Nandamuri fans and masses go wild when Nandamuri Balakrishna delivers powerful dialogues on silver screen. However for long he has been quiet and many wondered what happened to the silver screen simha. When fans expected their hero will be in full swing to score century on silver screen before entering politics in style, Balakrishna suddenly became silent. He is just confined to his house and only couple of days back made public appearance at the audio function of ‘Okkadine’ starring Nara Rohit.

Though he delighted all referring to his pet dream project ‘Nartanasala’ and saying Nitya Menon would be best suited for Draupadi’s role after the sudden demise of Soudarya, which resulted in shelving of the project, his speech contained political overtures. This is making everyone believe that Natasimha is rearing to roar as political simha. Speaking at the function he said film industry and for that matter any arts doesn’t distinguish between language and region. He even spoke for few minutes in tamil.

Many felt that he is planning to take telangana militant outfit TRS which recently attacked the film ‘Cameraman Gangato Rambabau’. Now one is left to wonder whether Balayya will score century or not.

Lakshmi Manchu comes in support of CMGR

Looks like Manchu Lakshmi has taken a cue from her father in speaking straight out of her heart. The anchor of a media-house that aggressively supports Telangana agitation tried to project that Rambabu movie is a sin, before asking Lakshmi to respond about it.

‘Movies are meant to create sensationalism. Even media reads, even you (the anchor, a popular lady news reader) read all normal heading as sensational stuff. So what is wrong if a straight forward guy like Puri tells what he is thinking in his mind?’ asked Lakshmi Manchu.

She even went on saying ‘Watch movies for entertainment, but don’t pick them as your weapons to get political mileage. About the issues in the flick Rambabu, take them on lighter vein (light teeskondi)’.

Vishnu very happy for Damarukam postponement

Wonder how Manchu Vishnu is related to the release or postponement of Damarukam. Here we go. When Manchu Vishnu was planning the release of Denikaina Ready on 24th October, almost all the theaters in AP were booked for Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu and Damarukam. With Damarukam getting postponed, Exhibitors have come forward to offer theaters for the movie and even went on to agree to the terms of Denikaina Ready makers to have feeding in Dussehra season.

With this unexpected twist, Denkaina Ready is all set to have the biggest release in Vishnu’s career.

Puri all set to join YSRC !

Deccan Chronicle had published a story on Monday about the possibility of director Puri Jagannadh joining YS Jagan led YSR Congress Party. The paper had reported that he is trying for Anakapalle seat in his home-town Narsipatnam falls. Puri Jagan’s brother is active member of YS Jagan’s party and YS Jagan’s mother Vijayamma and sister Sharmila stayed at Puri Jagan’s residence at his native village near Narsipatnam during their Odarpu Yatra some months ago.

However, Puri did not approve or condemn these reports, He even went on to bunk yesterday’s press meet even though it was held at his office instead distributor Dil Raju and producer Danayya spoke.

Naayak wraps up Kolkata schedule

Ram Charan’s upcoming film Nayak had completed a fortnight long schedule in Kolkata.A heavy action episode scenes on Ram Charan, Dev Gil, Rajeev Kanakala and others in this schedule that took place Chhotelal Ghat near the Mullickghat flower market and various other areas since a fortnight.

Directed by V V Vinayak, the film stars Ram Charan in dual roles and Kajal and Amala Paul are playing the lead roles opposite Ram Charan. DVV Danayya is producing the film on Universal Media banner. The film is being touted as a thorough entertainer. S S Thaman has scored the music. The film is expected to hit the screens early next year.

Lakshmi Bomb on Mohan Babu’s head

We are not talking about the Diwali season Lakshmi bomb. Its Censor Board officer Dhana Lakshmi. Manchu Vishnu’s Denikaina Ready was screened to the Censor on Friday. The board had recommended 6 cuts and awarded U/A certificate but the regional board chief Dhana Lakshmi said she’d give the certificate only after seeing the film again. When the makers approached her on Monday with the cuts, she went on reviewing the movie with other team and then recommended 20 more cuts. Mohan Babu will go to Review Committee challenging these cuts. If the Censor certificate can not come today, the movie can not release on 24th.

So Mohan Babu is angry with her that he is planning to file a case against her and informed the media that the officer is indulging in blackmail tactics.

