YSR.Supporters and YSRCP leaders hail their party chief YS.Jagan Mohan Reddy, son of late YS.Rajasekhar Reddy as the most clean political leader who fight for the cause of people and go to any extent without budging on his word even if it means going to jail. He came out of Congress to prove these qualities and went on the so called ‘Odarpu Yatra’-“Condolence Yatra’ to console people who lost their kith and kin after hearing the news of sudden demise of YSR.

His opponents launch a scathing attack on Jagan holding him responsible for the present state of politics in AP and the condition of the sate and accuse him of indulging in quid pro qo acts when his father was the CM. However he denies all this, however he was sent packing to Chanchalguda Jail. He got a chance to showcase his patriotism towards Country and his countrymen during Independence Day. However he chose not to salute the flag and show his patriotic fervor.

His detractors say he is unpatriotic and is interested in dividing the society on caste, creed and religious lines. Jagan got into further trouble when his over enthu supporters erected posters comparing him with Gandhi. Even some of his supporters feel that Jagan is aleniating people with high handed acts hurting the sentiments of patriotic Indians

This ain’t no cat-fight, it’s just Sunny Leone singing praises of Vidya. Recently, while talking about Ekta Kapoor, she revealed, “I saw Ekta’s The Dirty Picture and was mesmerised by it. I don’t think the word fat fits in my dictionary, but to carry off that look, and glamorously so, is a big feat. Hats off to Vidya for that, I’m almost jealous!”.

Rey shooting in Caribbean Islands

YVS Chowdhary’s Rey has become the first Telugu film to be shot in Caribbean Islands. While most Telugu films have been shot extensively in Europe, USA and South-East Asia, this is the first time a Telugu film is being shot in Caribbean Islands. Currently, the film unit is in Trinidad & Tobago, an island nation in Atlantic ocean and for the next ten days, the film will be extensively shot in some breathtaking locations in this country. The film’s next schedule will begin in September in USA where the unit will film scenes in New York and Las Vegas to wrap up the entire shooting part of the movie.

Rey is a musical film in which the hero based in Carribean fights it out his way up. It seems Sai Dharam Tej and Saiyami Kher will be seen as professional dancers and Shraddha Das will play a pop diva. The first half of the film will take place in West Indies while the second half will be shot in the US. Chakri is composing the music.

Samantha to hold a press meet to clarify her absence!

Our readers are aware that Samantha is back to work once again.She was absent from shootings for almost 3 months as she suffered from a skin related disease which did not allow to come out in sun. After several postponements, she had attended the shooting for a trial shoot. She shot for Siddharth – Nandini Reddy movie on Tuesday.

And in a couple of days, she will start to work on Yeto Vellipoyindi Manasu and Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. She will hold a press conference shortly to clarify everything.

Srihari into active politics

On the eve of his birthday on August 15th, actor Sri Hari said that he will join politics in the election year of 2014.The actor had been carrying philanthropic activities without publicity for many years now. He started a charity foundation on his daughter’s name and had even adopted Medchal region and helping in the development of the region.

It is the urge in him to expand his horizons and do more that is making him want to enter politics. Sri Hari’s name, at least famously, has not been associated with any political party. He is not known to rub shoulders with any politician, at least in the open. It is to be seen which political party he will join in 2014.

Sanjay Dutt’s underworld links

While answering a question in the Supreme Court, Sanjay Dutt on Tuesday had admitted meeting underworld don Dawood Ibrahim once at a dinner that was hosted by him in Dubai. However, he replied in the negative to a court’s query if he had any friendship with the don.

Sanjay Dutt is being interrogated in the illegal possession of a rifle and he had answered the questions raised by the court about his relationship with the underworld don wanted in India in connections with his key role in the 1993 Mumbai serial bomb blasts.

Whose schemes are they anway?

Andhra Pradesh political scenario is witnessing fight regarding patents and rights on the schemes implemented by the then Congress Govt led by YS.Rajasekhar Reddy. Schemes like free power to farmers, fees reimbursement, Jala Yagnam etc became popular as YSR schemes and even people who benefited from the schemes revered YSR for that. However with the sudden demise of the YSR, Congress started claiming that the schemes are the handiwork of Sonia Gandhi and Congress High command. YSR’s son Jagan who came out of the party and launched his own party YSR CP is keen on driving home the point that all the schemes were the brainchild of his father and so he has patent over them. He even successfully made people to believe that Congress is hellbent on doing away with those schemes.

