Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh has become a hot cake among trade circles. Distributors and Exhibitors are shelling out a bomb to fetch the screening rights of the movie. Dil Raju had bagged the Nizam rights of the movie for a record price. He is leaving no stone unturned to get the movie biggest ever release in the region. So, far 174 theaters are going to screen the movie on day 1. Out of which, 64 theaters are in Hyderabad city and remaining 110 theaters are from other districts. The list is expected to release as the release date draw closer.

Ram Charan finally got time to promote his recent hit Racha. Charan left to Mumbai right after Racha was released for the first schedule of Zanjeer. Later he came back to Hyderabad and completed an item song for Yevadu. After that he did a special chat show with his Racha costar Tamanna. Both of them had a whale of a time during this chitchat.

Comedy King Allari Naresh and Monal Gajjar’s latest release Sudigadu shooting is nearing completion. Only a song is to be shot which will be completed in few days.The entire film was shot in Hyderabad and recently Allari Naresh’s introduction song was shot with 45 dancers and 300 junior artists.

This film is a remake of Tamil hit Tamizh Padam, which was a spoof on Tamil cinema. The movie comes with a caption ‘Oka Ticket Pai 100 cinemaalu’. Sudigadu is a satirical take on the clichés of Telugu cinema with several spoofs on heros and hit movies. Sudigadu will release in June. This film is being directed by Bheemaneni Srinivasarao. Chandrasekhar D. Reddy is producing it.Sri vasanth is scoring music for this film. Audio will be launched in this month itself.

Ee Rojullo made with near to zero budget and with unknown faces went on to became a huge hit but the makers who made the movie with all the efforts did not reap the benefits completely. Not confident in marketing the movie, The makers had reportedly sold the TV rights of the movie to a person called ‘Satellite Ram’ for a sum of 30 Lakhs. The movie after the release made good success and Ram was able to sell the movie rights for a whopping 2 crore rupees there by making a profit of outright 1.7 crores.

It is sad the makers who worked hard to make the movie did not get benefited from the movie.

A cheating case was registered on Gabbar Singh producer Bandla Ganesh in Hyderabad. Going in to details, N.Subba Rao is the distributor who bought Teenmaar overseas rights for 2.25 crores. However, the movie prints did not reach US in time and the premieres did not take place which resulted in 48 Lakhs loss for the distributors. When they approached Ganesh to cover there losses, Ganesh had reportedly threatened them saying the name of Botsa Satya Narayana.

Up on police intervention, 4 months ago, Ganesh had agreed to pay 91.7 Lakhs as compensation for them but did not keep his promise till now. Finally, Subba Rao revealed all this to press.

Ram Charan who managed to score success through his recent venture ‘Racha’ has now got onto a very crucial project of his life. Once the film got a hit talk, few veteran producers/distributors who are seasoned in this field gave some story to the makers of ‘Ee Rojullo’ and took up the marketing and distribution role.

Since then, whatever profits are being made are reportedly going into their pockets while the producers are left with nothing. With middlemen and others eating away the profits, the producers of ‘Ee Rojullo’ are learning a bitter lesson that this is how the film industry works and this has disturbed them strongly. So, it is not just about making a good film but also about owning up all the profits which come with the film.

As we have already reported that King Nagarjuna will soon start a film in the direction of Dasarath. Now the latest buzz is that the movie is titled ‘Love Story’. Earlier, the duo delivered a super hit film Santhosham and now these two again are working together.
