Vijay Deverakonda’s breezy romantic drama ‘Khushi’ has been making all kinds of right noises ever since it began. The posters and three songs that came out till date generated a very good response from the audience. As we know, Samantha will be seen romancing the Rowdy hero in this movie which is all set to hit the screens on 1st September.
Recently, Deverakonda took to social media and shared the censor certificate of the trailer. It is 161 seconds long and it was given a clean ‘U’ certificate by the board. Now, the team has officially announced the trailer release date with a romantic poster. The trailer will be coming out on 9th August and the makers wrote ‘Bringing a glimpse from a world full of love to give you tons of Kushi’.
Apart from Vijay and Samantha, we can see Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Lakshmi, Ali, Rohini, Vennela Kishore, Rahul Ramakrishna, Srikanth Iyengar, and Saranya Pradeep in key roles. Can Meher Ramesh Keep Up His Promise?
The pre-release event of Chiranjeevi’s upcoming mass masala entertainer ‘Bholaa Shankar’ was held on Sunday and it was attended by almost everyone in the team and a couple of noted directors were present all well. As expected, everyone gave massive elevations to the legendary actor and wished the movie’s team all success. The film will be hitting the big screens on 11th August and it is a remake of ‘Vedhalam’.
The expectations are not that high on this flick as it is a remake and Meher Ramesh being the director of it. As we know, Meher put on the director’s hat after a decade for ‘Bholaa Shankar’. His last film was ‘Shadow’ which was a disaster and the film before that was ‘Shakti’ which is still a nightmare for many. A lot of people have their doubts on this movie mainly due to Meher’s track record.
However, Meher Ramesh sounded very confident about the movie. He said, “I am one among the fans. I feel extremely fortunate to do a film with Megastar Chiranjeevi garu. Bholaa Shankar will remind us of Gharana Mogudu and Rowdy Alludu. The film will be a big mass feast for all the fans. The film will have all the elements that fans would expect from a Megastar film.”
Sounding confident is nothing new for Meher Ramesh as people still remember what he said at the audio launch of ‘Shakti’. But the result did not match his words at all. The trailer and songs of ‘Bholaa Shankar’ did not get the desired response and we need to see if Meher Ramesh keeps up his promises at least this time or not.

‘The Elephant Whisperers’ Director Lands In Legal Trouble!
Filmmaker Kartiki Gonsalves, who won the Oscar award this year for her ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ in ‘The Best Documentary Short Film’ category has landed in legal trouble now. Bomman and Bellie who were the mahout couple that featured in the documentary were the ones who sent the legal notices.
As per the PTI, Bomman and Bellie were credited as the ‘real heroes’ throughout the promotions and were introduced to celebrities and politicians in the same manner. The statement further reads that the filmmaker received financial benefits from the Tamil Nadu government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi too. The couple were promised a vehicle and a lump sum amount of money which they did not receive till date.
Pravin Raj who is a social activist lawyer who has known the mahout couple for over a decade has said, “Both Bomman and Bellie are disappointed with (Kartiki) Gonsalves, who had promised them monetary help as well as help with the education of Bellie’s granddaughter while making the film. But she now refuses to give even a fraction of the enormous profits made by the film.” He added that the filmmaker Kartiki has not been picking up their calls.
Sikhya Entertainment banner under which the documentary was produced has released a statement that says, “The goal in creating The Elephant Whisperers has always been to highlight elephant conservation, the tremendous efforts of the forest department and its mahouts Bomman and Bellie. Since its launch, the documentary has raised awareness of the cause and had a real impact on the mahouts and cavadis communities. Chief minister of Tamil Nadu M K Stalin has made donations towards assisting the 91 mahouts and cavadis who look after the state’s elephants, constructing eco-friendly houses for the caretakers and developing an elephant camp in the Anamalai Tiger Reserve.”
It further says, “The documentary has been celebrated by heads of state across India, and the Academy Award is a moment of national pride that has brought widespread recognition for the work of mahouts like Bomman and Bellie. All claims made are untrue. We have deep respect for all of the contributors of this story, and remain driven by the desire to create positive change.”

Disappointment For Mahesh Fans Again?
Ever since ‘Guntur Karam’ began, the movie’s team has been facing one hurdle after another. The actors are getting replaced, the DOP walked away, the shootings are getting postponed, songs are getting rejected and the script was rewritten. When the movie was originally announced, the makers announced that it will be coming out on the 28th of April. But they quickly changed it to 13th January 2024.
Many hoped that it would come out during the Sankranti season at all costs. But all the above-mentioned obstacles are making the fans worried. There are a lot of negative vibes around the movie and people hoped that any update on Mahesh’s birthday might spread some positivity. But sources say that the fans are in for a huge disappointment as the song that was supposed to come out on 9th August has not been okayed yet and the makers might release nothing but just a birthday poster.
With nothing left to do, fans are hoping for any kind of update from Rajamouli with whom Mahesh will be working next year. Their excitement on ‘Guntur Karam’ is slowly fading away and they are more interested in celebrating the re-release of ‘Businessman’ now. It is high time that the team of ‘Guntur Karam’ steps up and delivers something fresh in order to bring the hype back.
Sreeleela and Meenakshi Choudhary are the heroines in this movie. Veterans like Jayaram, Prakash Raj, Jagapathi Babu and others are playing key roles.
