Tollywood Lacks Trained & Creative Technicians : Nagarjuna
King Nagarjuna generally choses to stay diplomatic while passing comments about film industry. But this time, he has spoken something from his heart, which many people are finding tough to digest.
While presiding over a meet at his Film School today, Nag stated that Film Industry is lacking talented and creative individuals who are well trained. The star hero has stressed the need for well educated people in Film Industry where the game is with crores of rupees. He means ‘Film education’ here, say it screenplay writing, directing or producing a film.
We can always see it in Tollywood that creative individuals have no technical brains and technicians are not so creative while directing movies. Though there are some exceptions like Krishnavamsi and Rajamouli, two persons are not enough for 120 films that are coming out from Tollywood factory every year.
Critics say that there is no need to take Nag’s comments in a bitter tone. An actor of his experience will not make such comments so easily. This also cannot be viewed as a publicity stunt for his film school. Tollywood should seriously consider Nag’s word in order to make exceptionally brilliant movies.
Prabhas dubbing for Manchu Vishnu in Denikina Ready !
Rebel Star Prabhas who is currently busy with the shootings of Rebel and Varadhi, had found time for his friend, Manchu Vishnu. He is dubbing for a few dialogues in Manchu Vishnu’s upcoming movie Denikaina Ready. There are certain scenes in this film in which Vishnu tells dialogues like Prabhas.
The climax shoot of the movie is complete. The talkie part is almost over. The shooting of 3 songs is left.Hansika Motwani is playing the love interest of Vishnu in the movie. G Nageswara Reddy who has directed many comedy flicks in the past is directing this entertainer. Chakri composed music. Yuvan Shankar Raja also composed a couple of songs. MS Narayana’s son Vikram is doing a negative role in this movie. Mohan Babu produces this film on 24 Frames Factory banner. This film is also going to be released in Tamil simultaneously.
Sharmila shocks public with her statement !!
Reacting to the allegations of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu that Jagan’s palatial house has 80 bedrooms, YSR Congress star campaigner Sharmila clarified that her brother’s Lotus Pond house in Banjara Hills has just four bedrooms.
On the luxury palaces in Bengaluru, Sharmila agreed that her family has two houses there by saying – one among them is a farmhouse in a agricultural land and the other is their official residence which has just five bedrooms. She even said that CBI had already recorded everything inside their residences and if still anyone have doubts they could check the facts.
Sharmila’s version not only shocked Jagan’s opponents, but also her party leaders. How can a mansion in Bengaluru which is spread over a 90,000 sq ft area be having only five bedrooms. Leaving aside the media speculations and Sharmila version, no one can ever know how vast the Jagan’s house is, until CBI exposes the recorded stuff.

Mohan Babu invited Chiranjeevi for Dinner
Mohan Babu and Chiranjeevi who have been often found to be exchanging verbal arguments have been spotted chatting for long time during the Maa awards function. As per the talk it seems Mohan Babu has appreciated Chiranjeevi about the way in which Ram Charan’s wedding event has been planned and implemented.
Chiranjeevi also seemed very pleased for the wedding has gone on as everything was planned without any obstructions or disappointments. Results of by poll elections did not seem to be affecting Chiru as much was expected and even if it did he has taken care to see that this did not show on his face due to the success of Ram Charan’s function.
As per the information Mohan Babu seems to have invited his entire family along with the new couple for dinner which even Chiranjeevi seems to have accepted the proposal stating that they will fulfill his wish when everyone are in Hyderabad. When things are going fine there are people who spread news that these both actors are on verbal disagreement but it seems as if their friendship has only increased as time passes on.
Superstar Rajesh Khanna in Critical Condition !
All’s not well with Hindi filmdom’s original superstar Rajesh Khanna. The actor, recently seen in a TV ad, has stopped intake of food the past few days, while his estranged wife Dimple Kapadia is taking care of him.
“He is not able to have his food. Khaana muh pe nahi jaa raha hai (The food is not going into his mouth),” his manager Ashwin told, but didn’t confirm if the actor will be admitted to a hospital soon. Popularly known as ‘Kaka’, Rajesh Khanna went through a health scare in April too. He was hospitalised following uneasiness back then.
