Dragon or Bruce Lee? Title Buzz Around NTR–Neel Film Intensifies

Share

Even though there has been no official confirmation, fans have been widely calling NTR’s upcoming film with director Prashanth Neel “Dragon.” On social media, the name has gained strong traction, even as the production banner Mythri Movie Makers continues to promote the project with the working hashtag #NTRNeel.

Producer Y. Ravi Shankar and a few others have reportedly mentioned Dragon as one of the titles being considered, which further fueled its popularity among fans. However, the makers have not made any formal announcement regarding the final title.

Now, fresh reports suggest that the team is also contemplating the title “Bruce Lee,” as NTR’s character is said to carry shades inspired by the legendary martial artist. While the idea may align with the character’s persona, many feel the title lacks freshness.

The name “Bruce Lee” was previously used for a Ram Charan starrer directed by Sreenu Vaitla, which did not perform well at the box office. The title has also appeared in other Indian films over the years, making some fans question whether it would be the right choice for a high-profile NTR–Prashanth Neel collaboration.

With the shoot currently progressing at a foreign location and the team reportedly aiming for a swift completion to meet a planned release timeline, anticipation is building. Fans are now eagerly waiting for an official announcement to see whether the makers stick with the trending “Dragon” or opt for a different title altogether.

Mammootty Opens Up About Health Scare and Recovery

Share

Malayalam superstar Mammootty has opened up about a health scare that forced him to step away from films for several months in 2025. The veteran actor revealed that he temporarily lost his sense of smell and taste, an experience that deeply impacted him and changed his perspective on everyday abilities many people take for granted.

Speaking in a video released by The Cue during an event at a hospital, Mammootty reflected on the importance of basic sensory functions. He said eyesight and hearing play a crucial role in human life and noted that some people are unable to smell even while breathing. Recalling his own struggle, he shared that he could not smell or taste anything for a long period and is only now gradually regaining those senses. According to him, people truly realise the value of such abilities only after losing them.

The actor also described hearing as a blessing, pointing out that those who can hear often ask others to lower their voices, while people who cannot hear would never make such a request. He called hearing a “godly gift” that many fail to recognise.

Following the health setback, Mammootty took a break from acting to focus on treatment. During this time, rumours circulated claiming he was undergoing serious medical procedures, but he reportedly dismissed them as false.

Now back at work, Mammootty is currently shooting for Patriot, directed by Mahesh Narayanan. The spy action drama features an ensemble cast including Mohanlal, Kunchacko Boban, Fahadh Faasil, Nayanthara, Rajiv Menon, and Revathi. The film is slated for theatrical release on April 23.

He also has a packed slate ahead, including Padayaatra, directed by Adoor Gopalakrishnan and produced by Mammootty Kampany. The film is said to be based on the novel Randidangazhi by Thakazhi Sivasankara Pillai. In addition, Mammootty will appear in D55, starring Dhanush and directed by Rajkumar.

Lokesh’s ‘Pushpa’ Style Reply to Sri Lanka Trip Allegations

Share

There has long been a sharp rivalry between Sakshi and Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh. Over the years, the media outlet has published several critical reports against Lokesh, many of which he has publicly countered.

The latest controversy centres on Lokesh’s private visit to Sri Lanka, where he watched the India vs Pakistan match in the ongoing T20 World Cup. Sakshi aired a report alleging that crores of public money were spent on the foreign trip at a time when Andhra Pradesh is facing financial pressure.

An official clarification, however, stated that no government funds were used for the visit and that the trip was entirely personal, financed by Lokesh himself.

Reacting to the allegations, Lokesh chose a humorous and filmy route to respond. In a style inspired by the popular dialogue from Pushpa: The Rise, delivered by Allu Arjun, he wrote: “Flight ticket naade… match ticket naade… naa duddu tho match choosthini… nee duddu emaina karchu chesthina Jagan?”

By adapting the iconic “Pushpa” dialogue, Lokesh added a cinematic twist to his rebuttal, turning a political allegation into a viral moment on social media.

Allu Arjun to Host Special Party for Heroines at Sirish’s Wedding

Share

A grand wedding in a prominent film family is never a low-key affair — and the marriage of Allu Sirish, the third son of Allu Aravind, is turning out to be just that.

The celebrations have already begun in style, with the family recently hosting a lavish party in Dubai. And that appears to be just the beginning. Multiple events are reportedly being planned as part of the wedding festivities — exclusive gatherings for close relatives, intimate parties for dear friends, and separate celebrations for members of the film industry. Each event is said to carry its own unique theme and charm.

However, one particular party has caught everyone’s attention. According to buzz in film circles, Allu Arjun is set to host a very special celebration for his younger brother. What makes it stand out is the guest list — the event is reportedly being planned exclusively for film heroines, with no other guests in attendance apart from them. The Allu family will play host to this unique gathering, making it one of the most talked-about highlights of the wedding celebrations.

Inside Vijay Deverakonda–Rashmika’s Luxury Wedding Invite

Share

An exclusive video of the wedding invitation box of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna is currently creating a huge buzz online. The much-talked-about couple is reportedly set to tie the knot on February 26.

The wedding invite is far from a traditional card. It arrives in a premium gift box filled with thoughtfully curated and stylish items. The standout element is a perfume titled “National Crush,” a clear reference to Rashmika, who is fondly known by that nickname among fans. Alongside the fragrance, the box includes hand cream and foot cream, giving it the feel of a luxury beauty hamper rather than a conventional wedding invite.

