King Nagarjuna, Nayanatara’s family entertainer Greeku Veerudu which was released last week got good reviews from analysts and even people who watched were happy with the family entertainer.

However Dasarath’s Santosham kind of film did not bring any ‘santosham’ in the lives of buyers. Film unit was happy with the good talk even after collections are not that encouraging on the first day. They even planned for a success tour but they are surprised at collections not picking up even after the good talk.

Though King Nag attracted everyone’s attention with different getup and Nayanatara sizzled, no one showed interest in the film and even filmmakers did not generate interest with promos. Greeku Veerudu got shock in summer with Badshah and Gunde Jaari Gallantayyinde minting money at the box office. Analysts predict that the film can not even reach break even.

Shruti Hasan, the sizzling seductress of South and daughter of Kamal Hasan attained superstardom after romancing Power Star Pawan Kalyan in Gabbar Singh. Currently she is romancing NTR in Ramayya Vastavayya, Raviteja’s Balupu, Ram Charan’s Yevadu and Allu Arjun’s Race Gurram.

She decided to turn heat on by showing all her sensuous side with near porn poses in the latest Maxim India fashion magazine. The coverpage of Maxim shows Shruti in the most erotically sensuous demur. She exposed her cleavage and thighs in figure hugging inner wear.

Having tasted a big success through ‘Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde’, young hero Nitin is at cloud nine now. Currently he is touring different centers across the state to thank the audiences for making the movie a grand success. Incidentally, huge number Power Star pawan kalyan’s fans apart from Nitin’s fans are welcoming the young hero with great enthusiasm.

Recently, Nitin visited Karthika theater of Arasavelli in Srikakulam district. ‘GJG’ is running with good collections in the theater. Isha Talwar, one of the heroines of the movie was seen with him. Nitin thanked the audiences for making the movie a big success. Meanwhile, Nitya Menon was paired up with Nitin in the film. Anup Rubens scored the music of the movie. Vijaya Kumar Konda is directing the movie on Shresh Movies.

The Regional Censor Board in Hyderabad had completed the censor proceedings of Naga Chaitanya and Sunil starer Thadaka on Monday. The board members had recommended few minor cuts for the movie and the makers have agreed for it. The movie finally was given U/A certificate with this the movie is all set to hit the screens worldwide on May 10th. The movie is carrying a good talk.

The movie is the remake of Tamil super hit film, Vettai. Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam fame Dolly is directing this film. Brahmanandam, Ashutosh Rana are playing important roles for which music is scored by Thaman.  Bellamkonda Suresh is producing the film on Sri Sai Ganesh Productions banner.

Budget issues have always been a big headache to Tollywood filmmakers. Now noted director S.S. Rajamouli is also facing the same situation. His ambitious project ‘Baahubali’ movie has recently finished its script reading session and is all set to hit the floors but is getting delayed because of budget. Since the movie is planned to make with a whopping budget of 100 Crores,  Rajamouli is thinking of making the film in two parts. This plan of the director would not create any problem to the producer in terms of budget and will certainly create more hype to this film. So far it’s just a rumor in filmnagar but we never know.

The movie which is reportedly the biggest budget movie ever made in Telugu, will go on to sets this month. Anushka will be pairing with Prabhas in this movie for the third time after Billa and Mirchi. Rana is playing Prabhas’ brother in the movie. This project will be jointly produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under Arka Media banner and will be presented by K Raghavendra Rao. Keeravani will be scoring the music.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is always ahead among other superstars when it comes to charity and social work. His NGO ‘Being Human Foundation’ came up with many charity works in the past and is still continuing its social responsibility. Now news is that this NGO has adopted few villages in Maharashtra state and are reportedly providing water to these villages as they are drought affected ones. This NGO would supply 750 water tankers to Beed, 500 each to Osmanabad and Jalna, and 250 each to Aurangabad and Nanded as per the source of Beed Residential District Collector B M Kamble. Also the NGO has adopted 200 villages in the Aurangabad district which have been facing severe water scarcity.

This shows Salman is not just a superstar on screen but off screen too. Though Tollywood stars have done bit social work in the past but never been able to come up with such huge outline. Social responsibility adds extra color to the stardom apart from films.

Tamil film director Kalanjiyam filed a defamation suit against heroine Anjali.

He filed the petition in the Magistrate court at Salem. He said in his petition that Anjali’s remarks had hurt the sentiments of his supporters. The court which admitted the petition, has posted further hearing of the case to May 13.

It may be recalled that Anjali told the media that her aunt and Kalanjiyam have been harassing her. She also alleged that they were using her as ATM and using her hard-earned money for their luxuries.