Amala desires to be trend setter

TRS to rethink its strategies !

KCR and TRS might have never expected in the wildest of dreams that political scenario in Telangana will be changing so quickly. The complete turn around in Telangana region came as a shock to them. When Chandra Babu planned to enter Telangana region as a part of his padayatra, TRS announced that it would oppose him tooth and nail and will not allow him to enter the region unless until he clarifies his stand on telangana. Many thought that TRS along with TJAC known for their violent ways will be successful in their attempts.However when Babu awas accorded grand reception in Mahaboobnagar in the heart of Telangana, TRS leaders went into hiding. Now they are even giving statements that after Dasara they will target Cong.

Political analysts feel that it is remarkable change in TRS strategy as from the beginning it has been going soft on Cong though there was no action from their end but went hammer and tongs on Babu. Now TRS and its supporting organizations like TJAC morale went sagging and they are even questioning when a leader like Babu who is for united andhra gets such welcome, where is the sentiment of Telangana.Babu from the beginning adopted Palamuru of Mahaboobnagar district and worked for the abolishment of patel-patvari rule. Now the people thronged to see Babu and watching this TRS and TJAC backtracked as they turned dumbstruck.

Chandra Babu Naidu who is on padayatra saying ‘Vasutnna mee kosam’ across the state entered Telangana yesterday. While everyone expected that he would face severe opposition from the people of Telangana, to the shock of all telangana playaers he infact received grand welcome. Buoyed by the success of his yatra and the overwhelming response Babu promised many boons to the poor and down trodden. He said once he return back to power, his first job is to sign on the file, thus fulfilling his promise.

But those who have observed Babu feel that he is giving boons and promises left right and center without even considering the feasibility of his promises. It is a known fact that the current treasury situation and financial condition of Govt is quite bad and each and everyday Govt is squeezing people with one or other form of taxes. It wont be any different for who ever comes to power. Infact it will be quite difficult to head the Govt and rule the state in the present circumstances.

Many people are left wondering on which file Babu will sign first because everywhere he is promising that he will do this and that and he would sign on their file first when he comes to power.

Some advocate they can join coaching session and get trained on this professor on how to handle controversies.

Puri Jagannath recently burnt his hands with ‘Cameraman Gangato Rambabu’ while Pawan burnt his hands twice with ‘Komaram Puli’ and now with ‘Cameraman’.However if one goes through the history of RGV’s film making he courted many controversies. His films like Raktha Charitra, Katha Screenplay Direction Appalaraju, ‘Bezawada’ attracted attention and attacks from political parties and fans alike. His recent films ’26/11 attacks’ and ‘Reddygaru Poyaru’ is also under media fire. Even with all this he managed to prevent attacks on him.

Personal attacks may backfire on Babu

TDP cadre and its leadership is adopting belligerent posture against YSRCP and its party leaders Vijayamma and Sharmila. It seems going by their responses they never expected Sharmila to take the counter yatra and feel that entire attention is focused on her since she being a woman. As such its Vijayawada MLC Rajendra Prasad in Vijayawada released a CD alleging that Vijayamma by carrying bible is indulging in mass conversions where ever she goes.

Today TDP’s firebrand leader Shobha Rani sought to nail Sharmila by questioning how her first husband lost his life. Whether it was an accident or she herself murdered him. She went on to question whether Brother Anil’s first wife was forced for divorce. Till recently Babu and other leaders of TDP concentrated on YS.Jagan and used to attack him personally.

However now that Jagan in jail and he is facing stiff competition from two women Vijayamma and Sharmila, he and his party couldn’t digest it anymore and are launching vitriolic personal attacks. Political analysts however feel that personal attacks that too on women backfire on Chandra Babu and all the good work of his padayatra would be undone. It is better for him to focus on peoples problems than on other leaders.

They cite that only by carrying out slanderous personal attacks on YS.Jagan they increased his popularity. Now by carrying out attacks on YSR who is still popular with people and his family, Babu is repeating the same mistake.

‘Cameraman’ tears for whom?

