Toofan sensational pre release business
Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Bollywood debut movie �Zanjeer� which is made in Telugu version as �Toofan� is creating a sensation in its pre release business as well as satellite prices. As per the grapevine, it is heard that the movie’s satellite rights were bagged by Gemini TV fir 7 Crores.
This is an all time record price for any bilingual movie so far in Tollywood. On the other hand, the value of the AP’s theatrical rights of the movie reached to more than Rs.40 crores. Seductress Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra played the romantic interest of Ram Charan in this movie.
Ram Charan is seen as an aggressive cop in the movie. Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music of the film. Apoorva Lakhia is directing the movie while Amit Mehra is producing it in association with Reliance Entertainments. Buzzes are also spread in industry that Mega Star Chiranjeevi is playing the cameo role in this film.
Kodanda out of court!
It is well known that TJAC chief M Kodandaram, TRS MLAs Etela Rajender and Jupalli Krishna Rao and other eight members arrested on 21stMarch during ‘Sadak Bandh’. The Alampur court in Mahbubnagar district on Saturday evening granted bail to eight pro-Telangana leaders who were jailed for violating prohibitory orders to undertake ‘Sadak Bandh’ on the Hyderabad-Bangalore national highway on Thursday.
Out of Eleven members, Court granted bail for only eight members including TJAC chief Kodandaram. It may be recalled that the Mahbubnagar court had remanded them to judicial custody till April 4 and were shifted to the District Jail in Mahbubnagar town.

Sneha’s pregnancy problems
It is not that Sneha is pregnant and is finding it difficult to make it between personal and professional commitments. YVS spending money like water
Our readers are aware that Chiranjeevi’s nephew Sai Dharam Tej is making his debut in to Tollywood with YVS Chowdary directorial ‘Rey’. YVS had sent a press note saying that he recently canned the interval bang song of the movie in a specially erected set which costed 1 Crore to the makers. More than 50 dancers and 200 junior artists participated in this shoot which went on for 10 days. If true, this extravagant song will only further escalate the movie budget which will be difficult for a new comer at the box office.
Anyways, the movie shooting is complete except the climax song of the movie. YVS planing to release the movie in May as Summer special. Saiyami Kher is the first heroine, while Shraddha Das (of Arya2 and Mogudu fame) is playing second fiddle to Saiyami. Chakri is composing the music.
Rajasekhar’s box office troubles
One the angry young man of Tollywood, Rajasekhar had to wait for 2 years for the release of his recent movie, ‘Mahankali’. The movie took 2 years to clear all the financial tangles and see light. It did not bring respite to him even after the release having failed to even recover publicity costs. And now Rajasekhar is depending on director Teja to stage a comeback. The movie is going to be in the backdrop of a social problem just like Teja’s Nijam. The movie will be important to both of them as their careers are reeling under the pressure of heavy flops.
Teja is currently directing a movie titled ‘1000 abaddhalu’. He will begin the script work of this project after the release of 1000 abaddhalu and the movie is expected to go on to sets in the second half of the year.
NTR dubbing continuously for Baadshah
Young Tiger NTR is putting his head down and working hard to facilitate the in-time release of his Baadshah. He had began dubbing for the movie since yesterday and will wrap up the entire part by today night. Remaining artists have almost completed dubbing their parts. Hero Nandamuri Bala Krishna said he would be contesting to the Assembly in the 2014 elections.
Bala Krishna visited the Thalupulamma temple in Lavukotturu village of Tuni Mandal in east Godavari district on Saturday and performed special pujas. He spoke to the media on the occasion.
Stating that he was ready to contest from anywhere, Balayya said the party would decide about his constituency. He also made it clear that he was ready to work as an ordinary worker if the party directs him to do so. He moved about with his fans in the temple complex and posed for photographs.
No differences with Hari Krishna and NTR
Bala Krishna said he had no differences with his elder brother Hari Krishna or his son Jr. NTR. He said he would join the TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu in his ‘Vastunnaa Meekosam’ pada yatra.
