Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja is giving a chance to young filmmakers and encouraging fresh talents through this ‘RT Teamworks’ banner. The latest product which is about to release from his production house is ‘Sundaram Master’. This entertaining film has Viva Harsha and Divya Sripada playing the lead roles.

Written and directed by debutant Kalyan Santosh, the teaser of ‘Sundaram Master’ came out recently and it is very refreshing. Harsha plays the lead role who tries to teach English to the tribals thinking that they are not literate. He finds out they are experts in English and are very fluent in speaking the language. His encounters with the villagers are very hilarious.

Harsha’s expressions are great and Divya Sripada too makes her presence felt. The teaser has given the premise but did not reveal much about the story. On the whole, ‘Sundaram Master’ promises to be a fun ride with a lot of talented artists. Ravi Teja and Sudheer Kumar Kurra are the producers while Sri Charan Pakala is the music composer. Deepak Yantala is the director of photography while Karthik Unnava is the editor.

Zero Buzz On SK’s Film Despite Promotions!

Talented Tamil hero Siva Karthikeyan is a star in Kollywood right now. His films are doing well in the Telugu market too. Films like ‘Remo’, ‘Varun Doctor’ and ‘Don’ got good collections and established a fanbase for him. He is arriving on 14th July with an interesting movie titled ‘Maaveeran’. It will be dubbed as ‘Mahaveerudu’ in Telugu.

The official trailer of this movie came out and the film’s unit organized a pre-release event in Hyderabad too. The movie is looking quite promising and the promotional content showcases that SK is coming up with something different once gain. But ‘Mahaveerudu’ is arriving with zero buzz in Telugu states.

The pre-release event did not generate a lot of buzz and the makers are also not trying to promote the film aggressively. When the hero gains a good market in Telugu, the makers usually do everything to capitalize it and get profits. But the team of ‘Mahaveerudu’ is not keen on upping the promotions and relying on positive word-of-mouth publicity after the release. We need to wait and see if the film gets a good response on the opening day or not.

Acclaimed director Mysskin will be seen in a crucial role. Madonne Ashwin is the writer and director of this film which is being produced by Arun Viswa. Bharath Sankar and Vidhu Ayyanna are taking care of the music and camera departments respectively while Philmon Raj is the editor. Aditi Shankar is the heroine while Sunil plays a key role. Saritha will be seen as Siva Karthikeyan’s mother in this movie.

Offers Fading Away For Tollywood Composers!

It is quite common to have music composers from other languages to come and work in Tollywood. Many composers like AR Rahman, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Vishal Sekhar, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, and Harris Jayaraj have hit albums in Telugu. Similarly, Tollywood composers like MM Keeravani, Devi Sri Prasad, Mani Sharma and Thaman have worked in Tamil and Hindi film industries. This is a trend that had been followed for many decades.

But lately, Tollywood composers are impressing Telugu music listeners. Many are complaining that the tunes of DSP and Thaman who are the top music directors in Telugu are getting repetitive and not addictive. With Keeravani limiting himself to Rajamouli’s films mostly and Mani Sharma fading away slowly, there is a huge vacuum in Tollywood. The filmmakers are looking at other options who are different from Devi and Thaman but the young composers are yet to prove themselves.

This is making them turn towards Tamil music composers. Anirudh Ravichander who is the top composer in South right now is busy with huge projects in Tamil and is working on SRK’s ‘Jawan’ too. He is the music composer for NTR’s ‘Devara’ and he is giving tunes for Vijay Deverakonda’s film as well. Malayalam composer Hesham Abdul Wahab is giving music for VD’s ‘Khushi’.

Apart from them, GV Prakash is working on a couple of Telugu projects which include ‘Tiger Nageswar Rao’, Vaisshnav Tej’s ‘Adikesava’ and he is the music composer for Nithiin and Venky Kudumula’s film too. He is giving tunes for Venky Atluri’s film with Dulquer Salman as well.

AR Rahman is expected to give music for Ram Charan and Buchi Babu’s film and there is a talk that Anirudh might work on Naga Chaitanya and Chandoo Mondeti’s film as well. Harris Jayaraj is composing music for Vakkantham Vamsi and Nithiin’s film along with Naga Shaurya’s next. Yuvan Shankar Raja is giving music for Vishwak Sen’s film.

While DSP and Thaman may have some big projects in hand right now, they need to up their game in order to survive in this race.

Rajamouli Shares His Riveting Travel Experience!

Superstar director Rajamouli seems to have enjoyed the hot summer in a cool way in Chennai in Tamil Nadu. Whilst he is busy with the script works of his upcoming movie with Mahesh Babu, he took a break for a month and explored various places in Tamil Nadu. He seems to have visited a lot of temples as well. He took to social media and posted a brief video showcasing the places they visited.

