young Tiger Jr.NTR’s forthcoming movie ‘ramayya vastavayya’ is creating ripples in its production stage itself. It is a known news that the title and the first look of the movie were revealed recently. Now, the makers are planning to release the teaser of the movie soon.