In the midst of all this APCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana recently revealed that it was he and his wife who suggested these schemes to the then CM YSR who was unwilling to implement them. He said only after he pressurised him, he reluctantly implemented those schemes. When so many people are laying claims on YSR policies and schemes, one can not expect TDP chief Chandra Babu to keep quiet. He entered the fray and claimed that transfer of money to poor, opening of bank accounts in their names, free power, fees reimbursements and many more are his plans. People are breaking their heads as to who are the true fathers’ of these claims, so that they can catch their collar and question them about the deficiencies in the policies and why they are not getting implemented properly.

Many thought Ravi Teja whom masses love and adore him dearly offer them delicious dishes and sumptuous treat on Independence Day. Even masses expected the same as they crowned him as their Mass Maharaja. However Ravi Teja disappointed all his die hard fans with out giving even a small tiffin also. On the top of it, he insulted them by having sumptuous and delicious treat in front of them.

All this happened when all his die hard fans thronged theatres to watch their hero who came with gorgeous Goan beauty Ileana in Puri Jagannath’s ‘Devudu Chesina Manushulu’. While masses expected energetic dances, ever effective mass dialogues and powerful stunts he was totally subdued and did not even allow gorgeous beauty Ileana to offer her glamor treat.

However he thoroughly enjoyed romancing Ileana and even went ahead biting her gorgeous sweet little honey filled red lips twice or thrice. On the top of it he started hugging her to the core kissing her everywhere. Many are angry with Ravi Teja for these double standards and started talking negatively after his show was over. Masses felt though he had double meals enjoying Ileana’s honey filled lips to the core, he left them starving. Masses were seen cursing mass Raja who acted as a sadist becoming totally selfish which was actually unlike him.

Balakrishna insults his father ?

Natasimha Balakrishna who says he is carrying the proud legacy of his father and great star Viswa Vikhyata Natasarwabhowma NTR, started insulting him. This is nothing new for NTR’s sons, daughters other family members to insult him and portray as they are paying great tributes to him. He was insulted when all his family members sided with Chandra Babu Naidu and back stabbed him dethroning him from the CM post. Now Balakrishna in his statements yesterday on Independence Day announced that he supports the formation of Telangana. By his statements he invariably supports the division of Andhra Pradesh which his late father and great soul NTR opposed vehemently.

When telangana moment reached its peak he released his film ‘Talla Pellama’ in 1969. In one song he showered praises on united Andhra Pradesh and highlighted the great history and tradition of the state. His song ‘Telugu Jaati Manadi… Ninduga Velugu Jaati Manadi’ found appreciation from all quarters and is even now played on AP state formation day. However his son Balakrishna who is known as Natasimha proved once again that he is a paper tiger getting scared when nothing was there and started insulting even his father.

Many feel that NTR’s family are the first enemies of the great soul as they stopped using his photos and cutouts thus erasing him from their party and trying to erase from the minds of people. Some even joined the Congress party which he opposed till his death. However they should remember one thing. However hard they may try and in whatever manner they insult NTR people will never forget him.

Ram Charan robbing Rana

Mega Power Star Ram Charan achieved astounding success in tollywood with just four films and is even eying a grand bollywood debut trying to become genex angry young man of India with his film ‘Zanzeer’. However it seems he is not satisfied with what he has in hand. He is robbing what ever tollywood hot hunk Rana is having in his possession at present. Rana who made his debut with unconventional flick ‘Leader’ under Sekhar Kammula’s direction much to the surprise of many made a name for himself with his performance in the film. He is still regarded as ‘Leader’ though he went to bollywood and featured in two to three flicks like ‘Dum Maro Dum’, ‘Department’ rubbing shoulders with Sanjay Dutt and Amitabh Bachchan.

