New Zealand Ends 36-Year Wait with Historic Test Victory Over India

Share

New Zealand secured a historic win against India after 36 years, defeating them by eight wickets in a Test match held in Bengaluru. Chasing a target of 107, New Zealand had a rocky start, losing a wicket early in their innings. However, strong performances by Will Young and Rachin Ravindra helped them recover and claim victory.

India’s initial performance was disappointing, as they were bowled out for 46 in the first innings. Despite this, they staged a strong comeback in the second innings, with key contributions from Sarfaraz Khan, Rishabh Pant, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma. Sarfaraz Khan’s century and the half-centuries from Pant, Kohli, and Sharma gave India a fighting chance, setting a competitive target for New Zealand.

New Zealand, however, built on their first innings success, where Rachin Ravindra scored 134, Devon Conway added 91, and Tim Southee’s quick 65 ensured a massive total of 402. This dominant performance allowed them to control the match despite India’s fightback. Social media erupted with memes and commentary on India’s defeat, with users targeting captain Rohit Sharma and coach Gautam Gambhir.

Some fans called for Virat Kohli to be reinstated as Test captain. Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah’s efforts in the second innings were widely praised, though the defeat still sparked plenty of online discussions and memes.

Love is Not in the Cab Air: Hyd Cabbie’s Bold Warning!

Share

Like a beacon in the bustling city of Hyderabad, a cab driver has taken a stand against the growing trend of couples using his vehicle as a romantic rendezvous. Fed up with the unwanted theatrics, he has cleverly employed a sign that reads: “Warning!! No Romance. This is a Cab, Not Your Private Place or OYO.”

The driver’s message, a humorous yet firm declaration, has quickly gone viral, resonating with many who have witnessed similar situations in their own rides. It seems that the allure of privacy and the convenience of a cab have led some couples to forget the boundaries of appropriate behavior.

While the driver’s sign is undoubtedly a lighthearted attempt to address the issue, it also highlights a growing concern. The sanctity of a public space, such as a cab, should be maintained, ensuring a comfortable and respectful environment for all passengers. The driver’s witty warning serves as a gentle reminder to couples that a cab is not a private hotel room.

It’s a mode of transportation, a space for getting from point A to point B, not a stage for impromptu romantic escapades. Let’s hope that this humorous message will encourage riders to be mindful of their surroundings and respect the boundaries of others.

Some of the signs read slogans like “Beard hatao, love bachao” (Remove the beard, save the love), adding a lighthearted touch to the protest.

The protest reflects the growing trend of various beard styles among young men, with some sporting looks inspired by movie stars or international trends. While many boys embrace these styles to stand out, not everyone is a fan, as this protest highlights. The girls made it clear that they prefer clean-shaven looks, adding a playful twist to the age-old debate of beard versus no beard.

The video of this event spread quickly across social media, gaining attention and amusing netizens. People reacted with a mix of surprise and humor, making funny comments about the unexpected protest. This unique incident has sparked conversations about personal grooming preferences, with the viral video continuing to gather views online.

It’s interesting to see how a lighthearted protest on a simple matter like facial hair could capture so much attention, making it a trending topic in Indore and beyond.
