AP gets amazing recognition

Andhra Pradesh for long has been a neglected lot at Union Govt and in cabinet portfolios and expansions. Many times state media used to predict some portfolios to seniors but they were insulted repeatedly. Even when the state played key role in Govt formation sending 33 cong MPs, nothing substantial happened to State. Instead the state plunged into telangana problem. People used to express their anger that proper representation is not there at center and these spineless MPs are only showing their loyalty to Sonia and not to State to get personal favors.

But for the first time in the history of Independent India, AP is going to get amazing recognition. State will be having 10 Ministers in the Union Cabinet. Sonia and Cong High Command is keen on erasing the allegation that the state is getting step motherly treatment and in its bid to stem the party’s rot in the state due to Jagan and Telangana factor, it is doling out favors.

At 11.30AM today Chiranjeevi, Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy, Balaram Nayak, Killi Kruparani,Sarve Satyanarayana will be taking oath as cabinet ministers. Current Ministers Pallam Raju, Purandeeswari will also be becoming full flegded Cabinet Ministers getting promotions from Ministers of state.However all this did not go down well with the seniors in the state who are making alternate arrangements as they did not get the desired recognition in the party.

Selfish CBN played spoil sport?

TDP supremo Chandra Babu Naidu is hailed as a keen strategist and modern day ‘Chanakya’. However it seems his selfish intentions are playing spoil sport with the fortunes of the party at the crucial juncture. He in his bid to stem the sagging morale of the party cadre and instill fresh lease of life in the run up to 2014 elections, undertook 117 day padayatra. He did not make anyone part of his padayatra except for his son Lokesh. He wantonly kept aside Nandamuri family members. Couple of days back he was hurt while the stage he was standing collapsed and many fell on him. Now CBN announced that based on the doctors advice he would decide whether to continue his yatra or not.

Many feel had Naidu took proper care and steps this situation wouldn’t have arose. He should have played the role of mentor and allowed Balakrishna, Harikrishna, Jr.NTR and other family members, his son Lokesh take yatra from each and every corner of the state and he joining them and address various gatherings. However his selfish intentions and fear of losing entire credit undid him in. Now it has to be seen if Babu is unable to continue his yatra, who will take lead in the completion of the yatra and will Babu allow it to happen.

Chetan Bhagat to script Screenplay for Hindi Kick

Chetan Bhagat, the authors of popular books like Five Point Some one, A Night at the Call Center is all set to turn screenplay writer for the latest Salman Khan-starrer film, to be directed by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film is a remake of Telugu film Kick (2009), starring Ravi Teja and Ileana, directed by Surender Reddy.

“Happy to share with you that I’ll be writing the screenplay of ‘Kick’ starring Salman Khan and directed by Sajid Nadiadwala” (sic), Chetan posted on his Twitter page. His bestseller novel, Five Point Some One inspired Bollywood’s biggest blockbuster film 3 Idiots.

NTR to meet injured Chandra Babu today

NTR took a break from his busy schedule and rushed to inquire about the condition of TDP Supremo and his uncle N. Chandrababu Naidu who escaped with minor bruises Friday night when the dais at a public meeting collapsed.

The incident took place at Gadwal town in Mahabubnagar district when Naidu was addressing the meeting. The TDP chief and some other leaders received minor bruises. Later, Naidu complained of severe back pain and doctors advised him immediate rest.

NTR fights for Baadshah introduction

The introduction fight of NTR’s upcoming film Baadshah is currently being shot at Aluminium Factory, Gachibowli under the action choreography of Vijay Master. A special set is erected for this purpose there. It’s going to be one of the major highlights of the film.

Kajal Aggarwal is playing NTR’s love interest in this action entertainer. Navdeep is playing a crucial role and Kelly Dorjee is the main villain. Bandla Ganesh is producing the film and Kona Venkat, Gopi Mohan are also part of the core team, along with S S Thaman. The film is expected to hit the screens on March 28, 2013.

Tamannah bags one more Bollywood project

Tamannaah who is currently pairing up with Ajay Devagan in Himmatwala had bagged one more offer in Bollywood. She’s going to be the female lead in a movie titled Heropanti with which Tiger Shroff, son of Jackie Shroff is making his Bollywood debut. Sajid Nadiawala, a leading producer, is going to produce the film and Sabbir Khan is going to direct it.

It’s being touted as a mass entertainer. In Telugu, she’ll soon be seen in the remake of Vettai which has Naga Chaitanya and Sunil in lead roles. Tamannaah has also been approached for the remake of Tagore in Hindi.

Actor Nani to wed today

Here is a surprise news for all the fans of Nani. The actor is getting wed a month in advance. The ceremony will take place in a private resort in Vishakapatnam with very few friends and relatives.

The wedding was actually scheduled to take place on November 24 but the wedding date was advanced due to a family obligation. The new date was decided only two days ago after both the families agreed. In fact, very few people from the industry have been invited to the wedding. Sources close to the actor say that Nani might host a reception for industrywallas a little later. We wish Nani a very happy married life.

