Keerthy Suresh Shocks Anchor Suma With Her Answer!
With the team of ‘Dasara’ immersed fully in the promotions, the advance bookings are looking very encouraging. Natural star Nani did everything in his hands to promote this rustic rural drama all over the nation. He toured a lot of cities, held trailer launches, attended press meets, gave interviews in various languages and many more. The rest of the team including heroine Keerthy Suresh, Deekshit Shetty and director Srikanth Odela too joined him and tried to increase the hype over this flick.
As a mandatory promotion for Telugu viewers, top anchor Suma Kanakala interviewed the team and had a fun conversation. Keerthy Suresh was at her energetic best in this interview. As everyone knows, the movie is set in a rural Telangana backdrop and all the actors had to speak in that accent. While Nani himself claimed that it was a tough job and the director helped him all the way, Suma was curious to know how Keerthy Suresh managed to speak in Telangana.
Suma asked Keerthy about how the actress managed to get hold of such a spicy accent. Immediately, the ‘Mahanati’ actress responded by saying that she is spice tolerant because she is not from some place like Gujarat but came from the neighboring state Tamil Nadu. This instant answer shocked Suma and the viewers are also praising Keerthy Suresh’s spontaneity.
Santosh Narayanan has composed the music. Naveen Nooli is the editor while Sathyan Sooryan ISC is the director of photography. Avinash Kolla is the production designer. Dheekshith Shetty plays a key role in this movie while Samuthirakani, Sai Kumar, Zarina Wahab and others play key roles. Sudhakar Cherukuri has produced this film on a grand scale. Directed by Srikanth Oodela, the movie is set in the backdrop of Singareni coalfields.
It’s Prabhas Vs Mahesh Clash At The Box office!
Pan-Indian hero Prabhas and his team of ‘Project K’ have announced long back that their magnum opus will be hitting the screens on 12th January 2024. Despite the delay in shooting due to Amitabh Bachchan’s injury, the team is confident about the movie’s release on time. Deepika Padukone is the heroine while Nag Ashwin is making his huge sci-fi action thriller under Ashwini Dutt’s production.
Interestingly, superstar Mahesh Babu has announced that he will be arriving in theatres on 13th January 2024. The makers of #SSMB28 have released a mass poster and announced the release date. This confirmed that Mahesh and Prabhas will be at loggerheads during the upcoming Pongal season. There is a talk that even Ram Charan’s ‘Game Changer’ is eyeing at the same festive season but nothing has been confirmed yet.
Considering the current situation, Prabhas has a huge market across the country where as Mahesh is yet to arrive with a pan-Indian film. One would expect Prabhas to dominate the festive season but it is quite important for Prabhas is have a solo release as ‘Project K’ is being made on a massive budget of 500 crores. It is an experimental movie with a time travelling backdrop. Having a competition with Mahesh Babu might not be very beneficial for ‘Project K’ team.
As we know, both ‘Game Changer’ and ‘#SSMB28’ are mainstream commercial films with good content which makes them safe ventures if things go right. But films like ‘Project K’ need a lot of things to go in their favour and competing with star heroes is not at all advisable. Also, Prabhas is in dire need of a hit as his last two pan-Indian films ended up being disasters. His ‘Adipurush’ has a lot of negativity around it and his only hopes are ‘Salaar’ and ‘Project K’. Let us wait and see if any of these biggies decide to drop out of the Sankranti race or go ahead.
Raju’s ‘Malli Pelli’ Creating All Kinds Of Noises!
Veteran producer MS Raju who was known for bankrolling tasteful love stories ‘Varsham’, ‘Nuvvothanante Nenoddantana’, ‘Manasantha Nuvve’, ‘Aata’, ‘Pournami’ and others has always had a knack for picking up good subjects. MS Raju himself penned the story for his production ventures at times. He turned into a director for his son Sumanth Ashwin’s debut film ‘Tuneega Tuneega’.
After the success of ‘Dirty Hari’ and youthful romance ‘7 Days 6 Nights’, the senior filmmaker stunned everyone by announcing a movie titled ‘Malli Pelli’. Naresh and Pavitra who became a real life couple after a lot of controversies were selected as the lead pair. This film from MS Raju created a lot of buzz ever since it was announced and the marriage videos of Naresh and Pavitra which were claimed to be filmed for movie promotions went viral too.
This movie led to a huge debate in both Tollywood as well as Sandalwood. The latest news reveals that the movie is not going to showcase the romance between the senior couple but explores serious topics such as marriage, love and re-marriage. MS Raju is yet to come in front of the media and talk about ‘Malli Pelli’.
But it looks like the star producer who was once known for his refreshing love stories is going to raise some serious questions about the marriage system and love in old age. What grabbed everyone is the casting of Naresh and Pavitra as the main lead because they were in the news for the same reasons in the past few months. Let us wait and see what MS Raju has to offer with ‘Malli Pelli’.
Official: An Action-Packed ‘Chatrapathi’ Arriving On 12th May!
Young and talented hero Bellomkonda Srinivas is known for his action entertainers. The actor has been working on his Hindi debut for the last 2-3 years and the movie is finally hitting the big screens. As we know, he is the hero in the Hindi remake of Rajamouli’s super hit film ‘Chatrapati’. Mass director VV Vinayak will be making his directorial debut in Hindi with this film and it was made on a grand scale. VV Vinayak who launched Srinivas in Telugu with ‘Alludu Seenu’ took the responsibility of introducing him in Hindi too. Pen Studios has bankrolled this project.
The production works have been wrapped up and the makers are currently focusing on the post-production responsibilities. The team of ‘Chatrapathi’ has released a mass poster and announced that the movie will be hitting the big screens on 12th May. Though Bellamkonda Srinivas’ face has not been revealed, he is seen shirtless in this poster. He looks like a beast, flaunting his chiseled physique. He is seen standing in the water with a copper bowl in one hand, and there are injuries on his back. He wears sacred threads around his neck and on his arm. As Telugu movie lovers might know, this is a still from the iconic fight scene between Shivaji and Katraj.
Bellamkonda underwent a tremendous physical transformation to play a power-packed role in this movie. Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios is producing the project, while Dhaval Jayantilal Gada and Akshay Jayantilal Gada of Pen Marudhar Cine Entertainment will distribute the movie worldwide. KV Vijayendra Prasad who penned the story for the original is the writer for the remake version as well. Nizar Ali Shafi who worked for several Telugu and Tamil movies cranked the camera, while Bollywood’s upcoming composer Tanishk Bagchi scores the music.
The cast includes Sreenivas Bellamkonda, Sahil Vaid, Amit Nair, Rajendra Gupta, Shivam Patil, Swapnil, Ashish Singh, Mohammad Monajir, Auroshika Dey, Vedika, Jason and others. Let us see if this strong team did just to Rajamouli’s ‘Chatrapathi’ or not.
