Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan recently had a pre-wedding ceremony, and in the pictures, she’s seen getting ready with the help of many women. She’s going to marry Nupur Shikhare in January.

Ira looked stunning in a red saree and floral jewelry as she prepared for the wedding ceremony. She shared pictures showing how women from both sides of her family came together to assist her. Her mom, Rina Dutta, and her fiancé, Nupur Shikhare, were also part of the celebration.

On her Instagram Stories, Ira shared a few glimpses of her look for the day. She wore a red saree with a golden border, a black halter neck blouse, and adorned her forehead with a big red bindi. She also wore minimal makeup and pink and white floral jewelry. There was a picture of her kissing Nupur, who was dressed in a yellow kurta pyjama.

Ira also shared close-up pictures of her hairstyle, featuring a bun adorned with a gajra. Other photos showed her surrounded by women who were helping her put on floral jewelry, bangles, and a traditional Maharashtrian nath. Her mom, Rina Dutta, was also seen in a pink and golden saree.

Ira is all set to marry Nupur Shikhare on January 3. She recently shared pictures from the kelvan ceremony where she enjoyed a feast and wore a pink lehariya saree. Her friend Mithila Palkar and cousin Zayn Marie Khan also attended the ceremony.

Ira and Nupur got engaged in November last year. It was a joyful celebration with close friends and family, including a dance by Aamir Khan on his song “Papa Kahte Hain.” Aamir praised Nupur, calling him a lovely and supportive partner for Ira during her battles with depression, and he expressed happiness for their strong connection and care for each other.

Tamil star hero Karthi is arriving with his landmark 25th film ‘Japan’ on 10th November. The promotions are underway and the movie’s heroine Anu Emmanuel is actively taking part in it. The makers did not reveal a lot about her character in the trailer or teaser. Directed by Raju Murugan, this heist thriller is arriving with a lot of expectations. SR Prakash Babu and SR Prabhu produced this movie while Annapurna Studios banner is releasing it in the Telugu states.

Interacting with the media, Anu Emmanuel praised the movie’s director a lot. She stated, “Raju Murugan is a very versatile director. Each of his films is different. Karthi Garu, Dream Warrior Pictures, DOP Ravi Varman, and GV Prakash Kumar, have all come together for this movie. Japan’s story and character are very unique. I have never heard such a story before. As an audience, I am very interested in watching such a movie.”

She called Karthi as a great human being and revealed how she had a great time working with him. The ‘Majnu’ actress said, “Karthi is an amazing actor and a team player. We used to discuss before doing any scene. Off-screen, Karthi is a great human being. This is Karthi’s 25th film, and it’s an honour to work with him. He takes a lot of care and is very supportive. Karthi is a great co-star.”

Talking about the USP of ‘Japan’, the lovely lady told, “ust watching the trailer and teaser makes you understand that Japan is a unique movie. No one has done such a role before, and I say this is the perfect film for Diwali. It is a film that provides a great theatre experience. Everyone must watch it in theaters. Japan is so crazy. It gives a new experience to the audience, and they will surely enjoy it.”

She did not reveal much about her character in the movie but claimed that is a good surprise to the viewers. Anu shared, “My role in ‘Japan’ will be a surprise element. I don’t want to reveal too much about it right now. I will be seen as an actress. My role is crucial in Japan’s life. There is a very interesting track between Karthi and my character. It will definitely entertain everyone.”

Also, she quipped that Sunil is her favourite actor. She revealed, “There are scenes with Sunil in Japan. Sunil is my favourite actor. I worked with him earlier on the movie Urvashivo Rakshasivo. He is a very versatile actor and played an excellent role in Pushpa. His role is very good in Japan too.” Talking about the dream role, Anu Emmanuel said, “You have to play roles that the audience likes. I wish to get some good characters and stories.”

Talented music composer GV Prakash Kumar is working on this film while Ravi Varman is the director of photography while Anbu Ariv are the fight masters. Philomin Raj is the editor of this movie. Actor Sunil will be seen in a vital role in the movie that marks the acting debut of popular cinematographer Vijay Milton. Vinesh Banglan, the National Award-winning production designer also worked on the movie.