Cherry’s Bollywood stumbling blocks

Ram Charan Teja is planning for a powerful Bollywood entry reprising Big B Amitabh’s role in the remake of yesteryear classic ‘Zanjeer’. Cherry will be seen as powerful police officer who take on the thugs and to the top of it he will also be sizzling with his sensational dancing steps which are new to Bollywood movie lovers. However he is facing stumbling blocks in his entry with two biggies standing in his way to stardom.

It is a known fact that in the original Pran played the cunning and vicious villain Pathan Sher Khan. The film makers planned to cast Sanjay Dutt in the remake but when he backed out, Arjun Rampal was selected. However even that did not work out and Sonu Sood was shortlisted. Now suddenly Sunju Baba showed interest in the project and film makers and director Apurva Lakhia finalized Sanjay for the hindi remake. He however decided not to disappoint Sonu and will be casting him in telugu version.

As such now Cherry will have to deal not one but two stumbling blocks in from of Sunju Baba and Sonu Sood. It has to be seen how he will overcome these two towering and handsome personalities. Cherry however is not worried and is over the moon that he will be sharing screen presence with Sanjay Dutt who happens to be his gym mate. Fans are however eagerly waiting for the big bash in Bollywood.

This prompted him to enter into distribution of films and though for some time it prospered well,since he did not plan his entry in a professional manner, at present he drowned himself in losses.

Film nagar sources say that all the profits he earned in film making evaporated as he invested lavishly in distribution. Buzz is he had to spend more than 40crs for Damarukam. To the top of it Autonagar Surya is under production. As it this is not enough, Dr.Venkat even decided to invest in SV.Krishna Reddy’s hollywood flick ‘Divorce Invitation’. Many say lots of crores have been blocked in that project. Many say the reason behind Damarukam’s problem is mostly due to financial problems of RR.Movie Makers coming due to the fact that all the funds getting blocked in ‘Divorce Invitation’. They are questioning angrily whether only those 40lakhs deepam connection holders bought them to power with their votes. They are strongly opposing the decision of CM Kiran and Civil Supplies Minister D.Sridhar Babu’s decision to make available the extra 3 cylinders facility only to deepam people.

More than 50% of deepam connections are in the hands of political leaders though they have records that all those have been distributed to poor people. Though records state that, subscription vouchers are with political leaders who allocated them on benami names. So poor should run after these political thugs for new connections, refills to avail these benefits.So to satisfy all these political leaders,CM restricted allocation of cylinders only to Deepam inspite of Sonia’s advice.

Comedy King bent on making people cry

Natakireeti Rajendra Prasad is well known for his reputation in Tollywood as Comedy King. Even the then Prime Minister PV.Narasimha Rao confessed that to relieve off pressure he used to watch Rajendra Prasad’s films. It was a huge compliment for him and from then on his stardom rose like never before. However after biding good bye to lead roles, he is seen trying different genre of roles deviating from his forte, hilarious roles.
In some ways he emerged successful with the films like ‘Aa Naluguru’ and more recently with ‘Onamalu’. These films sent strong message to society and people were left pondering after watching the films. When everyone started forgetting his forte, Julaayi came in which he was seen at his entertaining best. Credit goes to Trivikram Srinivas for casting Rajendra Prasad in the film.

However it seems Rajendra Prasad is not keen on roles like hilarious entertainers and seems to be hell bent on making people cry. He recently came with Dreams which was a torture to movie lovers. Exodus from Cong soon?

Every political party will face the problem of disgruntled leaders while allotting cabinet posts during expansion. It seems even Cong is not immune to it and many political analysts predict that cabinet expansion at center may definitely witness exodus from the party to others parties in Andhra Pradesh. There are many senior most leaders in Cong in the state and everytime cabinet expansion happens, they will be waiting expectantly for the high commands’ call only to be disappointed at the end. Over the past few years, Cong leadership at center ignored state leaders taking refuge in telangana tangle. However this time it seems it has decided to induct Chiranjeevi,.Kotla Surya Prakash Reddy and Balaram Nayak in the cabinet.

Already seniors in the party are voicing their opinion against the other two Surya Prakash and Balaram and questioning how could high command select juniors while ignoring seniors in the party. Many are even making their preparations to jump to YSRCP which is a strong force in the state at present. They feel that since their services over the years are not rewarded in the party and with the party’s position not so good in the state, it is better to look for alternatives. It has to be seen who will leave the party after cabinet expansion.

TRS sending love signals toTDP?

In politics there are no permanent enemies or friends. It all boils down to how much political gain a leader can make and also the party he leads can garner. KCR led TRS from the beginning clarified its stand on mergers and alliances that it would associate with any political party which would support its cause for the formation of telangana. As such it entered into alliance with Cong in 2004 and KCR even became Union Minister during that time. He after hard bargaining included Telangana formation in presidential address to parliament during that time.

However he realized his delusion and in 2009 he shook hands with TDP and fought the elections. But even before the results are out he joined hands with BJP but fell flat during that time. From then on he has been trying his best to achieve telangana and even put merger proposal at Sonia Gandhi and Cong. But after he was cold shouldered he is cooling his heels and with him not opposing Babu’s entry into telangana many are feeling that he is keen to strike alliance with TDP and see the end of Cong in the next elections. It has to be seen what’s going on in KCR’s mind as he is known for springing surprises.

