My character has a lot of scope for performance: Daksha on Ravanasura
Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s upcoming film ‘Ravanasura’ is all set for a grand release on April 7. Ahead of the release, the makers have intensified offline promotional activities as well as online.
Daksha Nagarkar, who played the female lead role in Sudheer Varma directorial, has interacted with the media and spoke about the movie.
Expressing her joy over being a part of Ravanasura, the Zombie Reddy actress said that her character in the movie has a lot of scope for performance. She revealed that the audience will be surprised after watching her in an exciting role.
Besides Daksha Nagarkar, Ravanasura also features Anu Emmanuel, Megha Akash, Faria Abdullah and Poojitha Ponnada in female lead roles while Rao Ramesh, Sriram, Murali Sharma, and Sampath Raj will be playing supporting roles.
A Lot of Biggies Lined Up! How Many Will End Up As A Hit?
There are some big films lined up to hit the screens in April. Though not many star heroes are arriving, it is the Tier 2 heroes who are all set to test their luck at the box office. Starting from April to the end of May, some crazy projects are being lined up and it all starts with Natural Star Nani’s ‘Dasara’ which will be coming out on 30th March.
There are high expectations on this movie and Nani is hoping to join the 100-crore club with this film. On 7th April, Ravi Teja will be arriving with his high-voltage action thriller ‘Ravanasura’ and there is a lot of hype on this movie as well. Directed by a talented filmmaker like Sudheer Varma, the back-to-back hits scored by Ravi Teja in recent times will work in the favor of ‘Ravanasura’ and the fans are hoping for a hattrick.
On 14th April, star heroine Samantha Prabhu’s ‘Shaakunthalam’ will be coming out. Directed by Gunasekhar, this chapter of Mahabharatha will be filled with love and a lot of drama. There is decent hype on this movie and it will be followed by Sai Dharam Tej’s mystery thriller ‘Virupaksha’ which is arriving with good expectations. Story and screenplay are given by Sukumar while Karthik Dandu is making his debut as a director.
It is Akhil who will be arriving at the end of April with ‘Agent’. This massive pan-Indian movie will be releasing on 28th April and there are high expectations on it. The makers have spent heavily on this project and Surender Reddy is presenting Akhil in a never before manner. With a lot of noted actors, this spy thriller is one of the most awaited releases this summer. This is Surender Reddy’s first film after ‘Sye Ra Narasimha Reddy’ and we need to see how this film turns out.
Kajal Aggarwal joins the shoot of #NBK108
God Of Masses Natasimha Nandamuri Balakrishna and successful director Anil Ravipudi’s ambitious project #NBK108 being produced on a grand scale by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi under Shine Screens banner is fast progressing with its shoot.
The movie features the most happening actress Sreeleela playing a very crucial role in the movie. The actress joined the shoot of the movie early this month. The makers came up with an update that ageless diva Kajal Aggarwal is zeroed in to play the main heroine. She already joined the shoot today in Hyderabad. Interestingly, NBK108 is Kajal’s first movie with Balakrishna. The makers have also released a picture where Balakrishna and Kajal are seen hitting each other’s fists gently.
Balakrishna is playing a never seen before character and he sports a different look in the movie. #NBK108 will have Balakrishna mark action and mass element and Anil Ravipudi mark elements.

TS Additional Advocate General Reaches ED Office, What’s Up?
The central agencies are giving a special focus on the Delhi Liquor Scam. Not just the Central Bureau of Investigation, but the Enforcement Directorate is also digging deeper into the case and grilling the accused in the case. BRS MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha appeared before the ED officers earlier today which marks the second questioning session.
The ED started the questioning earlier today and it is said that the questioning is going on for the last six hours. No one understands what the officers are trying to get information from the Chief Minister’s daughter.
Now everyone wants to know what happens next in the case as the Advocate General for the Telangana government, lawyers Bharat and Gandra Mohan reached the ED office allegedly. The trio heading to the ED office raised many eyeballs.
Earlier today, when Kavitha went to the ED office, her husband gave her a send-off and supported her. Now the AG and lawyers representing her are headed to the ED office. Earlier the lawyers said they will take the next step after the Supreme Court gives its verdict.