The places Rajamouli went to include Brihadeeswarar koil, Rameshwaram, Kanadukathan, Thoothukudi, Madurai, Srirangam and Darasuram. The ‘RRR’ director said, “Wanted to do a road trip in central Tamilnadu for a long time. Thanks to my daughter who wanted to visit temples, we embarked upon it. Had been to Srirangam, Darasuram, Brihadeeswarar koil, Rameshwaram, Kanadukathan, Thoothukudi and Madurai in the last week of June.

Could only touch the tip of the iceberg in the given few days. Exquisite architecture, amazing engineering and deep spiritual thought of pandyas, chozhas Nayakkars and many other rulers was truly mesmerizing. Whether the fine dining in Mantrakoodam, Kumbakonam or a kaka hotel murugan mess in rameshwaram the food has been marvelous everywhere… I must have put on 2-3 kilos in a week. After 3 months of foreign travel and food, this home land tour has been refreshing and uplifting.”

Coming to Mahesh’s globetrotting adventure drama, KL Narayana will be producing this film which is expected to go on floors in 2024. Movie lovers are hoping that Rajamouli delivers another Oscar-winning movie that will shatter a lot of records.

Buzz: Nani’s Collaboration with a Tamil Director for a Bilingual Treat?

According to insider reports, the talented Natural Star Nani is all set to collaborate with Tamil director Cibi Chakravarthi for an upcoming bilingual film. Cibi Chakravarthi gained immense popularity with his debut film “Don,” starring Siva Karthikeyan, which became a massive blockbuster at the box office.

Although the film was not known for its strong storyline, it was hailed as a youthful entertainer with a heart-touching climax. Having achieved great success with his debut venture, Cibi Chakravarthi had been rumored to work with Superstar Rajinikanth for his next project.

However, the young director clarified that these reports were untrue. Recent reports suggest that he is now in talks for a Tamil-Telugu bilingual film with Nani, although an official announcement is still awaited.

Nani, whose previous theatrical release “Dasara” was a massive blockbuster, crossing the 100 crore gross mark, is currently busy shooting for his 30th film. Directed by debutant Shouryuv, the film features the sensational beauty, Mrunal Thakur, as the female lead. Nani recently teased an update about the film on social media, sparking curiosity among fans. While the nature of the update remains unclear, it is evident that something significant is on the horizon.

Adding to the excitement, star actress Shruthi Haasan is also playing an important role in this film. Produced by Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Dr. Vijender Reddy Teegala under the banner of Vyra Entertainments, “Nani 30” is set to be a grand production.

Nani’s Next Film Considers Two Intriguing Titles

After the resounding success of his recent hit film “Dasara,” the charismatic Natural Star Nani has shifted his focus to his next venture, tentatively titled “Nani 30.” This upcoming film is an emotional drama directed by Shouryuv, with the talented Mrunal Thakur playing the female lead.

Nani recently announced that an exciting update about the movie will be unveiled soon. According to sources, the movie’s title trailer is anticipated to be released on July 13 or 14, which will heighten interest in the production.

It’s interesting to note that “Hello Daddy” and “Dear Dad” are reportedly two titles the filmmakers are debating for the movie. it remains to be seen which one will be selected in the end. Rajamouli Plan: Two Films, Eight Years?

Renowned director SS Rajamouli, globally acclaimed for his work on “RRR,” has already embarked on pre-production for his next ambitious project featuring Mahesh Babu. Referred to as #SSMB29, the film is expected to commence production in early 2024, with a slated release in late 2025.

Notably, Rajamouli’s father, Vijayendra Prasad, divulged that work on the highly anticipated “Mahabharat” adaptation will begin promptly after the completion of #SSMB29. Vijayendra Prasad, known for his remarkable scripts in Rajamouli’s directorial ventures, such as “Baahubali” and “RRR,” will contribute his storytelling prowess to this grand undertaking.

For Rajamouli, “Mahabharat” has long been his dream project. Intending to cast leading actors from various languages, Rajamouli envisions presenting this legendary epic on the silver screen through three or four distinct parts. Given the magnitude and scale of this endeavor, Rajamouli estimates that the project alone will span over five years.

While Rajamouli has received enticing offers from Hollywood production companies and studios, he has committed to completing Mahesh Babu’s film before considering any external projects. However, there is a possibility that he may collaborate with a major Hollywood studio for the realization of his ambitious “Mahabharat” vision.

When Are These Star Heroes Arriving?

With the change in recent times, every filmmaker no matter if they are making small-scale films or a pan-Indian project is trying to maintain a high standard in terms of content or technical quality. They are doing everything they can to meet the expectations of the audience. The makers are not minding if the production is getting late as they want to give a perfect output. But some films are taking years and years to get completed which is making the fans disappointed.

