‘Vellavayya Vellu’ a dialogue by a new comer Sada in Jayam became a rage then. She struck chord with youth those days and even went to act in a Shankar movie, Aparachithudu. But it is all down hill for her since then and her career is nearing twilight very soon. And now Sada is all set to start a new innings. The ‘Jayam’ heroine will be seen in a special song in hero Vishal’s upcoming bilingual movie. Currently the song picturisation is going on. But Sada says “it’s not just an item song I’m doing in this film, I will be seen in a special role. It will be a surprise to the audience”. Sada is short of opportunities and has no decent hits over the past couple of years. This role will act as her new innings and wish she bags few offers with this.

Vishal is pairing up with Anjali and Varalakshmi, while Sundar C is directing the film. The title of the film is not yet finalized.

A new multi-starrer movie starring Mohan Babu, Vishnu Manchu, Manoj Manchu, Varun Sandesh and Tanish as heroes and Bollywood actress Raveen Tandon, Kum Kum, Hansika Motwani and Praneetha as heroines is all set to be launched on April 21st in a grand manner. ‘Lakshyam’ fame Sreevas will wield megaphone for this giant budget prestigious film which will be produced on Sree Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures and 24 Frames Factory banners. For the first time in Telugu cinema, Vishnu Manchu and Manoj Manchu are going to be the joint producers as well as share the screen space together.

The script for this film has been jointly prepared by Kona Venkat, Gopi Mohan and BVS Ravi. Similarly four leading music directors will be working in the music department of this film. Cinematography will be handled by ‘Gundello Godari’ fame Palani Kumar.

Ram Charan’s polo team ‘Ram Charan – HPRC’ made it big in one of the main tournaments of the Mumbai polo season, PORSCHE CUP 2013. Charan’s team Ramcharan – HPRC has won both their league games from one pool and met 61st Cavalry team in finals. To boost his team Charan took a small break from his hectic shooting schedule and went to support his team. But unfortunately Charan’s team lost in the finals.

61st Cavalry were the winners of the Porsche Cup beating Ramcharan – HPRC by 8 goals to 5. This was the debut for Charan’s team in Mumbai polo season and made their mark strongly. Wish Charan’s team luck for the next season. Despite of their loss, this performance is considered extraordinary since they are playing for the first time in the tournament.

Announcement of release dates for Nagarjuna’s ‘Greekuveerudu’ and Venkatesh’s ‘shadow’ as April 26 is a cause of worry for distributors and exhibitors. While summer season has the capacity to accomodate as many number of new releases as posible but it has become a virtual rule of thumb in Tollywood not to allow two big stars to release their movies on the same date. Whenever such situations came upon, big heads resolved the crisis allowing a monimum of one week gap.

On the same basis, insiders opine that ‘Greekuveerudu’ and ‘shadow’ should not hit screens on same day despite Nag’s producers releasing their first list of theatres today. More disappointing is ‘shadow’ which is continuously postponed from long time has a reason to worry again. Let us wait and see, who will sacrifice for whom?
