‘Gadar 2’ Teaser: The Powerful Tara Singh Returns!

‘Gadar: Ek Prem Katha’ which was released back in 2001 was a sensational hit. The powerful portrayal of Tara Singh’s character by Sunny Deol blew everyone away and the movie ended up being a huge blockbuster. It gave the iconic hand pipe scene and many super hit songs. After 22 years, Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel are back with the sequel.

‘Gadar 2’ is all set to hit the screens on 11th August and the teaser has arrived a while ago. It starts off with a woman’s voiceover who says that Tara Singh is the son-in-law of Pakistan and he may take Lahore as dowry. We can see the Pakistan mob carrying the placards saying ‘Crush India’ and Tara Singh arrives from nowhere sending shivers down the spines of everyone around him.

After such an aggressive start, the teaser ends on an emotional note where Tara Singh is sitting in the midst of destruction and the touching ‘Ghar Aaja Pardesi’ song is playing in the background. The teaser manages to generate good hype on the movie.

Sunny Deol says, “‘Gadar 2’ carries forward the legacy of its iconic first part. It’s a blessing to be able to bring back one of India’s most loved family films. At its heart the film would always be an inspiring epic story of love, courage and patriotism. Hope the world welcomes Tara and Sakina again with open arms.” Produced by Zee Studios, ‘Gadar 2’ is produced and directed by Anil Sharma.

Heroine Ameesha Patel said, “The film was re-released on my birthday and my biggest gift was the love we received from our fans. We felt how strongly the film has been engraved in the hearts of the audiences. The teaser of ‘Gadar 2’ starts a new chapter in the story of Tara and Sakeena and we truly hope we fulfil the expectations of our fans, once again.”

First Look: Gopichand Looks Fierce As Brutal Police ‘Bhimaa’!

Macho hero Gopichand faced a huge disaster in 2023 with ‘Rama Banam’. The film ended up in huge losses. Gopichand is known for his mass action flicks and commercial family entertainers. He tries to maintain a fine balance between the movie. He is now working on his 31st movie and the makers released the first look poster on the occasion of his birthday.

He joined forces with popular Kannada director A Harsha for a unique action entertainer to be produced prestigiously by KK Radhamohan under his ‘Sri Sathya Sai Arts’ banner. Along with the first look, the team announced the film’s title as well. ‘Bhimaa’ has been locked as the title and the first look is quite intense and aggressive. Gopichand looks ferocious in the first look poster as a brutal police officer.

The ‘Yagnam’ hero sports a rugged look and the anguish is quite clear in his eyes. We can also see a bull in the background. The first-look poster designates Gopichand’s wild character in the movie. ‘Bhimaa’ is billed to be a massive action entertainer laced with a good dose of family emotions and other elements.

A Harsha delivered some good hits in Kannada and he is all set to make his debut with this flick. Ravi Basrur of KGF fame will be providing the music while Swamy J Gowda is the cinematographer. Ajju Mahankali provides dialogues and Ramana Vanka is the production designer and Kiran is the editor. The movie to be high on the action will have fights choreographed by Ram-Lakshman, Venkat, and Dr Ravi Varma.

The shooting of this film is underway in Aluminium Factory in Hyderabad. The team is canning a high-octane action sequence. The details regarding the heroine and other artists will be revealed soon.

Ananya Birla To Distribute 10,000 Adipurush Tickets!

Prabhas starrer Adipurush is a highly anticipated film that is all set to hit the theatres on June 16th. The film is carrying high expectations and the recently dropped trailer increased the expectations further. The makers of the film said that one ticket in every theatre will be blocked for lord Hanuman.

To make the film accessible for everyone, big personalities are coming forward to purchase tickets and give them to the students and others. Bollywood Superstar Ranbir Kapoor earlier announced that he would pledge 10,000 tickets for the upcoming film. Another big name joined the list now.

Ananya Birla who is known for her helping hand and supporting those who need the most came forward and announced that she will buy 10,000 tickets and distribute them. Her Ananya Birla Foundation provided meals to children in collaboration with others and also helped acid attack survivors.

To make more children watch the film to know more about our history and epics, Ananya Birla will purchase 10,000 tickets and distribute them to disadvantaged children’s organisations. Her initiative will help disadvantaged kids to watch the film and experience the cinematic brilliance offered by the Pan-India film Adipurush.

Adipurush is an upcoming film which is directed by Om Raut. The film is jointly bankrolled by T-Series, Bhushan Kumar & Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles, Pramod, and Vamsi of UV Creations. Adipurush is slated to hit the theatres on the 16th of this month on a massive scale.

