However, he says he had not finalized the story for Prabhas. However, he hinted that the movie is going to be based on our ancient glory Speaking in an interview, he said, “I have not finalized the subject for Prabhas yet. A couple of different lines are being worked on and we will take a call soon. But basically, I do want to make a film on our Kings with Prabhas. There are so many captivating stories regarding our Kings, with great emotional upheavals. I would like to showcase such stories in a new way”.

So, in all probability, we are in for a treat once again with a mythological story.

Star director VV Vinayak is directing a new movie with Mega Power Star Ram Charan in the main lead under Universal media banner produced by DVV Danayya. This film is the first in the combination of director and hero. The film shooting is going on in Kolkata which will continue till the end of this month.The Songs shoot of the movie will begin in August in beautiful locales of Iceland and Greece.

Kajal Agrawal and Amala Paul are acting as the female leads and Thaman composing the music for this movie. Cherry is the title under consideration for this movie and is expected to release in last half of this year.

Rana Babu is the character name of Prakash Raj in Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming movie ‘Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu’. Characterization of PR and the scenes between him and Pawan are said to be the highlight in the movie. The shooting of the movie is going on at brisk pace. Currently, Pawan Kalyan is shaking legs with milky beauty Tamannah in a special set erected in Annapurna 7 acres. Production designer Chinna had erected a beautiful set for this song shoot.

Pawan Kalyan is playing the role of a journalist in the film. Puri Jagannath is directing Pawan in this movie after their Badri. DVV Danayya is producing it on Universal movies banner. Mani Sharma is scoring the music. The film is going to hit the screens on October 18.

Our readers are aware that the regular shooting of Young Tiger NTR’s upcoming movie ‘Badshah’ had began earlier last month in Italy. The movie unit had canned a song and few vital scenes of the movie there and now unit had shifted to Switzerland. The shooting there will continue till end of this month and Hyderabad schedule will begin in the first week of August. The movie story is mostly set in abroad and will have almost 45 working days of shoot in various countries.

While Pooja Bhatt’s Jism-2 is making news for all sorts of reasons. The director is now gearing up for another movie in the Jism franchise. The second in the Jism series Jism-2 starring Sunny Leone, Arunodoy Singh and Randeep Hooda is yet to hit the screens. The movie was recently cleared by Censor with many cuts.

When asked if Sunny Leone will be there in the movie and Pooja says, “Bipasha was not there in Jism 2. So why would Sunny be there in Jism 3? I have to move on… raise the bar and excitement levels. There will neither be Bipasha nor Sunny in Jism 3.”

Nara Rohit is just few movies old in Tollywood but had got considerable recognition for opting good subjects but the actor is yet to get the much required commercial success. And if the rumours are to be belived, he is close to attain with one project. We hear that Nandamuri Balakrishna had reportedly given nod to act in a movie with Rohit. A script for this project is being prepared too.

While the director behind this project is yet to be known, Filmnagar sources are a buzz that it is VV Vinayak who is going to direct it. At this moment, we are not in a position to confirm this project as the makers are keeping it all secret. If it materializes, it will be a major boost to Rohit’s career who is yet to get a commercial break.

Since few days we have been hearing news about Sanjay Leela Bhansali directing the remake of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s blockbuster movie Indra with Akshay Kumar in lead roles. However, Priyanka Dutt, the daughter of Ashwini Dutt who produced the film on Vijayanthi Movies banner, has told a leading newspaper that they did not sell the film’s remake rights to anyone despite getting several offers. Moreover, she added that she might produce the Hindi remake under her home production banner. We will have to see if this is true or just a publicity stunt.

And one of those films after thirty three years of its initial release (in 1979), Ninaithale Inikkum, the romantic musical that starring the super stars, is all set to be re-released across the state with in a new avatar with cinemascope and stereo sound. Plans are on to enhance the original negative and give it a grading and convert it into the latest digital format.
