Sizzling seductress Samanta romanced Prince Mahesh Babu in Dookudu and Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. Both turned out to be sensational hits. Currently Mahesh is starring in a film titled Aagadu directed by Srinu Vytla.

Film makers in the beginning planned to repeat the hit pair and Samanta is over the moon and also started dreaming about scoring a hattrick with Prince Mahesh Babu which will be a rare record.

However now the unit members are having second thoughts about repeating the same pair as they are fearing monotony and are getting in touch with Parineeti Chopra. If Parineeti agrees then it will be like dreams crashing for Samantha.

Pawan Kalyan and Ramcharan are for now the top heroes from Mega camp who have built a strong BO fort with blessings of Fans. But, one more hero arriving from same camp happens to be sai dharamtej. Although, waiting for completion of shooting and release of ‘Rey’ in direction of YVS Chowdary, finally time seems to be running on his way with this proved director cum producer announcing the possible summer release.

‘After ‘Devadas’ and ‘Desamuduru;’ I haven’t seen any bigger and grand level films targeted only at youth. ‘Rey’ is a musical commercial love story made on a big scale. I can see a minimum of Rs.30 Crores business for this project after release,’ YVS was enough confident. If this number is achieved really by Sai then he will cross the first film benchmarks of Pawan and Charan because ‘Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi’ and ‘Chirutha’ were not sensational hits.

IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals owners Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra has been in news for all the wrong reasons now. The celebrity couple has been accused of cheating a person to the tune of Rs 8.05 lakhs and a complaint has been lodged with polio in this regard.

Anand Singh, who runs a private cricket academy ‘Jaipur Cricket Academy’, alleged that Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra has made false promises and cheated him.

According to Anand’s version. Rajasthan Royals manager Rajeev Khanna asked him to organize a talent hunt names as ‘Cricket Star Rajasthan’ in the year 2012 and Shilpa Shetty promised to pay Rs 250 per each participant. Based on the assurance, he arranged about 3,220 young players and the winner of the talent hunt Kumar Boresa was now a team member of Rajasthan Royals for IPL 6.

However, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra kept on making false promises every time the Anand brought the delay of payment to their notice, but after sometime they refused to pay him the amount. Finally, Anand approached the cops for justice.

Chiranjeevi’s daughter Susmita is once again in the news. Her father-in-law Shiva Prasad complained to the police that Rs. 12 lakhs was missing from the locker of his house.

He said one Chinnayya, a servant working with them for the past 5 years has been missing since three days and expressed doubts about him. Police are searching for him.

It may be recalled that it was in Shiva Prasad’s house that IT authorities found Rs. 39.66 crore earlier. Then reports said that it was the money sent by the Congress party for distribution in AP by-elections. Some said it was the black money of Chiranjeevi. Some how Chiranjeevi managed that the issue was subsided.

Story

Chandu (Nagarjuna) runs an event management company in USA. He values money and doesn’t believe in love or human relations. Sandhya ( Nayantara), a doctor committed to service. She works with the charitable organization ‘Make a Wish’. She believes in sentiments, relations and love.

Chandu travels to India to meet his grandparents and relatives for the first time to address and an unprecedented event occurred in USA. On his way to India, Chandu meets Sandhya who has conflicting views about life, get acquainted to each other. After meeting Sandhya and relatives in India, Chandu realises the value of human relations and importance of love.

What made Chandu to change his views on relations and love forms the crux of the story.

Performance
Nagarjuna, though slim and handsome looked bit old in the character. Nagarjuna failed to bring the right kind of emotions in key scenes. Except in Greeku Veerudu song, there are not many steps in choreography.

Nayantara looked dull in the movie. She too looked old and pale in close ups. Definitely her spark is missing in this film.

Meera Chopra role is very small and wouldn’t gain anything out of it. K Vishwanth is routine in grandfather role. Ashish Vidyarthi and Kota appear in negative roles.

