Some of the media sources reported that Power Star pawan kalyan would be attending the audio launch of Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s ‘Iddarammayilatho’ movie. However, inside sources revealed that as of now, neither pawan kalyan nor the makers of ‘Iddarammayilatho’ had the plans of pawan kalyan to be associated this audio launch. This is prior information for those mega fans who seek Pawan’s presence in the function to avoid their disappointment and to avoid their protests for Pawan’s presence. However, we can’t deny if the makers decide pawan kalyan to attend this function as a chief guest next few days.

Dusky beauty Amala Paul and sexy siren Catherine have shared the screen space with Allu Arjun in this romantic and action entertainer. Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music of the film. Maverick director Puri Jagannadh directed the movie while  Bandla Ganesh Babu produced the movie on Parameswara Art Productions. The audio launch will be held at Shilpakala Vedika of Hyderabad on 28th of this month while the movie is slated for release on 24th of May.

In the same flow, Nithin shared information that Nizam distribution rights of pawan kalyan-Trivikram film have been bagged by Global Cinemas for an undisclosed but a huge amount.

‘Happy n proud to share with u all that Global Cinemas acquired the distribution rights of POWERSTAR n Trivikram’s film for Nizam area and we r also the partners in global cinemas. I cannot disclose the amount but it’s the highest price ever for Nizam area. I only made them buy the film,’ Nithin said. The untitled film boasts a star cast of Samanta and Praneetha as leads heroines besides Pawan while DSP is the music composer.

Pawan Kalyan latest untitled film with Trivikram Srinivas is making noise over the past couple of days. Nitin’s father has bought the Nizam rights of the film for a fancy price and now the overseas rights were bagged by a new overseas distribution agency for a whopping amount of rupees 6.70 crores. With publicity and print it will cost 7.2 crores for the distributors. This is the highest paid amount for any Tollywood film in overseas. Hope the agency makes it a profitable venture.

Atharintiki Daredhi is rumoured to be the title in consideration. After Jalsa, Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram Srinivas team up for the second time in this action entertainer. Samantha will play the female lead role. The film is produced by BVSN Prasad under his Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner. Reliance Entertainment will be co-producing the movie. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music.

With consecutive musical hits Anoop Rubens is slowly climbing the ladder of big league music directors. ‘Ishq’ and ‘Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde’ brought him more recognition and has drawn the attention Tollywood biggies. Especially Yuvasamarat Nagarjuna is quite impressed with Anoop’s work and offered him two big ventures. Anoop now will be handling music for ‘Hello Brother’ remake with Naga Chaitanya and the three generation Akkineni heroes’ multi starrer film ‘Manam’. Currently Anoop is busy with Sushanth’s ‘Adda’.

The formal muhurath of Hello Brother remake took place few days ago. It was a low key affair. The movie will go on to sets very soon. Damarukam fame Srinivas Reddy will be wielding megaphone for this project. D.Siva Prasad Reddy will be producing it under his Kamakshi Enterprises banner. ‘Manam’ will be made by Nagarjuna himself on ‘Annapoorna Studios’ banner. Hope both projects will succeed musically and make Anoop top music composer.

Ravi Teja’s flop track started with ‘Veera’ film and he went to deliver 6 flops last year. And now he had pinned all hopes on his Balupu movie which is gearing up for release this Summer. But Ravi Teja’s future does not seems healthy. He has signed a new project with none other than ‘Veera’ director Ramesh Varma.  ‘Multi-dimensions’ banner will produce the film. The movie will go to sets next month.

Interestingly Ravi Teja gave a chance to Harish Shankar after ‘Shock’. ‘Mirapakai’ clicked at box office, hopefully this tactic of Ravi Teja will work. We wish Ravi Teja all the best for this risky endeavour!

Bollywood actress Vidya Balan will be part of the prestigious 66th Cannes Film Festival’s nine-member jury, led by Hollywood director Steven Spielberg. The other biggies in this jury list are ‘Life of Pi’ director Ang Lee, Oscar-winning actress Nicole Kidman, Oscar-winner Christophe Waltz, Japanese director Naomi Kawase, Scottish director Lynne Ramsay, French actor-director Daniel Auteuil and Romanian director Cristian Mungiu.

Vidya is best known for her path-breaking roles in films like ‘The Dirty Picture’ and ‘Kahaani’. Actress Nandita Das is also a part of a separate jury for short films category apart from Vidya. The festival runs from May 15th to 26th