Now Ram Charan is keen on becoming tollywood’s leader and robbed Rana from his title ‘Leader’. In his upcoming mass entertainer under VV.Vinayak’s direction. The film features Kajal and Amala Paul in the lead and Ram Charan is playing dual role for the first time in his career. Film makers recently titled the film ‘Nayak’ with the tag line ‘The Leader’. Many feel what’s the necessity for Ram Charan to rob Rana of his title ‘Leader’. Rana is reeling in the string of flops and is currently starring in Krish’s ‘Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum’. Cherry’s acts will surely disappoint Rana leaving him dejected.

Sonia-Jagan’s quid Pro Quo

Ever since the allegations of Jagan’s disproportionate assets case came out in open the phrase quid pro quo has been used extensively by all parties especially Jagan’s detractors and even CBI in its charge sheet. People started searching for its meaning and found out that the phrase converts to expecting something in return for the things one does. Many feel that though Congress high command headed by Sonia sent Jagan packing to Jail, she needs him more dearly than anyone else to realise her dream of making her loving son Rahul Gandhi as the PM of India. To achieve this state of Andhra Pradesh is extremely important as only victory here would ensure some cushion for the party. Already strong winds of opposition is blowing against the party across India but Sonia feels that things could be managed as people there don’t have any alternative rather than to vote for Maya or Mulayalam in UP whom she can manage, NCP in Maharashtra whom again she can manage, Laloo or Nitish Kumar in Bihar and with Nitish sending signals to Cong, Sonia is in safe zone.

In the neck and neck fight with Ramdev, Anna Hazare breathing fire, things are blossoming for BJP. It all boils down to South and TN can be managed with either Jayalalitha or Karunanidhi and now Country’s fpcus shifts to AP where the party is on the verge of getting decimated. So Sonia is making last ditch attempt and she is in no way interested in power at State level. She is making line clear for Jagan making him a strong force in the state so that power won’t be lost completely. Jagan already stated that he would support Cong at Center and so in that way Rahul can become PM. If neither Cong and Jagan win AP it would be difficult for Sonia. So Sonia and Jagan has quid pro quo understanding in which Rahul becomes PM and Jagan becomes CM.

Synopsis:

Vishnu Murthy (Brahmanandham) tells a love story of two orphans to Lakshmi Devi on Akshaya Thruthiya day. Ravi Teja (Ravi Teja) is a settlement broker in Hyderabad while Ileana (Ileana) is a taxi driver in Bangkok. Both of them are orphans and they share common likes. Because of an arati thokka (Banana peel) thrown by Papayya (M.S.Narayana) on the road, the story takes a certain direction and Ravi Teja heads to Bangkok to negotiate a settlement between Circle Inspector Subba Raju (Subba Raju) and Bangkok Don Prakash Raj (Prakash Raj). He meets with Ileana in this process and falls in love with her. Rest of the story is about the game Vishnu and Lakshmi plays with Ravi Teja, Ileana and Prakash Raj.

Performances:

Ravi Teja is at his usual energetic self. He brings fabulous energy and entertainment with his interpretation of character. And we never get tired of his kind of comedy.

Ileana has lost herself in recent times. Somehow, the charm and beauty on her face is lost and her body looks too pale on the screen. The romantic track between Ravi Teja and Ileana never really takes off and the viewers will find it hard to connect with their feelings.

Though Prakash Raj was the main villain of the film, Puri uses him for comedy purposes in the role of a mafia don who forgets every thing in regular intervals. Jyothi Rana looks sufficiently vampish. Ali brings a few laughs as Bangkok taxi driver Goli. Brahmanandham and Kovai Sarla are good in their roles. Subba Raju did well in the little role he is offered. M.S.Narayana is seen in a very brief cameo. Fish Venkat is routine.

Technical Performances:

Puri Jagan said something interesting in the audio function of the film. “I made the film without a story”. He was telling the truth. This movie does not have a story but he entertained the audience through out the run time of the movie. The songs tend to come in at abrupt intervals and spoil whatever flow is there in the narrative. This is especially more evident in the second half, where screenplay is quite bad. He made good decision in restricting the run time of the movie to 2 hours otherwise it would have become difficult to entertain audience. Dialogues written by Puri are awesome as ever. Characterizations and Certain dialogues were too good. There were certain moments in the second half like the Anna Chellemma track between Prakash Raj and Ileana bored a bit but is manageable.

Raghu Kunche’s music is average and picturisation of songs is okay. Cinematography and Editing is good.