Brahmanandam, M S Narayana and Dharmavarapu Subramanyam and Kovai Sarala entertain you in comedy roles. Rest of the supporting cast is okay.

Final Talk

Looks like, the wait is finally over if we have to be believe a gossip doing rounds in Film Nagar at the moment. The most powerful Baabai and Abbai of Tollywood are finally blurring differences to join hands, it appears.

The other day ace producer-director YVS Chowdary announced a sequel to his super hit flick ‘Laahiri Laahiri Laahirilo’ and ‘Seethayya’. It is already heard that in one of their sequels, Jr NTR will play the hero as per lobbying being done by YVS at the moment. But some folks are saying that YVS is in touch with Balayya too regarding a movie. They say that this director who happens to be hardcore fan of NTR wants to direct both Balayya and NTR in the sequel of ‘Laahiri..’, ‘Krishna Mukunda Murari’. In that case this will be the first time we will witness two Nandamuri heroes joining  hands for a mult-starrer that is no less than a blockbuster even before its release.

However chances for this project to materialize are quite slim if we look at the technical happenings. Jr NTR is busy for next two years with three projects, Ramayya Vastavayya, Rabhasa and Sukumar’s movie. Meanwhile by the time he completes those flicks, Balayya will get busier in state politics as elections will be wrapped up by then. So, when will they get time to act together? Only time will tell!

Manchu Vishnu, who is currently in Slovenia country shooting songs for his upcoming film ‘Doosukeltha’, is unable to walk in the evenings after the shoot. The reason behind this is, the ‘Denikaina Ready’ star is working hard on his dance moves under the supervision of choreographer Prem Rakshit master. Seems like Prem Rakshit has composed some difficult dance moves and Vishnu appears to be sweating out and breaking his bones to get them perfect on screen. “I am very close of hating dance master Prem Raksith. I am barely able to walk in the evenings after shoot with him,” tweeted Vishnu.

Andhala Rakshasi fame Lavanya is pairing up with Vishnu in this movie. This project will be produced by Vishnu himself on his 24 frames factory banner. Sarvesh Murari is handling the camera while ‘Melody Brahma’ Mani Sharma is composing music. Mohan Babu will be presenting it. More details on this project later.

Seldom do we hear that teacher wants to learn from his disciple. One such instance has happened in Tollywood. Veteran director K Raghavendra Rao is extremely pleased with S S Rajamouli that he wants to work as assistant director under Rajamouli. When Rajamouli narrated Baahubaali’s story, K Raghavendra Rao was thrilled and immediately expressed his desire to watch and learn for Rajamouli. Such is the humility of the veteran director. Rajamouli started his career as an assistant to Raghavendra Rao. Today Rajamouli is one of the most sought after director in Tollywood.

The movie which is reportedly the biggest budget movie ever made in Telugu, will go on to sets in May. Anushka will be pairing with Prabhas in this movie for the third time after Billa and Mirchi. Rana is playing Prabhas’ brother in the movie. This project will be jointly produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under Arka Media banner and will be presented by K Raghavendra Rao. Keeravani will be scoring the music.

Taking a cue from Bollywood films, Rajamouli had added a song ‘Anaganaganaga’ during the end credits of his Magadheera movie. The song made everybody sit in the hall and watch the behind screen stars. Now this trend is being followed by none other than Ram Charan’s brother-in-law Allu Arjun. In his upcoming film ‘Iddarammayilatho,’ ‘Top Lechipoddi’ song will feature all the crew members of the film including producer Bandla Ganesh, director Puri Jagannadh etc. Well, we have to see whether other makers will also catch this trend or not.

The movie will hit the screens on May 23rd. Puri Jagannadh who earlier delivered a super hit to Bunny in the form of Desamudhuru is the director of this film.. The film is being produced by Bandla Ganesh under Parameswara Arts banner. Devi Sri Prasad is the music composer.