However, Kavitha appeared before the ED office today. All eyes are on the MLC to know what happens next. After she skipped the ED questioning earlier, many media outlets said that there are chances of her getting arrested.
Adding fuel to this, AG and lawyers went to the ED office. Earlier reports say that the ED might have confronted Kavitha along with Hyd-based businessman Ramachandra Pillai in the case. Now the AG and others went to the office.
‘Bheeshma’ Combo To Reunite Once Again?
Young and dynamic hero Nithiin and lovely beauty Rashmika Mandanna worked together in ‘Bheeshma’ which was directed by Venky Kudumula. This movie came out on 21st February 2020 and turned out to be a good hit. The entertainment quotient made this movie successful despite a lot of loopholes.
Vennela Kishore’s comedy and Venky Kudumula’s dialogues worked in favour of the movie. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi produced this film under ‘Sitara Entertainments’ banner. This is Venky Kudumula’s second hit after ‘Chalo’ and he announced his next with Megastar Chiranjeevi under ‘DVV Entertainments’ banner. But it did not materialize.
Sources say that ‘Bheeshma’ team is all set to reunite once again. While Venky Kudumula and Nithiin are onboard, sources say that they are trying to bring Rashmika aboard too. Mythri Movie Makers is expected to produce this movie and the official announcement regarding this project is expected to arrive on 30th March.
As we know, Rashmika is working on ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ right now and she has Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ in her hands too. After these two projects get wrapped, Rashmika will be able to allot dates to Venky’s film. Nithiin does not have any projects in his hand right now and this movie will go on floors as soon as Rashmika becomes free.
Rashmika proved to be a lucky charm for Venky as she is the heroine in the two films he directed till now. With everything falling in place, the official announcement is the only thing the movie lovers have to wait for. Let us see if they score a hit once again or not.
‘Rangamarthanda’ Trailer: A Rollercoaster Of Emotions!
After a long time, Krishna Vamsi is coming with a movie titled ‘Rangamarthanda’. He took a brief gap after debacles like ‘Mogudu’, ‘Paisa’, ‘Nakshatram’ and others. He took the plot of Nana Patekar’s ‘Nata Samrat’ which was a Marathi film and made it for the Telugu audience as ‘Rangamarthanda’ with Prakash Raj playing the lead role. The movie is being promoted in a decent manner for the past couple of days.
Now, the trailer came out and it gives you an idea of how this movie is going to be. Prakash Raj will be seen as a famous stage artist who played a lot of great roles throughout his career and won the accolades of everyone but he is not that successful in his personal life as his family is not at happy with him. This instantly reminds you of ‘Aa Naluguru’ where everyone likes Rajendra Prasad except his own family.
But the screenplay and treatment are completely different. It looks like Bramanandam got a meaty role and it is not comical. He seems to have played a very emotional role. Ramya Krishna showcased her prowess and rest of the actors including Anasuya Bharadwaj, Rahul Sipligunj, Shivatmika Rajasekhar and others looked apt in their roles. The movie seems to be a complete emotional ride and many critics who watched the special screenings said that it will leave you in tears.
Music is given by Ilaiyaraaja while Raj K Nalli is the director of photography. Raja Shyamala Entertainments and Houseful Movies have produced this film and let us wait and see if Krishna Vamsi bounced back or not with ‘Rangamarthanda’ which is releasing on the auspicious occasion of Ugadi.
Dry Ugadi for Prabhas’s fans
Prabhas is working on multiple projects simultaneously but there arent many updates on his forthcoming films as of now.
Team Adipurush intends to start the promotions from this Sri Ramanavami and hence, there is no plan on any substantial update for this Ugadi.
We are now hearing that the makers of Prabhas and Maruthi’s upcoming film are also not planning any updates on the film this Ugadi.
Prabhas’s fans hoped there would be some update to celebrate this Ugadi festival day but that isn’t to be.
Prabhas has Adipurush and Salaar lined up for release this year. He then has Project K and the film with Maruthi up for release in 2024. He is also set to collaborate with Sandeep Reddy Vanga for a film very soon.