Adding a personal touch, the hamper also features a stylish “Rowdy” brand T-shirt, linked to Vijay Deverakonda’s popular fashion label, making the invite trendy and youthful. A premium cashew box has also been included, blending modern flair with traditional hospitality.

Reports suggest that the wedding reception will host guests from both Tollywood and Bollywood. However, like the ceremony, the reception is expected to be a private affair with no media presence. It is said that either on the same day or the following day, a special lunch will be organised exclusively for the media, where the newlyweds are likely to interact and pose for photographs.

The elegant packaging and carefully selected items have already sparked widespread discussion on social media. The exclusive video offers a closer look at what is inside this much-talked-about wedding invitation box.

Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Swaroop RSJ Team Up for ‘Rambo’

Share

Young actor Siddhu Jonnalagadda is set to collaborate with director Swaroop RSJ, best known for Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya, for an upcoming film produced by Sithara Naga Vamsi. Titled Rambo, the film is said to revolve around an intriguing premise — the story of a Brahmin who turns into a detective/agent.

Siddhu, who recently faced setbacks with Jack and Telusu Kada, is looking at Rambo as a strong comeback vehicle. Though he had earlier announced projects like Kohinoor and Badass, the actor reportedly felt that Rambo offered a better script and has temporarily put the other films on the backburner.

On the other hand, Swaroop RSJ, after scoring a breakout hit with Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya, could not replicate the same success with Mishan Impossible. He had also initiated a project titled Vibe with Sundeep Kishan, later replacing him with Raja Goutham, but the film was eventually put on hold. He has now shifted focus entirely to Rambo.

Both Siddhu and Swaroop are said to be highly determined to deliver a blockbuster with this venture. The collaboration also reunites Siddhu with the banner that brought him massive success — he delivered back-to-back hits like DJ Tillu and Tillu Square under Sithara Naga Vamsi’s production. Expectations are naturally high as the trio aims to recreate that winning magic once again.

Anupama Parameswaran Reunites with Shaan for Psychological Thriller

Ess Kay Gee Entertainment and Benchmark Storytellers have announced a new feature film starring Pan-South actress Anupama Parameswaran in the lead. The project will be directed by Shaan and produced by Shivin Narang, Prerna Arora, and Kiran Ballapalli, in association with a leading studio.

Touted as an intense psychological thriller, the film marks the big-screen reunion of Anupama Parameswaran and Shaan after the phenomenal response to their superhit short film. The collaboration, which previously earned strong digital acclaim, is now set to scale up for a theatrical experience. Shooting is scheduled to commence in May 2026, while the title will be announced soon.

The announcement has been timed to coincide with Anupama’s birthday, with the makers extending their wishes and unveiling what they describe as the beginning of a powerful cinematic journey. Ess Kay Gee Entertainment recently released Jatadhara, further strengthening its growing production slate.

Prerna Arora, a National Award–winning producer, is known for backing acclaimed films such as Rustom, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Pad Man, and Pari.

Meanwhile, Anupama Parameswaran continues to enjoy strong pan-Indian recognition with successful films like Premam, Karthikeya 2, and Rakshasudu, further cementing her position as one of the most sought-after leading actresses across Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam cinema.

India Must Build AI, Not Just Use It: Kore.ai CEO Raj Koneru

Share

At the India AI Impact Summit 2026, Raj Koneru, Founder and CEO of Kore.ai, said India’s ambition to emerge as a global “agentic force” in artificial intelligence will depend less on adopting AI tools and more on building them. He emphasised that this transition will require a fundamental overhaul of the country’s education and skills ecosystem.

Speaking to Business Today, Koneru observed that most people currently use AI passively rather than creatively. “Most people use it as a consumer, not as a creator. So the education level and enablement are programs that need to be more adopted — not only at the professional level, but all the way from schools,” he said. He stressed that AI literacy in India remains inadequate for the scale of transformation required and called for large-scale initiatives to train engineers, doctors, and other professionals. According to him, artificial intelligence should be embedded into mainstream education as a foundational discipline, much like mathematics or science. “Everybody needs to know not just how to consume AI, but how to create with AI,” he added.

Addressing concerns about job losses, particularly in entry-level IT roles, Koneru said automation will reshape coding jobs rather than eliminate them. A significant portion of traditional coding may be automated, but the nature of work will evolve. The future skill set, he explained, will shift from writing code to defining specifications for AI systems, instructing them, and testing the outputs they generate. His remarks come amid growing debate within India’s technology sector over whether generative AI could disrupt the country’s labour-intensive outsourcing model.

Koneru also challenged the notion that India’s primary role in AI will remain limited to services. Instead, he argued that India’s real strength lies in its human capital and its ability to build applications at scale. “AI needs to be created. It doesn’t create on its own. Being able to build applications is the biggest strength of India,” he said, describing the opportunity as an “AI application mountain” rather than a traditional services market.

Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Hyderabad, Kore.ai integrates with more than 70 model providers, including systems from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Mistral AI. Koneru noted that the company does not build foundational large language models but instead focuses on orchestrating them to power enterprise workflows and autonomous agents. “We aren’t building foundational models; we are building the brains that run the enterprise,” he said.

He concluded that India’s role in the global AI landscape should go beyond service delivery to leading the development of AI-driven applications, reiterating his belief that the country can excel by transforming its vast human capital into a powerful engine for AI innovation.
