Chiranjeevi Donates Rs. 1 Crore to Kerala CM Relief Fund Following Wayanad Tragedy
Recently, Kerala’s Wayanad district faced a severe natural calamity. Heavy rains and floods led to devastating landslides, destroying entire low-lying areas. Many people have lost their homes and hundreds have tragically lost their lives. The situation for animals has also been dire.
In response to this disaster, numerous celebrities have come forward to support Kerala. Megastar Chiranjeevi has also announced a significant donation of Rs. 1 crore to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. He expressed his heartbreak over the disaster and shared his prayers for the victims’ recovery.
Sharing about the same, he wrote, “Deeply distressed by the devastation and loss of hundreds of precious lives in Kerala due to nature’s fury in the last few days.My heart goes out to the victims of the Wayanad tragedy. Charan and I together are contributing Rs 1 Crore to the Kerala CM Relief Fund as a token of our support to the victims. My prayers for the recovery of all those in pain! ?.”
Other stars from different film industries have also shown their support. Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth have pledged financial assistance, while Suriya’s family has donated Rs. 50 lakh. Mohanlal is not only contributing money but also helping directly on the ground. Tollywood star Allu Arjun has donated Rs. 25 lakh.
