Forbes India had released a list of outstanding performances in 100 years of Indian cinema. And in the list of 25, there is only one Telugu actor in the list. Guess who? NTR, ANR, Krishna, Sobhan, Chiranjeevi…? Not at all. It is Somayajulu’s performance in Shankarabharanam. He stood in the list of Forbes’s “25 Greatest Acting Performances of Indian Cinema”.

‘Sankarabharanam’ was released in the year 1979 but the movie started slow at box office. As the positive talk generated the movie made it big at box office and also won four National Film Awards, five Nandi Awards and Somayajulu won Filmfare award in Best actor category.

Director meher ramesh might have been in a deep shock as his latest offering ‘Shadow’ is likely to taste a disaster result at the box office. His poor execution of the film has been highly criticized by the critics. Apparently, the impact of the ‘Shadow’ has fallen on Meher’s next project. meher ramesh was earlier supposed to direct a movie in the combo of Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja and the title itself has tentatively been confirmed as ‘Power’. Welfare Creations, who were supposed to produce this movie, have reportedly dropped the idea of making this movie. Perhaps, the result of ‘Shadow’ made them to take such as crucial decision.
