There is a lot of talk about the highly-anticipated visual spectacle ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. There are giant expectations on this movie which is all set to hit the screens on 27th June 2024. Rebel Star Prabhas is the lead actor in this movie and India’s biggest actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani are doing lead roles in this movie. Prabhas is playing the lead role of Bhairava in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.

A few weeks back, the team introduced Amitabh Bachchan as Ashwatthama. His look and appearance generated a lot of hype and fans are keen to see what Nag Ashwin has readied for them. Not just the audience but Amitabh himself is highly excited about this science-fiction project. He recently said that if there is one film he is looking forward to, it is ‘Kalki 2898 AD’.

Apparently, the makers are readying the first single and it will be out at the end of May or in the first week of June. The post-production works are going on in full swing and producer Swapna Dutt recently shared a funny story on social media. We can see her and the director having a conversation where Nagi says that all the CG guys left for elections and the producer asks who will be winning the elections while Nag Ashwin replies that he doesn’t care and wants his footage ready.

With an incredible cast and backed by Vyjayanthi Movies, it’s gearing up for its release at the end of June. Ashwini Dutt is the movie’s producer. Santosh Narayanan is the music composer while Djordje Stojilijkovic is the director of photography. As per sources, the legendary actor’s role is inspired by Kamsa in Hindu mythology.

Film industry folks usually don’t make public announcements regarding their political affiliations as a lot of money is involved. They don’t want their personal interests to meddle in their business. This is why many big names try to take a neutral stance even if they support a particular party. They don’t make it quite obvious. But senior producer Ashwini Dutt took a daring step and it is worrying the fans of Prabhas.

Ashwini Dutt Chalasani has been a Telugu Desam Party supported for a long time. He even made strong comments when Chandra Babu Naidu was arrested a few months back. Now, he openly stated his allegiance to TDP before the state elections. He said that Nara Chandra Babu Naidu’s victory is for the future of students, for the employment in future and development of the state along with the self-respect of the Telugu people.

These comments by ‘Mahanati’ producer went viral and Prabhas’ fans are worried about their hero’s film now. We have seen how YSRCP treats films of people who spoke against them. A lot of Pawan Kalyan’s movies faced troubles ahead of their release like stopping benefit shows, reducing ticket rates and others. ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is made on a grand budget by Ahswini Dutt. Considering that the movie is being made on a 500 crore budget, the ticket prizes should definitely be hiked. The movie is expected to release on 27th June and they predict that things will be quite bad if YSRCP comes back to power. But Ashwini Dutt has been open supporter of TDP for a long time and the people in power also will try to be professional immediately after the elections. What do you think?
