Usually, top actresses like Kaajal, Samantha and Trisha were content and endorsed retail brands for 40 lakhs, but Tamannah has doubled her pay packet, since she claims that her is popularity is pan-India since her next Hindi film with Akshay ‘Entertainment’ has created lot of buzz. ‘No doubt, she has huge following in Andhra and Tamilnadu but yet to establish herself in Bollywood’, so mall is in a dilemma to pay her or not’ says a source.

It is being said that the unit will find it extremely difficult to finish its post production activities on time for a release on August 15, a date which the makers are targeting at. If this turns out to be true we are looking at the film getting postponed by couple of weeks at least.

The only way, sources say, the makers can make it to the date, if they are so hell bent on its Independence Day release, is to release the film with half baked post production. Complete whatever post production work that needs to be completed in a hurry without taking care of quality then the film can arrive on time. In the past makers of Oosaravelli adopted a similar path to release the film at any cost for Dushera festival. We all know how the final result of the film turned out to be. Can Jr NTR and makers take such risk again considering the big prices paid by the distributors?

Director Goutham Menon terminated his assistant director for leaking the death news of Trisha on Facebook. You might be quite shocked to read the previous line. Coming to the actual point, Trisha is presently shooting for a Tamil movie opposite Ajith. She is playing his wife and Anushka is the main female lead for the film ‘Thala 55′. This is the fourth time Trisha is romancing Ajith.

And then many stated that there are scenes resembling Antyakshari scene and Kabaddi fight scene in the flick. Traces of such Gabbar Singh scenes could be noticed in Aagadu teaser. Theatrical trailer of Jr NTR’s latest movie ‘Rabhasa’ has created a never before excitement for Nandamuri fans, but it seems like film industry folks are not as excited as fans. All their expectations are not met either by the trailer or the audio album. Check this story.

Fans got connected with NTR’s punch dialogues and high octane fights, but film critics are feeling that ‘Rabhasa’ trailer is full of violence but no substance. Also the story, emotional scenes and characterizations are looking pretty much familiar with previous mass-entertainers delivered by the Nandamuri hero. Industry folks felt that NTR has chosen a safe-path of five songs, four fights and four comedy sequences format to score a hit. Also Thaman’s songs are not instant hit with music lovers except for the one sung by Jr NTR. Of course Thaman’s song click well once they are watched on silver screen and heard along with visual. But for now, industry folks are not quite excited with Rabhasa.

Directed by Santosh Srinivas of Kandireega fame, Rabhasa is a fully loaded mass entertainer with every ingredient stuffed in for all sections of audiences. Undoubtedly the film is going to be a money spinner if we have to go by the hype, irrespective of what film critics think. Let us see.

New kid on the block, Alludu Seenu has already stunned with his powerful presence at box office just with his first flick. Rumours are doing rounds now that Bellamkonda Srinivas is all set to star in Boyapati Seenu’s latest flick, which will be either produced by Dil Raju or Bellamkonda Suresh himself.

Though ‘Legend’ is touted to be one of the blockbusters of the year, director Boyapati got no big offers from any big star heroes. He tried his luck with a script that is tentatively titled ‘Ruler’ and Ram Charan rejected it straight away. Later our director has approached Jr NTR too with a tweaked version of the same Ruler but that too fizzled out. With no options left, Boyapati Seenu has also considered making a movie with new comers in the lead. Somehow that idea didn’t worked and finally he got the attention of Bellamkonda Srinivas it seems.

If at all Boyapati makes a mass action movie with Srinivas, surely it is going to be the Ruler script narrated to Charan and NTR. Else if he had a new story, he would have first gone to Charan and NTR again. So if Ruler is made with Bellamkonda’s son and scores a blockbuster, then it will be proved that Charan’s judgment is wrong. Else both the Seenus should work hard to grab another project.

Already September 19th is declared as release date of ‘Aagadu’ and the whole unit under captain Sreenu Vytla’s direction is racing against time to complete the flick much ahead of the date. What exactly are Mahesh and his director doing at the moment?

Recently the much hyped item number featuring seductress Shruti Haasan and Mahesh was shot in Hyderabad. Now the shooting has entered its last leg with our hero wrapping the climax portions at a brisk pace. Nagababu’s son, the new entrant from the Mega family, Varun Tej’s debut film shoot is going on at a brisk pace. Director Srikanth Addala considered Gollabhama as title for this film. This title has been widely publicized and got mixed reactions from the public. Mega fans are particularly not happy with the title as it is not hero centric.

Gollabhama means grass hopper and not many of the modern day audience know the actual meaning of it. After discussing on title change for many days, the unit has finally decided to go for a new title. Mukunda and Mukunda Murari are the new titles in consideration for this film.

Official announcement about the new title will arrive soon. This is a good move from the makers as having a universally accepted title for a new hero is very important for the prospects of the film. Varun Tej will showcase all his skills in this film that has good drama and romance. There is also some action in it, said sources.

However, this much talked about poster is not looking like an original idea with people finding out that it is very much inspired from a vintage music album cover.

A Portuguese musician named Quim Barreiros has posed that way for his music album way back in 1973. In that poster, the musician has hidden his modesty with a musical instrument, whereas Aamir replaced it with a radio. Why did you become copy cat, Mr Aamir?