His current ill health brought his younger daughter Rinke to Mumbai Wednesday morning. “Rinke and her mother Dimple Kapadia are by his side and taking care of him,” said Ashwin. Dimple and Rajesh Khanna’s elder daughter Twinkle is expecting her second baby with Bollywood star Akshay Kumar.
Rajesh Khanna, touted as Hindi cinema’s “first superstar”, began his acting career with “Aakhri Khat” in 1966 and rose to prominence with his performances in films like “Raaz”, “Do Raaste” and “Aradhana”. He earned his title following 15 consecutive solo super hits between 1969 to 1972.
Ram Charan-Upasana honeymoon at Florence, Italy !
Newly married couple, actor Ram Charan Teja and his bride Kamineni Upasana, have had a short three-day, but delightful honeymoon at designer Salvatore Ferragamo’s ranch in Florence, Italy.
The southern star, son of actor-turned-politician K. Chiranjeevi, tied the knot with his long-time girlfriend Upasana, grand-daughter of Pratap C. Reddy, chairman and co-founder of Apollo Hospitals, June 14 and took off for Italy June 17.
Their original plan was to have a quick honeymoon in India since Ram Charan needed to return to work next week, but when they received an offer from the Ferragamo family, they couldn’t resist.
“We’ve been invited here by Salvatore’s family to their ranch outside Florence. It’s a 200-acre farm with only five villas for guests,” Ram Charan said from Italy.
He says it has served their requirement of a peaceful honeymoon.
“It’s very quiet here. The only entertainment we have is horse riding, wine-tasting in vineyards and trekking in their awesomely huge ranch. Upasana and I are in a state of bliss,” he added.
If grapevine is to be believed, Ram Charan wanted to put off the honeymoon for later when there would be more time for the couple to take off, but Upasana was keen to go on it immediately.
Nevertheless, the couple is enjoying themselves.
“At the moment I’ve managed a 3-day break. So I’m spending time with my wife in Italy. We’ve also visited the St Peter’s Church in Vatican City. Just three days earlier we were at Tirupati. The spiritual journey of our wedding seems complete,” said the actor, who will be seen in the remake of 1973 classic “Zanjeer”.
Did Chiranjeevi neglect his dear brother?
Megastar Chiranjeevi is deliberately being targeted by some sections of media in the recent past. They are targeting him in the name of highlighting Pawan Kalyan. For some reasons media started to focus Pawan Kalyan and in this process it is belittling Chiranjeevi. Gabbar Singh’s mighty success is also playing big role in it.
Gossip media blames Chiru as a selfish man who doesn’t even care to help his brother. It is being circulated that Pawan Kalyan has bailed Nagababu out of Orange losses when Chiranjeevi didn’t mind to. We don’t know if Pawan really helped Nagababu or Chiranjeevi hasn’t. But one thing is clear that Chiranjeevi gave many a chance to make his brother rich. When Ram Charan was the hottest property in Tollywood after Magadheera’s historic success, Chiranjeevi gave his son’s dates to Nagababu. But he failed to capitalize on it.
Chiranjeevi also gave his dates to Nagababu in those days when he was on the top. But Nagababu didn’t make good use of it. His choice of subjects has to be blamed for it. Even Pawan Kalyan did only one film with Nagababu till date. Except for Gudumba Shankar Pawan didn’t do any film in Anjana productions. He could have given his dates to Nagababu right after Gabbar Singh, but he didn’t. Our media should stop being one sided and stop targeting Chiranjeevi unnecessarily.
Star Directors working with Bandla Ganesh to reach Pawan !
Standing tall among the new generation of big budgeted producers, Bandla Ganesh is the target of star directors now. They say it is the effectiveness of the ‘drug’ he using.
It is a double dhamaal for producer Ganesh after ace director Sreenu Vytla signed two back to back films with him. After finishing ‘Baadshah’, Vytla will be doing another flick for him. Ganesh is said to be using a drug called ‘Pawan Kalyan’ to lure all these star directors. As many makers are dying to work with Pawan, they are associating with Ganesh as a first step.
PowerStar card is helping this producer to sign some directors at cheaper prices too. Talk is that Ganesh is the one to set that long pending project between Pawan and Puri. It is for this reason, Puri Jagan is doing his next with this big-fat producer after finishing ‘Cameraman Ganga tho Rambabu’ We have to see how long the effect of this drug works for Ganesh, as film industry will not give a Midas-touch for a long time.
