Is High command planing to declare Chiru as CM for 2014

Share
The way union minister Chiranjeevi is getting importance in the Congress party is indicating that the High Command has bigger plans for him.

Earlier, when opposition attacked Chiranjeevi, either he or his former PRP colleagues like Ramachandraiah or Ganta Srinivasa Rao used to respond. Now senior Congress leaders are giving strong replies to the critics of Chiru. When TDP called Chiranjeevi a ‘Daga Star’, minister Danam Nagender, government chief whip Gandra Venkata Ramana Reddy and others strongly responded.

It is because of the importance he has been getting from the High Command, state leaders are also giving importance to him, as a precaution. Already reports are doing the rounds that the High Command might declare him Chief Ministerial candidate before the 2014 elections. As Chiru has millions of fans, Congress is hoping to gain through his popularity. By declaring the charismatic hero as the next Chief Minister, the party is hoping to gain the lost ground. The party leadership feels that a leader like Chiranjeevi alone would be able to take on the challenge of Y S Jaganmohan Reddy and his YSR Congress.

Though the High Command has not been very much satisfied with the performance of the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy, it had not replaced him as Sonia Gandhi promised not to frequently replace Chief Ministers and stuck to her word. Her mother-in-law used to listen to complaints of dissidents against Chief Ministers and frequently change them. Sonia Gandhi took an entirely different stand and tried to rather enforce discipline among the party leaders, than allowing them to weaken the top man.

Still, Sonia would be free to choose the next Chief Minister as her obligation towards Kiran Kumar Reddy would end by 2014 say sources. It is because of this increased importance to Chiru that Kiran Kumar Reddy is some times getting irritated say sources. Kiran grew wild when Chiru started making public statements on the power tariff hike and even threw off a letter written by him in rage, said sources. There are strong indications about the growing importance of Chiranjeevi in the Congress echelons feel observers. Sensing the mood of the High Command, even Kiran’s staunch supporters are keeping Chiru in good moods by regularly meeting him, say sources in the Congress party. Even senior leaders are admitting that the beleaguered Congress has no other option for the top post and for facing the elections.

Gopichand’s Sahasam in the last week of May

Share

The first look poster of director Chandra Sekhar Yeleti’s new film Saahasam starring Gopichand and Tapsee in the lead roles is out today on the occasion of auspicious Ugadi festival. Interestingly, Yeleti’s maiden film, Aithey, which won great critical acclaim, was released exactly ten years ago – April 11, 2003. The audio release of the movie will take place in the first week of May and movie will hit the screens in the last week of May.

Produced by BVSN Prasad and Reliance Entertainment, Saahasam is a treasure hunt thriller on the likes of Superstar Krishna’s Mosagallaki Mosagadu. Interestingly, the Saahasam’s title design reminds us of the titles of old movies. Well-known music director Sri is returning to films after long sabbatical with this Saahasam.

Ilayadalpathi not Kollywood Badshah

Share
Ever since PVP Cinemas had acquired the remake rights of Jr. NTR’s recent release block buster “Baadshah”, there was a buzz that Ilayathalapathy Vijay was being considered to reprise the lead role in the Tamil remake. But today Vijay has denied it in a chat with media. It is learnt after the success of “Thuppakki”, Vijay is keen in establishing himself in Tollywood so he is not very much interested in doing remakes.

It has to remember that last year Vijay refused the offer to act in the remake of “Dookudu”. Vijay will return back from Australia and join “Jilla” shoot in May. After completing “Jilla”, Vijay will move to AR Murugadoss project and the plan remains unchanged. So now PVP cinemas who acquired the remake rights of “Baadshah” have to look out for another mass hero. We have to wait and see who will do this Blockbuster remake. Keep cross your fingers for few more days till official announcement.