Final Say:

Devudu Chesina Manushulu might be the only movie in recent times which released with such low expectations in recent times. Expectations are almost zeroed due to several postponements. This might help the movie at box office. Watch it if you have nothing to do!

Chandrababu’s chameleon eyes

Eyes are essential for any human being. One should take extreme care in protecting them but it seems TDP chief Chandra Babu seems to have forgotten the fundamentals. He did not notice that his eyes were having problem and had some infection till the eruption of Telangana moment.When the symptoms were first noticed, instead of diagonising them and getting treatment, he tried to take comfort saying that Telangana and Seemandhra are his two eyes. However little did he realise that his disease will increase till he gets totally blind.

Had Babu analysed himself even at stage things would have been different. However he continued to be adamant and now recently he came with a statement that Hindus and Muslims are his two eyes and due to this he is not aligning with BJP. Now one wonder how come his two eyes which were earlier Telangana and Seemandhra become Hindus and Muslims. If so how to equate them. Muslims with telangana or seemandhra and vice versa.

His political opponents and political analysers feel Babu has gone mad with his myopic eyes and losing foresight. They feel that he is in the process of losing sight completely as his eyes are on verge of turning blind. Hope Naidu take some preventive course of action before it becomes too late.

can CBI score a six?

Who says CBI is Congress Bureau of Investigation? Till now YSRCP and sometimes TDP accused CBI of being a puppet at the hands of ruling parties and currently that of UPA led by Congress. The fact was proven many times in case of Laloo, Maya, Mulayalam. Whenever Congress needed their support, cases against them would go slow and the moment they turn enemies CBI gets a wake up call. However just like every rule has an exception, it seems CBI is also having an exception and this time it is the state of Andhra Pradesh it is showing its power.

Much to the surprise and disbelief of general public and citizens across India the agency stated including the names of ministers and even arresting them shifting them to central jail. Already Mopidevi Venkataramana is passing his time in jail and Dharmana Prasada Rao is next in queue in Jagan’s disproportionate assets case. CBI is now gunning for other ministers J Geeta Reddy, Sabita Reddy, Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Kanna Lakshminarayana who received notices from Supreme Court.

Now the question that is in the minds of general public is can CBI score a sixer and send CM Kiran who used to captain AP Ranji team and currently captaining AP Congress team packing?.If and when it happens it will be a record in the entire history of CBI since its inception after India’s independence.

Botsa’s secrets to be busted?

Botsa Satyanarayana seems to be having immense political clout. As such his family is full of MLAs and MLCs and no wonder that he enjoys such clout. He got himself drowned in knee deep corruption charges and siphoning of public money by floating a fraudulent company Vasishta Vahan, duping the state of Volkswagen project. However even after CBI inquiry during YSR regime, the case was closed. Many wondered how could CBI not find even a single proof against him.

More recently he successfully warded off ACB raids on his liquor mafia in his place Vijayanagaram that too after great difficulty. In the beginning he stalled the raids though raids were going on across the state, however following public protests raids were conducted however he got the ACB chief transferred using his power. But before that it was found that he owns liquor shops and manages the syndicate using benami names. But none in the govt officials and law authorities could act against him, as some hidden hand is saving him from taking any action against him.WIth Botsa revealing his political ambitions to become CM post, action against him would be extremely difficult.

Many wonder who is the hidden hand with immense power that is saving Botsa. Many feel that someone more powerful in Congress High Command at Centre is saving him as he has some business and political and business dealings with him. Many feel unless until Botsa’s secrets are busted out none can believe Congress claim of cleaning corruption.

Will nag’s spiritual musings work wonders?

Akkineni Nagarjuna is always viewed as Yuva Samrat, romantic hero, King and all in all charming Manmadhudu of tollywood. He starred in many love stories, romanced hot beauties and in some got himself sandwiched between two or more stunning babes. Even now many new comers desire to romance and seduce King of romantic hearts Nagarjuna.

However he sometimes experimented and emerged victorious unlike many other top heroes. His devotional flicks Annamayya, Sriramadasu proves that point and now he is turning as ‘Shirdi Sai’. Shooting is completed and is set for grand release in september. In the mean time he is busy with his romantic ‘Love Story’ with Nayanatara.