Adipurush marks the first epic-based film in the career of the first Pan-India star Prabhas. He is playing lord Ram in the film and Kriti Sanon is playing Goddess Sita. Bollywood Star Saif Ali Khan played Demon King Ravana, while Sunny Singh and Devdatta Nage will be seen as Lakshman and Lord Hanuman respectively.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming action saga ‘Animal’ is one of the most-awaited projects in this country. With ‘Arjun Reddy’/’Kabir Singh’, Sandeep announced himself on the big stage and earned himself a cult following across the nation. Along with his film, the interviews he gave revealed his strong mindset and fierce attitude. He is being called as the real life ‘Arjun Reddy’ by many.

The pre-teaser of ‘Animal’ came out and generated a lot of hype. It showcased a rugged Ranbir Kapoor killing every masked goon with a claw hammer. The presentation and content was loved by many and critics were appreciating it too. But there are a few who are making allegations that Sandeep Reddy blatantly copied the scene from ‘Old Boy’ where the lead actor rips everyone in the corridor through a claw hammer.

The netizens should not be judgemental of everything and come to a conclusion after getting to see the movie. Ranbir Kapoor is the hero in this movie while Rashmika Mandanna is the heroine. The shooting has been wrapped up long back and the post-production works are in full swing. Anil Kapoor will be seen in a father role while Bobby Deol plays the villain role in ‘Animal’. After ‘Animal’ gets released, Sandeep will be focusing on ‘Spirit’. ‘Animal’ is going to be Ranbir Kapoor’s second release in 2023 after ‘Tu Jhooti Main Makkar’.

Doctor Couple Who Went To Indonesia For Honeymoon Died!

The two are doctors and got married recently. The wedding ceremony was a grand affair. Making their marriage even more special they went on a honeymoon. But things didn’t go as planned as the newlywed breathed their last. The heart-wrenching incident is of a doctor couple who are from our neighboring state Tamil Nadu.

Going into details, Vibushnia is a doctor by profession who hails from Senneer Kuppam near Poonamallee in Tamil Nadu’s Thiruvallur. She tied the knot recently with a person named Lokeswaran who is also a doctor. He is from the capital city Chennai. The couple went to Indonesia for Honeymoon. They went on a honeymoon in Bali to spend some quality time there.

The couple went on a trip on a speedboat on the 9th of this month. The boat they were traveling on lost control and they drowned in the sea. Things went upside down when the couple lost balance and drowned in water.

However, the locals managed to find Lokeswaran. By the time he was found, he was no more. But Vibushnia was not found. Her body was washed ashore on Saturday. As both bodies are found, the Tamil Nadu government is busy making efforts to bring the bodies for the last rites. The shocking incident brought tears to many.

Avika Gor Points Out At Nepotism In South!

A bias has been created for Hindi films, Bollywood films, where we judge whatever they make… this bias has developed over time. As someone who is part of the industry, we also understand that there was a phase where many South films were remade, so people thought we only copy films.”

She further added, “In the Telugu industry, nepotism is very evident. I mean, how are people choosing not to see it? I think it has been hyped a lot… and with time, I hope that social media will relax, and this issue will also relax.” Avika is all set to make her Bollywood debut as a heroine with ‘1920 Horrors Of the Heart’ which is releasing on 23rd June.

Balayya Sets a New Record with Salary?

In recent times, the Telugu film industry has witnessed a significant rise in the pay scale of its stars. The advent of the OTT platforms and the booming Hindi dubbing market has led to a substantial surge in film revenues, prompting top and mid-level actors to demand higher salaries.

While many actors have substantially increased their remuneration, Balakrishna has maintained a more modest approach to his salary demands. Prior to the release of his film “Akhanda,” his remuneration ranged around Rs 10 crore. However, following the success of “Akhanda,” he decided to ask for a slightly higher fee.

For his movie “Veera Simha Reddy,” Balakrishna received Rs 15 crore. In contrast, actors like Nani and Ravi Teja had already crossed the Rs 20 crore mark long ago. Despite his success, Balayya received a relatively lower amount for “Veera Simha Reddy” and his current film, “Bhagavanth Kesari.”

One distinguishing aspect of Balakrishna’s payment structure is that he takes only a small advance before the film’s release. The final remuneration is decided at the end of production, taking into account the producer’s situation and the film’s revenue.

However, reports suggest that Balayya will be receiving the highest remuneration of his career for his upcoming project directed by Bobby. He is set to be paid a whopping Rs 25 crores for this venture.

In comparison to other senior stars, Chiranjeevi stands as the highest-paid actor, commanding Rs 50 crores per film, while Ravi Teja earns Rs 20 crore. Nagarjuna and Venkatesh fall within the range of Rs 10 to Rs 12 crore. With a string of successful films, Balakrishna has now joined the league of highly paid actors, earning Rs 25 crores, placing him as the second-highest paid actor among the senior stars in the industry.