Pawan Kalyan in his own imitable manner delivered powerful performance as a reporter Rambabu in ‘Cameraman Gangato Ramababu’ directed by maverick Puri Jagannath who proved himself as a successful ‘Business Man’. Thanks to Pawan mania and ‘Gabbar Singh’ grandness the film opened to sky rocketing collections. However controversy plunged the film in deep crisis and now after the Govt committee cuts, it has to be seen for whom ‘Cameraman’ is presenting tears.

Pawan Kalyan-He is off in a flash and flew to foreign even prior to the release of the film. As such though his reputation has taken a beating, it will be rising again as was seen during Komaram Puli case. So he did not make any losses.Many allege it was he who was behind this story.

Tamanna-Milky beauty Tamanna though got negative reviews for her role, won thumbs up for her beauty treat from masses though they were disappointed that she danced only in three songs.

Puri Jagannath-He drew most flak for directing this film fully aware of the story. There were allegations that due to his close links with YSRCP chief YS.Jagan, he made this film. However he was heard commenting that it was Pawan who insisted on the plot and he just penned the dialogues. He did not make much loss as he received his remuneration.

Danayya and Dil Raju-Dil Raju suffered the most and also the distributors and exhibitors in telangana region due to the controversy. It has to be seen how they will be compensated in the whole issue. On the positive side the film got immense media attention but overseas reports also suggest that all is not well even there.

Smitten by Saree Clad Villains

Film makers try new ways to entertain movie lovers and fans with their movies. They take special care to attract them with sensational and stunning stunts, breathtaking dances etc. Off late however film makers seems to have been fascinated and smitten by saree clad villains and their stunts. It all started with Raghava Lawrence who in his super hit ‘Kanchana’ used these saree clad villains in the climax of the film.

It looked new as movie lovers started raving about the climax. In the midst of it Raghava Lawrence, who was still in love with ‘Kanchana’ and who is planning to take a sequel for the film, used saree clad villains in his recent venture with ‘Rebel’. The film featuring Prabhas is a high voltage action entertainer and could have done with out the saree clad baddies. However Lawrence included them just due to his love for them though the climax had even foreign firangis thrashing Prabhas black and blue.

One can understand Lawrence as he hails from Kollywood. However even our own Puri Jagannath used the same formula in his powerful media entertainer ‘Cameraman Gangato Rambabu’ which is now in controversies. One wonder what was the need for Puri show his love for sari clad villains. Now it has to be seen who else will be showcasing their love for these saree clad villains.

After drawing huge flak for staying away from media, sexy seductress Kajal Agarwal has finally opened up her mouth to clear the doubts that are surrounding her exit from Superstar’s movie.

A couple of media houses have quoted that as Kajal Agarwal is unable to dance perfectly aside Superstar Mahesh, she is sent out of that flick. Rubbishing those reports as rumours, Kajal says that she has nothing to prove with her dance, but the issue is about dates.

Speaking in an interview she said, I recently read an article on how I was dropped from a film because I couldn’t dance! It was so ridiculous that I decided to shut up about it. Let people say what they want to. It’s such a waste of time,” she says.

Yash Chopra – King of Romance is no more!

Director Yash Chopra who directed several monumental movies in Hindi had breathed his last in Mumbai. He has died of multiple organ failure in Mumbai at the age of 80. He had been in hospital being treated for dengue since October 13. He is survived by wife Pamela and sons Aditya and Uday.

Yash Chopra’s 22nd film as director, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma will release on November 13. He had announced his retirement from directing on his 80th birthday. It is said that he did not see his last film playing in theaters.

Ravi Teja says okay to Puri’s request

He requested him for a special role in Sai Ram Shankar’s Romeo. He will been seen in an important cameo, which would be crucial to the film.

Puri Jagan himself had scripted the story of Romeo which is directed by Gopi Ganesh. Adonika is casted opposite Sairam Shankar in this romantic love story set in Europea. Sunil Kasyap has scored the music and Valluripalli Ramesh is the producer.

Brahmi’s son becomes Alexander!

He is all set to team up with Baanam fame Chaitanya Danthuluri for his next film. Baanam was a critically acclaimed film which launched the careers of Chaitanya Dantuluri and Nara Rohit. However, Chaitanya took a long break after the release of that film. In between, there were rumours that he might direct a film with Anushka in lead role in a movie titled Rampachodavaram but the film failed to take off. The title of the movie is going to be announced on 24th October on the occasion of Gautam’s wedding.
