Notices issued against 9 MLAs
The nine MLAs include, Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, S Krishna Ranga Rao, Alla Nani, Dwarampudi, Jogi Ramesh, M Rajesh, Sivaprasad, G Ravikumr and Perni Nani. Now the ball is in the Speaker�s court.
On hearing from the members he can take a decision to disqualify them which will force another by-election. The issue can be kept pending for some more time and with general elections due in next year, there must be a minimum gap of six months for by-elections and the general elections due date.
Sonam’s friends angry at her
The actress is also working on Yash Raj Films’ untitled project with Ayushmann Khurrana, for which she was shooting in the capital. “I have a long list of complaints from my friends. I have been in Delhi since the beginning of this year. I was shooting ‘Raanjhanaa’ and then YRF’s untitled next with Ayushmann,” said Sonam in a statement.
But the 27-year-old is enjoying her work.”Even now that I am back, after a day’s break, I started shooting for the last schedule of ‘Raanjhanaa’. I have been juggling between sets. It’s been very hectic, but I am enjoying it,” she said.
TRS demands resignation of Ponnala
A delegation of TRS leaders inspected various villages including Jangaon, Raghunathpally and Khilashpur to study the prevalent drought conditions. Talking to reporters later, TRS floor leader Etela Rajender said that crops spread over hundreds of acres have dried up due to erratic supply of water and electricity.
Referring to the challenge posed by the IT Minister stating that he would quit from the post even if one acre of land had dried up in his constituency, the TRS leader said that the minister should accompany TRS delegation to witness the dried up lands and as offered, he should resign from his post.
Police foil TDP MLA�s diksha
TDP senior MLAs Motkupalli Narasimhulu and Yerrabelli Dayakara Rao expressed their ire at the government for arresting them at midnight, when they were fighting on people�s problems. They made it clear that they would intensify the agitation, by launching fasts in all the mandal headquarters on Saturday.
It may be recalled that 29 public representatives including MLAs, MLCs and a Rajya Sabha member have been fasting since four days. The health of two women MLAs Vimalakka and Satyavati Rathod totally deteriorated on Friday itself.