Secret behind family heroes fading

Tollywood is blessed with family heroes who used to entertain movie lovers with their neat action unlike mass heroes who dole out high voltage mass entertainers. Top among the list include Srikanth and Jagapathy Babu. However of late both these heroes are fast fading into oblivion with lack of offers. While Jagapathy Babu recently featured in Vikram’s Siva Tandavam and recently came with a thriller ‘6’ both failed to attract movie lovers. Similar is the case with Srikanth who shares good relation with all top stars. Srikanth featured in Balakrishna’s Sri Rama Rajyam and prior to that came with Jagapathy Babu saying ‘All The Best’. All the Best went with out any trace while he is all set to try his luck with Devaraya and Lucky.

Many movie lovers feel that top stars are responsible for lack of opportunities for talented stars like Srikanth and Jagapathy Babu. Even in guest and special roles they themselves try to act or some kollywood heroes will find their way. More recently Venkatesh is doing special role in Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum, Raviteja is offering special treat in Sai Ram Shankar’s ‘Romeo’, while Navdeep is featuring in ‘Badshah’, ‘Nara Rohit in ‘Sir Ostara’. Had film makers considered Jagapathy Babu and Srikanth their situation wouldn’t have been such pathetic.

Can Mega Star ensure Mega Victory

Congress High Command and its president Sonia Gandhi for what ever best reasons known to them is having high hopes on Mega Star Chiranjeevi bringing the party back to Power. Stage is all set for Mega Star joining Union Cabinet in couple of days from now. But one question that is doing rounds in peoples mind is whether Mega Star can ensure Mega Victory for Cong party at Center and State.

Many of his supporters in Cong Party and those who are against CM Kiran are of the opinion that only when Chiranjeevi is given full power, he can ensure Cong victory and save sinking party from drowning completely. Sources however say, Cong is just keeping its promise to Chiranjeevi, when he merged his party with it and nothing should be read in between.

Cong tested Megastar’s power when it assigned him poll campaigning in last elections in Tamil Nadu. However he tasted failure and even in by elections he couldn’t ensure victory in his Tirupathi constituency. It has to be seen how successful he will be in his upcoming assignments.If he atleast helps the party in retaining atleast half the seats in AP then his reputaion will be in tact.

Sonu Sood in Telugu version of Zanjeer remake!

The latest buzz in the industry is that Sonu Sood has been roped in for the Telugu version of Zanjeer. The Hindi version is being made simultaneously, which will have Sanjay Dutt essaying the iconic role of Sher Khan, which was essayed by veteran actor Pran in the 1973’s hit ‘Zanjeer’.

Being directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film stars Ram Charan Teja who will step into the shoes of Amitabh Bachchan for the remake. Priyanka will reprise Jaya Bachchan’s role of Mala in the revenge drama.Prakash Mehra had directed and produced the original “Zanjeer” and when it released in 1973, its stupendous success catapulted Amitabh into stardom.

Samantha confirmed for Pawan Kalyan’s next

After a lot of dilly dallying, the makersof Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming movie had confirmed Samantha as the female lead in the movie to be directed by Trivikram Srinivas. Although Nithya Menen’s name was heard in media, it is finally, Samantha who grabbed the lucky chance. The script for the untitled film is ready and will go on to sets in November after Pawan Kalyan returns from his holiday trip.

BVSN Prasad is producing this film under his Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra banner. Reliance Entertainments is co producing the movie. Devi Sri Prasad is scoring the music.

Venky and Ram team up for Bol Bachchan remake

Senior Producer Sravanthi Ravi Kishore had bagged the Telugu remake rights of Abhishek Bachchan’s Bol Bachchan. He had reportedly roped in Ram and Venkatesh to star in the movie. Bol Bachchan is a 2012 Bollywood action comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty, and featuring Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgn in lead roles. The film, itself is an official remake of the popular 1979 film Gol Maal.

It is not yet clear who is going to direct the movie. Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu had resumed the trend of multistarers in the industry and Venkatesh is now taking it a step further with this movie. Ravi Kishore last produced Ram’s Endhukante Premanta and lost decent amount of money. So, he is very ambitious about this project.

Promo song for Ram Charan’s Zanjeer

Ram Charan’s Bollywood debut movie “Zanjeer” will have a promotional song with Priyanka Chopra and Ram Charan featuring in it which will be shot in January 2013. The makers are not mixing any songs from the original version. It will be altogether a fresh song.The next schedule of the movie will take place in Hyderabad from the mid of November. It’s a 20-day schedule. Later the unit will come back to Mumbai for one more schedule in December.

SVSC director impresses NTR

Director Srikanth Addala who had resumed the trend of multistarers in Tollywood with Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu starring Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu had reportedly impressed Young Tiger NTR. He reportedly narrated the subject to NTR and the actor was said to be impressed. SVSC is all set to release on December 21st and Srikanth will start preparing the complete bound script for NTR movie. More details on this project later.

NTR is currently busy with Baadshah and the regular shooting of his next movie with Harish Shankar also will begin soon.
