When ever people of Telangana expect some positive developments and path breaking announcements on formation of the state from the Center, some or the other developments across the country stalls any possible positive developments. Telangana politicians and people expected some sort of announcement after the completion of President elections. but however Maratha strong man Sharad Pawar gave ‘Power’full stroke to UPA led Congress government at Center. Congress High Command got completely engrossed in appeasing Pawar and later got convenient excuse to send message to its representatives of Telangana that it was busy sorting out issues with NCP at State and Center. Once that problem was solved Assam started exploding with insurgents using violence to drive away locals.
Already Congress at Center is delaying the formation of Telangana, citing Mulayam,Mamata and other allies who are opposed to the division as it will bring in more such demands in states in which they are the main players. Now it seems even developments in the Country are not in favor of Telangana people and Center turning cunning taking telangana people for a ride. Political bosses at center feel that stage managing incidents across various parts of the country, people an be taken for a ride. However if people know its true colors of Congress at Center then they will teach a fitting lesson in the next elections. They should understand that they are playing with T-fire and making some of its MPs like Madhu Yashki utter some violent pro telangana statements will not save it from defeat.

While Asin and Kajal Aggarwal too have been signed on by the brand before, they’ve not shot solo ads. This makes Tamannaah’s endorsement deal all the more special, the industry pundits say.

It is no exaggeration in saying that Salman Khan had made it a habit of breaking records with his movies. His next movie ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ is gearing up for release for this Eid. Eid has been a special season for Salman Khan as his previous movies Wanted, Ready, Bodyguard, released during Eid and went on to become huge hits.
In an interview, when asked if his Bodyguard records will be toppled this Eid, the actor tried to sound modest, he said, “Actors don’t do movies to break records. The idea is always to make a film with utmost sincerity. Records get made and broken because of statistics. The numbers of theatres that play Bollywood movies globally have increased; the release of films is now very wide. Naturally the returns have increased. Frankly from now on, I want all films to start crossing the ` 200 cr mark.”

The last episode of Aamir Khan’s Satyamev Jayate was aired on Sunday featuring issues seldom discussed on mainstream entertainment channels. The TV show which focused on several social issues from female foeticide to child sexual abuse, medical malpractice to untouchability, from organic food to the water crisis in the country will be back with a second season.
Uday Shankar, CEO, Star India, confirmed that the channel was keen to take the show ahead. He told us, “The intent of the show was to use the power and platform of television to drive change. This show has disrupted every convention of programming, format, delivery and marketing. It is a testimony to the power of innovation to challenge convention and rewrite the rules of the game. But, the real impact of the show is in the awareness it has created and the lives it has changed. We are keen to take this show forward.”

NTR’s loyalist and Gudivada MLA Kodali Nani switched his loyalty from TDP to YSRC which gave rise to ire among party cadre and Nandamuri fans. It was so severe that the actor had to come out and given an explanation that he is no longer connected with people who are not with TDP. In view of the recent political developments within the party, a majority of Nandamuri loyalists have not only disowned Nani but also is not happy with the actor due to this issue.
However, this developments do not go well with TDP Supreme Chandra Babu Naidu who knows the unity of Nandamuri family is necessary for the party’s survival. Speculations are rife that TDP supreme Chandra Babu Naidu is keeping his 100% efforts to bring Babai Balayya and Abbayi NTR on the same dais and clear all the doubts. Balakrishna’s upcoming movie Srimannarayana audio launch will take place on 6th August. NTR will be in the city by that time returning from abroad. Naidu is trying to make NTR attend the event. Few crucial scenes and a song of the movie are canned in this schedule in various locales of Italy and Switzerland. NTR is reportedly very happy with ongoing shooting proceedings so far. He gifted a costly Breitling watch to the director Srinu Vaitla.
Gopimohan, the co-writer of the movie tweeted the picture of the watch and said, “Our Baadshah “Ntr” gifted this lovely Breitling Watch to our dir Sreenu Vaitla ji after finishing our talkie schedule. In return Vaitla ji want to give a BlockBuster as a gift to Baadshah.He is totally dedicated on that.:)”