Uday Kiran comming as Police Officer !
The only tough thing in tinsel town is to stabilize your success and stay in top position for quite a time. This is made possible only by few superstars and mega stars, while rest are still trying to pursuing it.
Uday Kiran needs no introduction about stardom in Telugu Film Industry. He rose to a top all of a sudden and has fallen from that position swiftly. Till then he is trying to score points, but the negative marking made him a senior flop hero. Though Uday is part of some good flicks in the recent past, he never got blessed by Tollywood. Shedding his lover boy image, he is all set now to enthral as a tough cop in his upcoming movie.
This is will be an acid test for Uday Kiran, after which it is better for him to retire from the circuit rather losing whatever the little respect he is commanding still.
Ileana’s 3 Films Releasing at a Time !
Ileana has been out of action for so long. Although she has been busy with various films, she was not seen on Telugu screen since Nenu Naa Rakshasi. After a hiatus now the actress is coming up with two projects at a time. Julayi and Devudu Chesina Manushulu are lined up for release in July. Ileana played the female lead in both the films.
Besides these Telugu projects Ileana has Barfee in Hindi. She is making debut in Bollywood with this Ranbir Kapoor starrer. With too many films reaching the final stage of shoot, Ileana is too busy to find to time to promote her movies. That is the reason why she was not present at Julayi audio. She was busy with Barfee shooting on that day.
Ileana hopes that all these three films click at the box office and fetches her good hits. However, she needs to work extra time to help the movies to get good publicity from her side. Having three releases at a time and that too in different languages is a bit of overdose and Ileana may not be feeling the pain as it tastes sweet!
Will Ram Charan act in his direction ?
The news of sequel to yesteryear classic ‘Jagadeka Verudu Athiloka Sundari’ surfaced again with the announcement made by Producer Ashwini Dutt at the recent CineMAA Awards ceremony.
Ashwini Dutt showered praises on director K Raghavendra Rao at the CineeMAA Awards, when the latter was honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to the Telugu Cinema. Reminding that KRR’s 80 films were hits (out of 105 or so), Dutt described the director as ‘Bhagawadh Gita’ for Telugu box office. He even went ahead and expressed his desire to make the sequel for ‘Jagadeka Verudu Athiloka Sundari’ in the direction of Raghavendra Rao.
Of course, Ram Charan will the ideal choice to play the role of Raja in the sequel of JVAS. But will Charan act in the direction of K Raghavendra Rao, who is not in the best of forms from sometime now, is the big doubt in everyone’s mind. Everything depends on the decision of Chiru who has a great rapport with KRR. Let’s hope for the best!
Chiru is Fooled by Lady Minister ?
Star Campaigner of Congress is still unable to digest the fact the people have taught him a lesson at Tirupathi. However, the hand of a lady minister is also suspected in this outcome.
Chiranjeevi is shocked when Congress has lost by-poll in Tiruapathi constituency. It is heard that minister Galla Arunakumari played a key role in defeating the contestant of their own party. The minister has not encouraged her supporters during the campaigning, says an unconfirmed report. Because, Galla’s son Jaydey is declined a ticket by CM Kiran for giving it to Chiru’s candidate Venkataramana. After announcing candidate, Galla has promised to work for party even though her son is denied a ticket. In that way, she fooled Chiru rather exciting cadres at root level for Congress’ win.
However, sources close to Galla has breathed fire after listening to these allegations. They say that there are pure anti-vibes against Chiranjeevi in Tirupathi and that forced people to look for alternative in YSR-C contestant.
Non-Bailable Arrest Warrant To Chiranjeevi
For contempt of Court’s orders, Megastar Chiranjeevi is issued a warrant today. This came as a shock for the ruling Congress party.
A Tamilnadu court has issued today a non-bailable arrest warrant to Chiru for not attending the session in connection with Election Code violation case. Way back in 2011, Chiru has campaigned on behalf of Congress candidate Gopinath in Hosur, Tamilnadu. For using excessive number of vehicles than allowed, EC has slapped a notice to Megastar. As he failed to attend, a police case was registered in Bhagaluru station under sections 188, 143 against Chiru and six others. He is supposed to attend court last year on July, 2011 in connection with this. But our busy-bee avoided that a couple of times and is asked finally to appear before Hosur court on 7th May 2012. With Chiru failing to turn up again, the Court has issued warrant today.
