Collection King’s cheap tricks

Share
Collection King Mohan Babu is known for his adamant ways. Many times he lashed out at his own colleagues courting controversies and is always remembered for slapping his daughter and dragging her in full media gaze when she was about to get married to her lover. Even telangana agitation was at his peak, he invited the wrath of telangana people by organizing a press conference and lashing out at the protesters and even daring to confront them.

Now recently his son Vishnu who was starved of success, finally scored a decent hit with ‘Denikaina Ready’. However the film plunged into controversy with Brahmin Organisations protesting against some objectionable scenes in the film. Instead of trying to solve the problem amicably, Mohan Babu producer of the film, made fun of them saying they were not real Brahmins and they came only for alms like beggars.

As if this was not enough his son Vishnu attacked them when they were protesting in front of the house. Now yesterday Mohan Babu in his house organized a press meet with Brahmins coming from Tamil Nadu who sang praises about him. They said Mohan Babu never hurt anyone’s feelings and found fault with Brahmin organizations for doing ‘Pinda Pradanam’ to him. Many feel Collection King is only precipitating the matter rather than trying to solve the issue amicably.

Did Manisharma target Lawrence?

Share
Not many people know about the fact that Music Composer Manisharma is one of the most out-spoken person in the Industry. Here is the taste of that personality …

On the item number in his film Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum: “Even though it’s an item song, there is still melody in it and no scope for noise.”

On ‘lifetime of film songs coming down drastically’: “That’s true. We can’t find the soul in the music and many of the songs are lifeless. Few producers were of the opinion that if the songs could be in the market for two weeks, it’s more than enough.”

When asked his if any of the Dance Masters has demanded him to compose the tunes based on their steps, Mani shot back,”I work with Directors, not Dance Masters. Who are they to say how the songs should be! The steps should be composed based on the song, not vice versa. On this issue, I had fight with dance masters in the past. That’s why they don’t approach me.”

Industry folks have been saying that Manisharma indirectly targeted Lawrence who demanded him to change the tune to match his steps for Chirutha’s Ossosi Rakasi song.

Hot Actress is a Call Girl, not Sex Worker

Actresses picking up bold roles to garner the attention of film lovers when their career hits an all time low isn’t a new trend. Buxom babe Charmee who isn’t in her best form off late too choose the same path.

Charmee, however, condemns the reports in circulation that she will be seen as a sex worker in one of her upcoming films and clarifies it’s the role of a call girl. “I am playing a call girl, not a sex worker. I’m not interested in portraying the stereotypical prostitute who enters into this business to look after her family, So I had turned down several such offers in the past. I took up this role as it’s different from what others had done upto now and that’s what attracted me,” she clarifies, saying call girl is self-employed and sex worker is an employee.

The actress will be seen in the role of Mallika who is independent and unapologetic of what she has been doing. Bold films like Chandini Bar and Chameli has given a lot of recognition for actress Tabu and Kareena. Let’s see if Charmee too enters the same league!

Nandamuri Taraka Ratna is now the talk of town for the kind of roles he is accepting. On one hand he is acting as a ‘Drama Artist’ in ‘Mike Testing 143’ movie, while he is playing a funny Yamudu in ‘Nenu Chala Worst’ and a lover boy role in ‘Vijetha’ movie. Even though NTR had no hits and mettle proving, he seems quite lucky to get roles with such variations. Can he deliver at least single hit with any one of them?