However to the surprise of many he is unveling his spiritual side. He is saying that on hearing Shirdi Sai songs he is getting immense happiness and enjoyment. He even said that one night he found an idol of Shirdi Sai on his dining table and even on questioning none could reply properly. This is unlike Nag who earlier used to listening to songs from commercial films and who never responded or gave vent to his feelings though he listened to songs and poems in Annamayya and Ramadasu.

Some devotees feel that age bought him wisdom and spiritual realisation, others feel that this kind of marketing gimmicks create undue hype on Nag-Raghavendra rao’s upcoming devotional flick ‘Shirdi Sai’ which may backfire on film makers. One has to wait and watch for the spiritual effects of Nag’s spiritual musings.

Secret of grounded Gopichand never takes off

Tollywood angry young man Gopichand has immense following in masses. He did not disappoint them after turning to villian in ‘Jayam’ and later becoming hero. His mass masala entertainers get good response from B and C centres and many wonder why grounded Gopichand is never taking off. This time he tasted failure turning lover boy in ‘Mogudu’ under Krishna Vamsi direction. He is again back to his strong genre romancing Nayanatara in Jaganmohan IPS.

However the film’s shooting is stalled as director Bhoopati Pandian walked out of the project alleging harassment from Gopichand. The film makers replaced the director as some small mistake happened during shooting of marriage scene. However this Chennai based director slammed the film makers alleging mental torture from Gopichand asking him to change script, story and scenes immediately every time. Those who know Gopi’s behavior says that this is nothing new for the hero as he has the reputation of behaving in high handed manner with everyone around him.

Gopi recently got into problem when his marriage got cancelled with the bride revealing she was in love and then later her father killed. His close aides say that he is effected by that but others rubbish. They say Nizam King is known for this nefarious acts and that’s the reason why is career is ground and is never taking off though he has immense talent. Hope Gopi realises this and mend his ways as many feel he is a perfect replacement for Mass Raja Ravi Teja.

Evil effect on ‘Eega’ creator

No one hates failures and Rajamouli is no different. Till recently he has been hailed as the most successful director and he has proven track record of delivering 100% hits with all top tollywood stars. His recent venture ‘Eega’ which is a starless crusade against all top stars across the country emerged victorious in the most spectacular manner with many film makers turning envious of ‘Eega’ and his creator ‘Rajamouli’.

There were speculations that he would be going to kollywood and direct superstar Rajanikanth and Surya. Even in tollywood rumors mills worked overnight that he would be directing Balakrishna’s 100th film. Many thought with lady luck smiling how many more stunning hits this tollywood jakkana would deliver. However some evil eye had its desired ‘Evil’ effect which his detractors always desired for.

Some how he was influenced into nourishing the dreams of becoming a producer and he turned overnight producer teaming with Sai Korrapati in the middle of the project ‘Andala Rakshasi’. The film proved to be a disaster for him and many wondered how Rajamouli who has a keen eye for technicalities was duped into producing the film. Some even questioned whether Rajamouli ever watched the film before turning the producer.

Now Rajamouli knows that he would have to face difficult questions from media and to escape from that he has taken a holiday route to Goa. Hope he will regain his senses and in the mean time evil eye’s black magic will disappear once he returns after his vacation.

Tarak in search of success track

When NTR made his debut with a sensational hit ‘Student No 1’, entire Nandamuri family launched Taraka Ratna in a grand manner in a glittering ceremony where he signed 7 films on a spree which is all time record for any hero across the world. However his first film ‘Okato Number Kurradu’ turned to be a disaster and snap disappeared all the other six projects without any trace.

A decade passed by from that time and till now nothing spectacular happened expect for the fact that Tarak is still in search of his success track. More recently he came with his Nandeeswarudu last year and prior to the release of his flick he announced with much fanfare asking his fans to address him as ‘NTR’ showing that he is in competition with young tiger NTR.

However the film went without a trace and now he is planning to turn ‘Vijeta’ under the direction of P.Uday Bhaskar. Now many wonder whether he can emerge victorious and prove all his detractors false. However film critics feel that unless until he improves his acting skills, diction, dialogue delivery along with his dancing and stunt enacting skills it will be a highly daunting task for him to turn the tide which is against him at present. One has to wait and see how Tarak emerges successful in his search of success track.