The Mouna Deeksha (silent protest) of Congress senior leader and Rajya Sabha member Hanumanta Rao has stirred a serious discussion in Congress circles.VH has chosen Gandhi Bhavan, headquarters of the party to launch his protest. Still, there was no response from the Pradesh Congress President Botsa Satyanarayana for the Deeksha.Why has Botsa chosen to remain silent on the protest of his senior colleague?
In fact, senior Congress leaders had expected Botsa to go to Gandhi Bhavan and make him give up his protest. However the party chose to send the Deputy Chief Minister to VH to make him give up the protest.It is learnt that Botsa had discussed about VH’s protest in the privacy of his residence with party senior leaders including Mohd. Ali Shabbir. It is being said that it was decided in that meeting that Botsa should not go to VH as he had described the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy as the covert of Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. It was felt that if he went to Gandhi Bhavan and tried to make VH give up the fast, it would lead to other political speculations.
Several Congress leaders were stunned when VH, who is also the secretary of AICC called the Chief Minister a covert of Kadapa MP.This is the reason why some Congress MLAs have complained to the party high command that the Deeksha of Hanumantha Rao was an anti-party activity.
Hanumantha Rao has not grown as a leader despite his being in the good books of the Indira Gandhi family. Except for one term in the Assembly when he was made minister, he could never win a direct election. He was always sent to the upper house of Parliament meant for intellectuals, despite his not being very much educated. His lack of education and ability to speak in English deprived him of a berth in the central cabinet. However, T Anjaiah could become the Chief Minister and central minister with the same limitations. But he was a mass leader. He was seldom defeated in direct elections. This being the difference, Hanumantha Rao could neither become the Chief Minister nor the central minister. His growth stopped at becoming the PCC Chief once.
Not being able to assume any important role in the government, Hanumantha Rao has assumed the role of a permanent dissident. As long as Dr. Rajasekhara Reddy was alive, he remained a dissident. After his death, he started spewing venom at his son Y S Jaganmohan Reddy. He is the man who has influenced the Congress high command that Congress should disown YSR and a tirade against Jagan would endear the party to the people. This formula of his has proved to be fatal and became the chief reason for the rout of Congress in the recent by-elections. Now VH has chosen to directly attack Kiran Kumar Reddy as he had simply done what he had to do as the Chief Minister – allow Vijayamma to exercise her constitutional right of visiting Sircilla in Karimnagar district.

Chandrababu has become infamous for his two-eye theory on Telangana. He has described Telangana and Seemandhra regions as his two eyes. This was described by Telangana protagonists as a ploy to scuttle the Telangana process.
Now when strong advocates of Telangana inside the TDP were bringing pressure on Naidu to give a fresh letter consenting to the bifurcation of the state, his party’s Rayalaseema leader Baireddy Rajasekhara Reddy has said if the state was to be divided, it should be three states, dividing even Rayalaseema.
This new slogan of the TDP leader is being seen as the third eye of Naidu by his opponents. TRS leaders are openly charging Naidu of opening his third eye, to undo the process of creation of Telangana. They point out that the center would take this fresh demand for the Rayalaseema as an excuse to once again put the Telangana issue in cold storage.

Story:
Onamalu revolves around a village. Narayana Rao master (Rajendra Prasad) grows as an orphan in a village and completes his education taking help of villagers. And join as a teacher in the same village. His children settle in America and he leaves to America. He does not digest the culture and returns to the same village, He recollects all the sweet memories of his village while travelling from the airport in a car to his place with a view that Village people will have the same old mindsets and they give importance to human relationship But, for a surprise he find people with completely changed mentalities. As Mahatma Gandhi said “India lives in its villages” . How our Narayan Master will enlighten the people? And what all changes he brings in their lives? …is the story.
Performance:
For Rajendra Prasad it is a cake walk, he already proved in earlier films like Aa Naluguru and Mee Sreyobhilashi. He is the obvious choice for the role.Kalyani in wife role does a very good job and they make a fine pair. Raghu Babu is adorable as Erramanzil and credible performances from Chalapati Rao and Siva Parvati.
Technical:
Lyrical beauty adds to the greenery and also describes the pathos and pain the master undergoes. Director Kranti Madhav’s narration exudes sincerity, honesty and sense of purpose. He hasn’t left any lesson untouched, those ignorant can learn a few and the learned ones can go through them once again. The strength of the film is the dialogue writer and the cinematographer. Koti music is pleasant.
Analysis:
Onamaalu is not a movie as much as it is a string of little vignettes – if the first half is about showcasing incidents of goodness in the picture-perfect rural community, the second half is all about how life has “degraded”. It’s all about painting a picture with individual elements in place, with little emphasis on making this a free-flowing story.
While the word ‘commercial cinema’ is order of the day, any poster that has an artiste, dressed as a senior citizen in dhoti and kurta, bespectacled is bound to keep youth away but…give it a thought why Rajendra Prasad and why not someone? Rajendra Prasad must have been an obvious choice after Aa Naluguru and Mee Sreyobhilashi in Onamalu that revolves around a village.The intention of the director is very clear, he shows the ideal village in India where air is pure and people don’t think twice in feeding people. The philosophy behind the thought is simple, just keep feeding and God will ensure you are never short of food.

