Already hero Srikanth is playing our mega hero’s Baabai in this movie, and now the team revealed that they are on a look out for some big hero to play father character too.

First they thought of roping in Rajendra Prasad for this role, but considering the flop show of KV-Rajendrudu’s Mogudu, he is kept off. A birdie shared that Jagapathi Babu is on cards for the role as his looks in Chiru nephew’s ‘Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham’, simply bowled out mega camp. Let us wait for the official confirmation before making any comments!

If strong rumours are to be believed, Pawan Kalyan has called off his much anticipated Gabbar Singh 2. In substitute, he is doing the Telugu remake of Oh My God which in turn is based on Hollywood film Man who sued God. What’s more? As reported by us earlier, Pawan is sharing screen space with Venkatesh in the film. While Pawan steps into the role of Akshay Kumar in the original (Lord Krishna), Venkatesh will be seen reprising the role of Paresh Rawal (an athiest shopkeeper). Suresh Productions and Pawan Kalyan’s closest aide Sharrath Marar of Northstar Entertainment are jointly producing this multi-starrer.

Meanwhile, the suspense over who is going to wield the megaphone continues. Though initial reports suggested that Dolly of Tadakha fame would helm the project, now grapevine is that director Sampath Nandi, who was supposed to direct Gabbar Singh 2, may also join the project as a compensation.

Talk is that Pawan is not satisfied with the way GS-2 script shaped up. Also, he is apparently disappointed with other things like he couldn’t find the female lead who would do justice for the role.  All this would have prompted him to hold the much awaited project given that there are huge expectations on it. He may ask any other director (probably Trivikram Srinivas) to come up tight script.

The other talk is that Pawan would have spiked Gabbar Singh 2 forever. An industry source opined, “Since Pawan scored a blockbuster with family entertainer Attarintiki Daaredi, he wants to do more lighter-vein roles now. He seems to want to take break from Mass-Masala films for time-being. Yet nothing can be confirmed now as he is unpredictable.” So, it is yet to be confirmed whether Pawan postponed Gabbar Singh 2 for a while or cancelled it forever. On one front he is doing Oh My God remake, on other front his Gabbar Singh 2 is deferred or taking a backseat. Certainly, a mixed news for all Pawan’s fans.

No doubt, Mahesh Babu is a trial-blazer in more ways than one. Along with highest number of endorsements and blockbusters like Pokiri, Dookudu and Businessman under his sleeve, the star has reportedly a signed a 40-crore deal with top production house 14 Reels Film International to do 3 big films for the banner, Even though, B-town stars like Salman and Akshay Kumar have known to signed ‘packaged” deals but Mahesh would go down as the first top Telugu star, to trigger this new trend.

Usually, corporate production houses insist on such fancy deals, to have more grip on a star, but Telugu producers have broken that jinx and roped in the son of superstar Krishna. Apparently, after “One” and “Agadu”, the actor is committed to do another big ticket film and producers are reportedly looking for a top director to launch another film, to complete the deal. Mahesh possesses a good business acumen and bound to rise to dizzy heights.

Kollywood yesteryear star film maker T Rajender’s daughter and actor Simbu sister Ilakkiya wedding was held on Sunday and reception held yesterday. Top celebrities including Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Karthi, Vishnuvardhan, Khushbu, Sundar C, Jayam Ravi, K Bhagyaraj etc attended the reception. Interestingly, Simbu’s girlfriend Hansika Motwani skipped both the events.

Though Krishna Vamsi is currently directing ramcharan for a multi star film which has Srikanth and mostly Nagarjuna in it, ultimate target of this awesome director is not this film. Despite ‘Paisa’ flopped at Box Office, neither Mega Fans are questioning nor raising any doubts on credibility of Chiranjeevi in selecting Krishna Vamsi as director for this project. Reason is the decent track record and his ability to deliver superb final output under any kind of situations (except films like ‘Mogudu’).

If reports to be believed, Pawan Kalyan is all set to act in another film other than his much anticipated Gabbar Singh 2. Going by our strong sources, the Power Star has given his nod for a multi-starrer. He is going to share screen space with none other than Daggubati Venkatesh. And the movie is the Telugu remake of Hindi hit Oh My God.

Thick and fast, Pawan Kalyan’s presence at the audio launch of a particular movie will give signals that the flick might turn a super hit. But this is not true all the times as there are some duds too that bombed at box office irrespective of our hero’s leg blessings.