Some of the big-ticket films in Tollywood are becoming very late for release. Though have started long back, they are being too careful and slowing down the production process. Starting from casting to the script or the production output, everything is becoming a reason for postponement. The first film that comes to our mind is Pawan Kalyan’s period drama ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’. The movie was announced in September 2020 but the shooting wasn’t completed till date. No one knows how much of the movie was wrapped up.

Currently, Pawan is busy with his other projects like ‘OG’, ‘BRO’, ‘Ustaad Bhagat Singh’ and others. He is even busy with politics too but fans are still waiting for an update on ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’. At the same time, Prabhas’ ‘Salaar’ which was announced during the same time is all set to hit the big screens on 28th September 2023.

Ram Charan and Shankar’s ‘Game Changer’ has been announced in February 2021 and the shooting is still going on. The release date of this movie is yet to be announced and there is a talk that it might be arriving in the summer season of 2024. Koratala and NTR’s ‘Devara’ was announced in April 2021 and the movie took a lot of time to go on floors. The shooting started this year and it will be coming out on 5th April 2024. As we all know, ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ was announced on 4th May 2021 and the team is releasing updates regularly in order to keep the fans satisfied. The release date was not announced and some say it might come out in December while others say it may release in summer 2024.

On the other hand, Mahesh’s ‘Guntur Karam’ is testing the patience of the audience. Many are doubting if the film would get completed or not. The movie is facing a lot of hurdles right from the beginning which include delays in shooting, casting, re-casting, changes in script and others. The makers claim that it will be released on 13th January but we need to see how things turn out. It looks like Prabhas is the only big star who will be arriving in 2023.

Can VD Handle Everything Singlehandedly?

Young hero Vijay Deverakonda is in dire need of a hit right now. His ‘Dear Comrade’ was a commercial failure and he followed it up with ‘World Famous Lover’ which is a disaster as well. After that, he invested a lot of time and hard work into Puri Jagannadh’s ‘Liger’. He expected the movie to achieve pan-Indian success but it ended up being a huge nightmare.

With three failures, Vijay’s next flick ‘Khushi’ has to be a success. We know that it is a romantic drama which is written and directed by Shiva Nirvana. Star heroine Samantha is playing the female lead and it is a huge advantage for the movie’s box office prospects. But the health issues of Samantha resulted in a lot of delays in the film’s shooting.

After all the obstacles, the production has been wrapped up and the movie is all set to hit the marquee on 1st September. As we know, promotions are very crucial for movies these days. Usually, both hero and heroines promote the film together when the film belongs to the romantic genre. Sources say that Vijay might have to singlehandedly carry on the promotions for ‘Khushi’ as Sam recently dropped a bomb claiming that she will be taking a break for a year. This implies that Samantha may not be a part of the promotional campaign.

Vijay will be carrying a lot of burden with the promotions of ‘Khushi’ as he is also busy shooting for his other two projects with Gautham Thinnanuri and Parasuram Petla respectively. Let us wait and see how Deverakonda handles this situation.

Ram Thrills With His ‘Double Ismart’ Transformation!

The super hit combination of Ustaad Ram Pothineni and dashing director Puri Jagannadh is back again. After a blockbuster like ‘Ismart Shankar’, the duo has officially announced the beginning of their new project ‘Double Ismart’. The pooja ceremony was done and the shooting is beginning on 12th July. From the story to the characters’ design to the making, to the scale, to the span, to the budget, everything related to the movie will be doubled according to the reports.

As we are aware, Charmme and Puri will be bankrolling the project while Vishu Reddy is the CEO. It is well known that Ram has worked on Boyapati’s mass entertainer ‘Skanda’ till recently and it is going to hit the screens on September 15th. The shooting part has been completed and the teasers showcased Ram in a bulked-up mass avatar. His dressing, body, hairstyle, thick beard and everything looked different for ‘Skanda’.

With Ram beginning his work on ‘Double Ismart’ now, he is gone a thrilling transformation that will transport everyone back to ‘Ismart Shankar’ time. The actor sports a short and spiked hairstyle for the character. He appears in the stylish best avatar here. The prequel showed a chip inserted in his brain. There’s something in the double range in Double iSmart as the cut in his back indicates. It indeed doubles our curiosity.

Puri Jagannadh penned a story that will have a much bigger span and will be made with a high budget on a large scale with top-class technical standards. Puri will be showing Ram in a massier character than iSmart Shankar. The movie will release on 8th March 2024 on the auspicious day of Maha Shivaratri. The movie will have a pan-Indian release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages.
