Politics is all about winning, losing and taking revenges. Right now, it is pretty clear as per exit poll survey that YSR Congress is going to top the show in by-polls. But, is this is a good sign for them if the ruling party loses miserably?

Political Analysts say, it is not a good sign for YSRC! If the Congress loses this by-polls, then their leaders will not sit idle and there are chances for the Centre to intensify their investigation on Jagan’s disproportionate assets from now. CM Kiran might cancel all the deals that are doled out to help investors of Jagathi with his pen power. If that happens, some investors will turn ‘approvers’ in the CBI investigation as they have already lost government deals and will lose their money pushed into Jagan’s companies. So, before quitting the state, Congress government will try to push YSR-Congress into neck deep troubles. Off late, more than the corruption done by Cong ministers and MLAs, trouble created by Jagan will be considered as a big blow by the high command.

Even though if most number of MLAs migrate to YSR Congress, they may tumble within an year or so as their driving force will be forced to sit in jail for years. Already, Enforcement Directorate is put in place to move Jagan out of Hyderabad. Sources say that Cong will not just focus on Jagan, but will look into the matters of other YSR-C leaders too. Let us see what happens.

In the worst-ever accident in the history of Viskhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP), 16 workers , including some officers, were burnt alive following a huge explosion in the recently commissioned oxygen plant in the steel melting shop III unit on Wednesday night. About 20 workers were injured. The explosion occurred when the officials were conducting a trial run of the oxygen plant. Most of those killed on Wednesday night were contract workers.

At the time of the accident, 31 workers, including DGM-level rank officers, were in the shift. Sources say that the death toll is likely to go up as nobody knows as to how many workers stayed close to the oxygen plant at the time of the mishap. After the massive blast, a huge fire raged across the plant. All the workers and officials present in the oxygen plant were charred to death. The oxygen plant was completely gutted as huge flames swept through the unit. The injured suffered 80-90% burns. The Seven Hills Hospital was filled with the cries of the injured workers screaming in agony.

The new SMS III wing, which was constructed as part of the expansion works of the plant, was commissioned recently. The trade unions and the workers were searching for the bodies at the accident spot while fire fighters were trying to control the fire. Raju, an eye witness, said 10 bodies have been taken out from the charred remains of the gutted plant. “We have never heard of such a tragedy in VSP history,” Shankar, a worker, who escaped the fire, said.

We often see actors playing dual roles in films, but in reality finding a lookalike is a tough task. The TDP leaders, however, succeeded in discovering the lookalike of their party president. TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu and party leaders were in a state of shock for a moment, as a very unusual thing has happened in their presence.

When Chandrababu was campaigning for the party’s win in the ensuing by-polls in Tirupati few days back, a person who looks like him came to the meeting to meet him. Looking at the duplicate Babu, party men including senior leaders Gali Muddukrishnam Naidu and MP Siva Prasad were taken aback in surprise. Even Chandrababu was shocked to find many similarities between him and the duplicate. In fact, No one could differentiate them if they stand side by side.

Meanwhile, few of the party leaders introduced the duplicate as Rukmamgadha Babu to Chandrababu. Rukmamgadha who is a native of Tirupati is an die-hard fan of the TDP Chief. Chandrababu gave a hearty laugh looking at his duplicate from very closely distance and felt happy with the arrangement of party leaders to surprise him.

From the past few days, Media is extremely busy covering the by-poll developments in the state. And so, there are no updates about YS Jagan’s activities in the Chanchalguda central prison. As the polling ended on Tuesday, all the cameras were now turned towards the YSRC Chief. Here are few updates…

As per the jail authorities, VIP prisoners in Chanchalguda are entitled to spend Rs. 3,000 per month on tokens to buy packaged foods and soft drinks in the canteen, from the money deposited by the family members in their accounts. Although, Jagan has Rs. 4,000 in his account, he hasn’t used a single rupee till date.The other special class prisoners in his barrack are supplying everything he wants, from time to time.

In Sunil Reddy’s account there are Rs. 15,000, Koneru Prasad has Rs. 4,000, Gali has Rs. 32,000, Nimmagadda Prasad has Rs. 3,000, Vijay Sai Reddy has Rs. 9,000, Mopidevi has Rs. 10,000, Brahmananda Reddy has Rs. 600. All the VIP prisoners are spending their entire money (Rs. 3,000/month) on mineral water bottles and soft drinks.

Slowly, Jagan is getting used to the jail life. During his early days, he used to be very reserved. But now, he is spending time interacting with other inmates, having tea with them and playing badminton twice a day. Whenever he gets a chance to interact with the jail security officers, the first question he asks is, to which district they belongs to and later inquires about his party’s position in those districts and constituencies. Some say, Jagan is using Jail Officers as Courier Boys to gather as much information as possible. Hope this info gives him relief and helps him analyze his party position all over the state.

Condom packets, Ganjai, several compact disks and some burnt magazines were seized by police at Nithyananda’s ashram.

Karnataka government on Wednesday passed orders to Ramnagar district joint collector and SP to conduct searches in Nithyananda’s Dhyanapeetam ashram in Bidadi. Around 50 police men thronged into the ashram and searched every nook and corner in the premises. Few hard disks and documents were recovered from the devotees of the godman. In the server room of the ashram, 20 computers, thousands of DVDs and 4 video cameras were found.

Ever since the Karnataka government hinted the arrest, Nithyananda went absconding. Police teams conducting searches at Tamilnadu, Madurai and Karnataka to nab him at the earliest. Rumors were making rounds that he is hiding in a luxurious resort.

YSR’s ‘atma’ and former Rajya Sabha member KVP Ramachandra Rao is not on talking terms with Jagan’s family for sometime now.

An incident which took place at the residence of Jagan has come to light recently. Few days after the arrest of Jagan, KVP has sent his wife Suneetha to Lotus Pond to console the family members of YSR. The YSR Congress chief’s wife Bharati was lone member in the house at that time, as YS Vijayamma and Sharmila were busy in by-poll campaigning.

Although Bharati remained silent, some of the relatives who were present there slammed Suneetha for ditching the YSR’s family when they are going through rough patch. They even questioned, where was she when YS Vijayamma sat on fast at CBI’s Dilkusha Guest House protesting the arrest of YS Jagan. With teary-eyed, Suneetha returned back!