‘Rulers’of the State!

The word ‘Ruler’ has the royal look and has been immensely popularised by Boyapati Sreenu with his song in Yong Tiger NTR’s mass entertainer ‘Dammu’. Some film makers even thought of making film with ‘Ruler’ as title. The above heading ‘Rulers’ of the state look synonymous to Hollywood super hit film ‘Enemies of the State’. Many even say that the saying are true considering the fact that more than 90 percent of present day politicians are entangled in one scam or another or have corruption or criminal charges against them with court proceedings going on. However they take refuse in the saying that no person is criminal unless until proven guilty and in out country where court proceedings even beat snail’s pace, justice will not only be delayed but also denied.
State of Andhra Pradesh is lucky enough to have innumerous rulers running the Government. They include IAS/IPS officers, cabinet ministers, MLAs, MPs and even second rung politicians excluding the Chief Minister. They show their power in issuing powerful political statements without action. Instigate students against each other or religion against each other and enjoy the fruits of unrest in the name of vote banks. This resulted in them enjoying ‘Power’ while entire Andhra Pradesh deprieved of ‘Power’. How common man deal with them in the next elections has to be seen.

TDP’s Gen x battles for Leadership !

TDP chief Chandra Babu Naidu who is grappling for a breather from growing dissent and busy trying to stem outflow of his cadres or leaders towards his rival parties is trying his best to revive the party by winning over the confidence of people and the cadre. He already roped in Natasimha Balakrishna to add glamor and hope that his powerul speeches and image as son of NTR will help him in the long run. He is also nurturing dreams of making his son Lokesh as his heir apparent.
However all this may not be easy cake walk for Naidu or Lokesh even with the support of Natasimha Balakrishna as he will definitely face severe opposition from Young Tiger NTR who enjoys immense mass following in the state and his dad Hari Krishna. Currently they are lying low biding their time to strike resounding blow at the right moment.
Chandra Babu feels Lokesh with his overseas education and net savvy nature just like him may revive the party implementing what he learnt overseas in the party as well as for the benefit of the people of Andhra Pradesh. However his lack of popularity in masses is his main draw back which happen to be the strengh of young tiger NTR. He may be lacking political acumen which is the forte of CBN, but with experience he can turn really wily and tough nut to crack. One has to wait and watch who will be victorious in this gripping battle of wits between Lokesh and NTR.

CBI proves to be Real Cuprit ?

Ever since CBI was entrusted with Jagan’s disproportionate assets case, many suspicions were raised on its motives and the manner of its functioning.While CBI chief JD.Lakshminarayana was made overnight hero by entire media who was against Jagan from the beginning based on his actions, while Jagan’s supporters lashed out at them accusing the chief dancing to the tunes of his political bosses.
The entire case investigation took a new turn when YSRCP using fraudulent means got in its possession and revealed minutes of JD’s interactions with select media and even more selective leaks on the progress of the investigation of Jagan’s case. If JD.Lakshminarayana interacted in similar manner with entire media without discriminating the media as Jagan’s supporters and detractors, then there wouldn’t have been such hue and cry.
Many times Supreme Court on various issues pointed out that investigations should be done in a secretive and seclusive manner without leading vital information which may effect the investigation. This was not practiced by CBI and its chief. CBI is once again acting in high handed manner not replying to the exact necessity for long duration interactions with select media but going on arrest spree in an vindictive manner. If anyone is responsible for spurge in sympathy for Jagan, it is CBI which is the main culprit.

Nagarjuna Meets Nimmagadda Prasad with ‘Prasadam’

Hero Nagarjuna has once again met industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad in the Chanchalguda jail on Friday. Nagarjuna who recently went to Shirdi and placed the audio cassette of his film ‘Shirdi Sai’ at the Samadhi of Baba, gave Prasadam brought from Shirdi to his friend Prasad.This is the second time for Nagarjuna to meet Nimmagadda. He has earlier met him on June 30th.
Reports said earlier that Nagarjuna had invested in the controversial Vanpic project. A noted English newspaper wrote that the hero had invested heavily in the Matrix Enport Holdings company, which had undertaken the Vanpic project. The paper cited the annual financial report the company had submitted to the Registrar of Companies, in which Nagarjuna’s name was mentioned as one of the stake holders. The report mentioned that Nagarjuna owned 2 lakh shares of the value of Rs. 10 each. The report also said that Nagarjuna had tried to take back his shares after Nimmagadda was arrested. Nimmagadda, Nagjuna and Chiranjeevi own 80 percent of the shares in the Telugu TV channel MAA TV. Thirty percent of these shares were purchased by Sony Pictures Telivision in April. Nimmagadda Prasad is the chairman of MAA TV.
It may be mentioned here that Nimmagadda Prasad was arrested on allegations that he had indulged in irregularities in distribution of compensation for land acquired for the Vanpic project. He is also facing charges of investing in the companies of the YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, in return for undue favours received from his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy when he was the Chief Minister.