After Tirupathi defeat in the recent by-poll, this is the second punch for Chiru in the latest times. It is heard that the top hero is in talks with big-wigs of high command to get rid of this case. But, the case being lodged in a Tamilnadu court, it will come tough for Chiru to handle.
Allu Arjun to try his luck in Tamil?
Stylish Star Allu Arjun is a rock star in Malayalam cine industry and commands huge following there. And now, he is planning to make his debut in Kollywood with a new film to be directed by M.Rajesh, who has recently acquired hattrick hits with Udhayanidhi and Hansika starrer OKOK
Allu Arjun is quite interested in debuting to Kollywood and has thoroughly reported his producers not to dub his films to Tamil version as he wanted to impress the audience through a Tamil. In a TV interview, director Rajesh has claimed, “I’m penning a script for Allu Arjun that would take shape soon. Arjun has recently saw OKOK and totally enjoyed the film.”
So, in all probability we might see our Stylish star making his debut there.
No Regrets for break up with Nayan : Prabhu Deva
The biggest mystery which has been surrounding many is the fairytale romance of Prabhu Deva and Nayantara and how it went Kaput with no words being spoken. While many have been trying hard to know the reasons, it appears that one man doesn’t seem too concerned about all that.
He is Prabhu Deva. Recently he was sharing his thoughts when he reportedly mentioned that his maturity and wisdom prevents him from speaking about the issue. However, he reiterated that he has ‘moved on’ and that’s why relocated to Mumbai. From his end, everything is over.

Prabhas Rebel Movie First Looks & Audio Release in July
Prabhas upcoming film Rebel that has been under production from long time is finally expected to release in the month of August.
Meanwhile, here is the latest buzz that director Raghava Lawrence is planning to launch the Rebel first look and audio in July. It is known that Lawrence himself scored the tunes for Rebel after Thaman reportedly walked out of the film.
The next schedule of Rebel is taking place in Bangkok and with this the shooting gets almost completed. The film is being produced by Bhagawan and Pulla Rao on Balaji Cine Media banner.
Andhra Pradesh likely to vote for Pranab Mukharjee !
There is likely to be a near consensus among major political parties in Andhra Pradesh for the candidature of Pranab Mukherjee in the forthcoming presidential election.
Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen, an ally of the UPA, has begun lobbying for a consensus on Pranab among the political parties. On Tuesday, MIM president and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi called on YSR Congress party chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy at Chanchalguda jail and appealed to him to extend his party’s support to the Finance Minister’s candidature.
Owaisi said Jagan had given a positive response and said he would definitely consider the MIM suggestion on presidential polls.The MIM president, however, hinted that he might back the Congress government in the state in the event of a crisis. He said the people had given the mandate to the Congress party to stay till 2014.The MIM president is likely to meet Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu in a day or two to seek his party’s support for Pranab.
The TDP, which has six Lok Sabha members, four Rajya Sabha members and 86 MLAs, is also said to be favouring the candidature of Pranab, as it would not like to support an NDA candidate and there is no candidate on behalf of a non-existing Third Front.
According to TDP sources, Naidu would have supported former President A P J Abdul Kalam, had the latter agreed to contest the presidential polls. Since Kalam opted out of the race politely, Naidu has no option but to support Pranab.
On the other hand, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi, too, is most likely to support the candidature of Pranab Mukherjee. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is learnt to have called up TRS president K Chandrasekhara Rao personally and sought his party’s support to UPA’s candidate. And the TRS president is said to have given him a positive assurance. The Telangana party has two MPs and 17 MLAs.
Controversial guru Swami Nithyananda’s Ashram Unsealed
Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam of controversial godman Nithyananda at Bidadi in neighbouring Ramanagara district was unsealed on Tuesday, a week after it was locked on the orders of Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda.
The keys were handed over to the Bidadi Ashram administration by Ramanagara Revenue and Police officials. “Unsealing was done as per the DC (Deputy Commissioner) order. It (locking of Ashram) was not (no longer) needed”, Ramanagara Superintendent of Police, Anupam Agarwal, told PTI by telephone.
Gowda had also ordered Nithyananda’s arrest following an alleged attack by his devotees at the Ashram on mediapersons of a news channel when they went there to attend a press conference convened by him on June 7.