A Telugu film getting remade in Kannada is very common. In fact most of the hit Telugu films are remade sooner or later as dubbing isn’t allowed in Kannada film industry. But very rarely do we see a flop film get remade in other language. Maaya, the ESP thriller which released this Friday to mixed response and poor houses is an example of such an exception.

Producer of the film Madhura Sreedhar Reddy has confirmed that the film is going to be remade in Kannada soon. The remake rights have been bought by Sridhar Reddy and Murugappan of Dhalakshmi Printers. They have in the past taken the remake rights of Prema Katha Chithram as well. Maaya was directed by Neelakanth and it contained an interesting thriller element as its main content. It’s been made at low budget so these remake rights would surely provide some respite for the makers for sure.

In the past something similar was seen with Andhrawala remake in Kannada. As we all know how big a disaster was that film in Telugu but in Kannada the film turned out to be a successful venture for the makers. It was directed by none other than our Meher Ramesh. Will we see something similar happen with Maaya remake?

Opponents in any field don’t lose a chance to hit their enemies either directly or by throwing satires. And it is crystal clear to both cine folks and audiences about the enmity between Chiru and Rajasekhar. This time Rajasekhar chose a telly chat show to attack his opponents. Both Rajasekhar and Jeevita alongwith Prabhudeva took part in veteran director K . Raghavendra Rao’s show ‘Soundarya Lahari’. Jeevita asked Rajasekhar if he is interested to do a multi-starrer, with whom would he pair up with. Without hesitation, Rajasekhar took Chiranjeevi’s name. He further explained that if he has got a substantial and equal role, he would even play a villian in Chiru’s movie.

Rajasekhar didn’t stop with this. When asked who his favourite actress is, he took the name of Nayanatara. Prabhudeva’s face turned pale hearing that answer. However this reply is like a tit for tat. Before that, when Jeevita enquired Prabhu who he considers the best dancer in the three film industries he is associated with, Prabhu simply said, “Chiru Sir. I love him. I just love him”. Jeevita turned pale. One can easily guess why Rajasekhar took Nayanatara’s name. Something like a hide and seek game.

NTR’s Rabhasa shoot was complete and is currently under post production. This film is expected to release on the 15th of this month. Recently released audio is getting good response from the fans. NTR fans are eagerly waiting for the release date as they are expecting this movie to enter the fifty crores club.

Rabhasa makers are in tremendous pressure to release the movie on time. As of now post production work is not complete and there is a plenty to wrap up before 11th August (expected Censor date). Can Rabhasa make it by then? August 15th is the best date for a big release as the National Holiday is followed by the weekend.

If Rabhasa misses the 15th, it will have to settle for August 28th release targeting Vinayaka Chathurthi holiday. But 15th is a better date and the makers are aware of it. So they are working round the clock to finish off the balance work.

It is common knowledge that actors Chiranjeevi and Rajasekhar are poles apart. Their off-screen enmity, which was enhanced with political rivalry, has been a talking point in film industry.

Notwisthanding this, actor Rajasekhar has expressed his wish to act with Chiranjeevi. In a TV interview with his wife-actress Jeevitha, Rajasekhar publicly stated that he is interested to star opposite Chiru if he has got an opportunity. When Jeevitha questioned him whom would he love to act, if he gets an opprotunity in a multi-starrer, Rajasekhar said the above, taking everyone by surprise.

Contrary to rumours that director shelved plans of Adhurs 2, Vinayak clarified that he has already worked on a script close to Adhurs. Like the original, the sequel will also be out-and-out action entertainer. Vinayak is basking in the success of Alludu Seenu. Soon after this, he will be taking up the project.

Adhurs is 2010 action comedy, starring Jr NTR and Nayantara. The movie featuring NTR in dual roles did exceptiaonlly well at Box Office. Especially, the combination scenes between Brahmanandam and NTR worked brilliantly. Vinayak has given big break for NTR with Aadi and they share good rapport.

Folks who have seen these ads are getting shocked as to why this producer is revealing box office numbers to public. Obviously this revelation is to show the strength of Bellamkonda Sreenivas under Vinayak’s direction. But at a time when audiences doesn’t know the budget invested for making the movie, will they read these ‘gross’ collections as a measurement of success? Only Bellamkonda will be knowing about that.

Coming to box office, the success of ‘Run Raja Run’ might affect Alludu Seenu collections a little, while in B & C centres this young and new alludu will be unleashing his power until another mass masala flick like a Rabhasa arrives.

Actually, Nutrigain, doled out 2 crore for Rajni’s Kochadaiyan, along with cash and print ads, but now have reportedly agreed to shell out Rs2.25 crores, to join hands with much hyped ‘Aagadu’ and producers Gopi Achanta wold be happiest man.

Apart from craze in the business circles, it is even scoring high with in-film brands too. Even though, Mahesh admires Rajni as a mighty star and doesn’t like to comparison with legend, but Mahesh’s popularity is rising like never before, despite duds like ‘Nenokadine’. Earlier, Raceguramm got the top billing of 1.80 lakhs from the same brand, but now Mahesh stands tall among T-town stas too.