Silent storm in TRS ?

KCR, Knight of Telangana moulded his party , leadership and cadre in such a way that who ever deserts the party or talks against the party will be branded as traitors of telangana. For that reason many fear backlash from the party and cadre loyal to KCR, if they look for better prospects. This resulted in dictator like rule in the party, with all prominent posts and positions going to KCR’s family members and relatives. Those who really strive for the strengthening of the party are ignored and this is resulting in silent rebellion. They are only waiting for opportune time to strike back with vengeance.
Sometime back TRS experienced power struggle between family members and relatives of KCR, prominent being his nephew T.Harish Rao, young and dynamic leader and KTR, son of KCR. KCR plans to elevate his son as his heir apparent and Harish Rao who worked for the strengthening of the party from the ground level couldn’t digest it. YSRCP is closely analysing the situation and with even Reddys who are silently tolerating KCR’s dictatorial ways, Jagan is playing his cards close to his chest.
So though TRS may be ruling the roost in Telangana with it decimating all is rivals, there is silence before thunder storm and if TRS don’t take any precautionary measures, then it will be swept and wiped in the storm.

TDP Leader B V Mohan Reddy Passes Away

Former minister and senior TDP leader, B. V. Mohan Reddy, who has been ailing for some time, passed away this morning.Mohan Reddy, who contested in the recent Assembly by-election from Yemmiganur, fell ill in the midst of election campaigning and was admitted to the hospital. His condition reportedly worsened in the early hours and the doctors could not save his life even after he was put on ventilator.
Mohan Reddy held several portfolios in the late NTR and Chandrababu Naidu governments. Several party leaders expressed shock over his death and conveyed their heart-felt sympathies to the bereaved family members.
Immediately after he breathed his last, his body was shifted to his residence in the MLA Quarters for facilitating the party workers and leaders to have a last glimpse of the departed leader. Bereaved family members said that his body will be cremated in his native Yemmiganur town in Kurnool district on Saturday afternoon.

SS Rajamouli’s Eega is creating waves at Tollywood and Kollywood box office. The movie had raked in as much as 50 crore share from both the versions so far. And now the entire focus shifts to the Hindi version of the movie..
Talking to a popular daily Rajamouli had revealed his plans for Makki, he said, “We will be releasing Makkhi, the Hindi version of Eega, in a month’s time.” When asked if he had approached Abhishek Bachchan to play Nani’s role, he categorically stated, “We have not approached Abhishek or any actor in the Hindi film industry. There will be no 3D version, but we are making a few changes to suit Hindi audiences.
In Telugu, Eega had danced for hit numbers of Chiranjeevi, NTR and others, but in its Bollywood avatar, it will groove to Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan hits.” And precisely which songs will the makkhi be dancing to? To that producer Suresh Babu says, “For Salman’s moves, we would like to take a song from Dabangg or Bodyguard. We have to see which song best suits the movements of our fly.”

Speaking to a TV channel about the speculation around signing Kareena for Chennai Express. He candidly revealed, “Kareena is my mom. I’ve to tell her whatever I’m working on; I run my scripts past her, tell her about upcoming projects. She knows who I’m working with, where I’m shooting, what I’m doing. She keeps a check on me.” Lol!

Amala set for a come back !

Almost two decades later, Amala Akkineni is all set to make a come back in Telugu Films. She is acting in Life is Beautiful directed by Sekhar Kammula.
Amala, who shot to fame with Siva opposite Nagarjuna Akkineni, married the actor in 1992. She gave up acting after the marriage and settled down as a housewife. She got herself busy with Blue Cross to take care of stray animals. She was also engaged in social service activities. Nagarjuna and Amala have a son Akhil.Amala seems to have accepted the offer, considering that Sekhar Kammula is known for making clean films like Anand, Godavari, Happy days and Leader in the recent past.
The couple made it to the audio function of the movie that took place at Marriott and was the center of attraction.
