TFI is always in the grips of big four or five influential families or people and entire industry is reeling in its grip unable to come out of their iron like clutches. However small film makers created a sensation in recent film chamber elections winning over the influential members. Since for the first time, elections were held under electronic voting system and none can find out who voted for which group, all the film makers who suffered at the hands of these influential people voted unitedly for Tammareddy Bharadwaj panel during the Film Chamber elections. Those who kept film producers and film makers under their grip and tampered film production experienced shock of their life.

For years these influential few have been increasing rents of theaters as per their whims and fancies and even allotted those theaters to people who support them and exacting revenge on others who opposed them. They might have done all this but couldn’t make people vote for them threatening or keeping them in house arrest. Tammareddy Bharadwaj’s panel’s victory brings in democracy to the functioning of the panel. However the victory of the panel did not come so easily. The opponents tried all means to defeat them.They tried to introduce new panel naming it as active panel and this hurt the feelings of many small film makers. Now a days film makers have become cashiers and for that matter even Suresh Movies banner stopped making films.

This time Daggubati Suresh Panel have taken this elections prestigiously and gave parties to even members though they don’t have any votes. Even on polling day they tried to make Ashok Kumar,(Suresh’s close relative) as President as he luckily won the elections. However Tammareddy Panel opposed their moves and Suresh panel reluctantly agreed Bharadwaj as the president. Any film nagar sources say small film makers are dead against D.Suresh ‘s high handed ways and the same reflected in election results. However just winning elections will not solve the problems of small film makers. They should bring change in the system and take all parties along with them.

When movie lovers happen to watch telugu films many feel that there is nothing new in the script or story line. A layman can predict what will happen next and just like a saying used to be there about serials, that even after watching it after few days back, one can predict the storyline, similar can be applied to films. None of the film scripts inspire any confidence in movie lovers.. One wonder whether heroes really hear the scripts or blindly sign projects going by the reputation of directors and film makers. Sometime back during Dammu audio release NTR said he rejected 9 scripts before finalizing the tenth one from Boyapati Srinu. But many commented what made him agree to that script too as the story was predictable and has noting innovative in it.

Many feel that heroes don’t watch other heroes films and just ask directors and film makers to ready a script on similar lines of a super hit flick from bollywood, kollywood or hollywood. Sometimes they implore him to prepare script similar to tollywood number one grossers. That was the reason why there won’t be any creativity or inattentiveness in 99% of tollywood films. While many innovative and creative films come from other regions, our movie lovers are left with singing praises of them as they can’t expect anything from them. Standard answers of all those present in the industry is if they think of making a creative or award winning film, viewers will not encourage them. Unless until heroes stop tampering with scripts and encourage novelty just like their counterparts in kollywood or bollywood, monotonous mass masala entertainers are common in tollywood.

Movie lovers after witnessing ‘Ukodatara Ulikkipadatara’ are left wondering are spirits going to rule tollywood silver screen. The film featured Balakrishna and Sonu Sood in roles of spirits fighting with each other in a greulling duel making viewers fix their eyes to the screens. Some more film are expected to come. They include hot malayalee beauty Priyamani who is coming in dual roles to terrify all as conjoint twins to exact revenge on evil doers. 

Lawrence who is currently busy with ‘Rebel’ is contemplating on making sequel for his superhit ‘Kanchana’, He stunned all playing a role which has three spirits inside it. Even Ukodatara Ulikkipadatara has some surprise elements like Sonu Sood’s spirit switching over from one person to another person. Film makers are smitten by spirits when Super Star Rajanikanth played with ‘Chandramukhi’ spirit in the superhit ‘Chandramukhi’. Later the same film maker tried to take Chandramukhi to new level with ‘Nagavalli’ with Victory Venkatesh.. 

Pretty lass Priyamani also came with ‘Kshetram’ last year. In between none can forget mangalore beauty Anushka’s ‘Arundhati’ which made her the super heroine of tollywood. Even before Arundhati’s spirit could come out of movie lovers, she came with ‘Panchakshari’. The thought of spirits will surely make movie lovers spine chill. One has to wait and watch how many spirits will spellbound movie lovers and enter success rings.
