KTR Is ok if Hyderabad and Bengaluru have healthy competition!
The southern part of India has been the heart of the IT sector. Places like Bengaluru, Chennai, and Hyderabad played and are playing a big part in boosting the IT sector. Looking at the boom the IT industry had in the late 90s and early 2000s, the government focused on IT and it paid back massively.
Compared to Chennai and Hyderabad, Bengaluru is having additional advantages making it the top priority for IT firms and others to invest in the city. However, despite all these, it is alleged that there are issues in providing infrastructure on par with the investments that come to the city.
Adding fuel to this, an entrepreneur took to social media to share the not-so-good experience he had in Bengaluru. In his long tweet, he had listed out the problems he is facing in the city.
His tweet had caught the attention of the Minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development of Telangana Kalvakuntla Taraka Rama Rao aka KTR. Replying to the tweet, he appealed to the unhappy entrepreneur to come to Hyderabad given the facilities the city has to offer.
However, KTR’s comment had raised many eyeballs in Karnataka as the Minister had invited the entrepreneur to shift to Hyderabad for his investment. Karnataka Congress president DK Shivakumar replied to KTR and said that Bengaluru will become the best city in the country. The Congress leader said that Congress will come to power in the next elections and the glory the IT hub had lost will be restricted.
Without getting offended, KTR said he is ok with Bengaluru and Hyderabad having healthy competition in creating jobs for the youth. However, he said, instead of hijab and halal let us focus on IT and infra.
KTR’s comments on halal and hijab came at the time when Karnataka is hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons related to the issues. Despite the High Court making it clear that wearing a Hijab doesn’t come under the essential practice of Islam, Muslim students are fighting for the same. The government is also not taking a back step and even the teachers were also asked to remove the hijab.
Hyd police fine Trivikram for violating rules
It is known that the Hyderabad traffic police are conducting special drives across the city and are imposing fines for traffic rules violators.
The latest news is that the traffic police stopped top director Trivikram Srinivas’ car at Jubilee Hills and removed the black film from the tinted glasses on his car. The cops imposed a Rs 700 fine for violating the rules.
The police have also imposed a fine on several Tollywood actors, such as Manchu Manoj, Jr NTR, Kalyan Ram, Allu Arjun, among others.
It is learned that the Supreme Court has recently directed that black film should not be used on vehicles by anyone other than Y category security personnel. The traffic police are currently conducting searches in the city of Hyderabad.
On the movie front, Trivikram will next direct Superstar Mahesh Babu’s 28th project, which is tentatively titled #SSMB28.
Niharika Konidela’s Instagram account deactivated post controversial pub raid?
TV host-turned actress Niharika Konidela hit headlines after she was reportedly detained on Saturday night for late-night partying at a posh pub in Hyderabad. The police have also seized different kinds of drugs like cocaine and weed at the party.
Now, her official Instagram handle looks deactivated although her official Twitter and Facebook handles are still afloat with her last post being in December, 2021. However, the reason behind this move remains unclear.
For the unversed, actor-politician-TV judge Nagababu has officially issued a statement on daughter Niharika being detained at a latest raid on a posh pub in Banjara Hills on Saturday night and her connection with the drugs case.
In the video, Nagababu stated that a raid was conducted on the pub for running beyond the permissible time limit. He further added that his daughter Niharika is ‘not at a fault’ as per the information he received from the police. “Our conscience is clear. Action was taken against the pub for running late. As per information from police, Niharika was not at fault. I’m releasing this video just because she was present at that time and we don’t want any unwanted speculations over this issue,” said Nagababu in the video.
For the unversed, Niharika, BB Telugu 3 winner Rahul Sipligunj along with 148 were reportedly held in a late night party at a posh pub in a luxury hotel in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad on Saturday (April 2).
On the career front, Niharika was away from television for a while now as she was focusing on her acting career. She hosted the shows Dhee Juniors and Gupshup in her brief stint as a TV host.

KCR goes to Delhi again!! What’s cooking?
Telangana CM KCR has reached New Delhi for a three-day stay there. This is KCR’s third visit to Delhi in two months. On both earlier occasions, he did not meet anyone in Delhi and did not even try to seek an appointment with the Prime Minister. Though it was said that he would discuss the paddy procurement issue, he did not even seek an appointment with anyone.
This time around, the CMO has clarified that it was a personal visit and that he would consult a dentist. His wife Shobha and daughter and MLC Kavitha Kalwakuntla are accompanying him. However, it is learnt that the CMO has sought the appointment of Prime Minister. But, there is no response from the Prime Minister. If it is the paddy procurement issue, he may be asked to meet the minister for agriculture.
Meanwhile, there are reports that he might meet some key RSS leaders to reach out to Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Sources say that he had tried to reach out to Shah earlier too, but the RSS leaders, who gave him the appointment, have cancelled it at the last moment. Whether he would be able to meet the RSS leaders remains to be seen.
During the last meeting he had also met BJP MP Subramanyam Swamy. However, what transpired at the meeting is not known. The BJP in Telangana has said that KCR’s Delhi visits are mainly for personal reasons such as treatment of his wife’s illnesses and tooth related issues of the CM himself. It said that the pro-TRS media and the TRS media machinery were trying to launch a fake news campaign over a personal visit.
Allu Bobby Asks Not To Compare His Brother & Megastar!
Allu Bobby is making his debut as a producer with Varun Tej’s sports drama titled ‘Ghani’. As a part of promotions, he gave interviews to a couple of channels and answered some interesting questions. The most notable among them was about the comparison of his younger brother Allu Arjun with megastar Chiranjeevi.
A lot of people these days are praising Bunny as the current generation’s Megastar as he scored humongous hits like ‘Pushpa’ and ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’ recently. His journey from a product of Nepotism to an Icon Star who gained national level fame has made some of his fans call him ‘Megastar’.
Reacting to this, Allu Boby said, “I will never compare Chiranjeevi garu with Allu Arjun. Chiranjeevi garu is an inspiration to everyone in the family. Even Bunny said that same many times. We should never compare ourselves with people who are our idols or inspirations.”
Talking about his brother Bunny’s career, he stated, “Bunny matured a lot of after ‘Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India’. He pinned a lot of hopes on that film but the film’s failure made him to take a gap of two years and rethink his approach when it comes to selecting scripts. It is the reason why ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’ and ‘Pushpa’ became such big hits.”
Coming to Bobby’s maiden production venture Ghani, Varun Tej will be seen as a boxer in this film which is directed by debutant Kiran Korrapati. Saiee Manjrekar plays the female lead while Kannada star Upendra and Bollywood senior star Suniel Shetty will be seen playing crucial roles in this project. Fans are eagerly waiting for this film to hit the screens. It is the 10th film in Varun Tej’s career while Sidhu Mudda and Allu Bobby have bankrolled this project under Renaissance Pictures and Allu Bobby Company banners.
Happening music composer Thaman is working on the music while George C Williams is the director of photography. Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor for this sports drama while Nadhiya, Naveen Chandra and others play crucial roles. After this, Varun Tej will be arriving with ‘F3’ on 27th May and it is made by Anil Ravipudi.
Combination of NTR-Anil Ravipudi-Dil Raju
NTR didn’t work on the banner of Dil Raju after the disastrous result of ‘Ramayya Vastavayya’ 9 years ago under the direction of Harish Shankar. NTR finished 9 films after that.
Dil Raju also made many films but never thought of a film with NTR again.
Coming to Ram Charan, the project with Dil Raju was set 9 years after ‘Evadu’. Same is the case with Allu Arjun also. Dil Raju didn’t make any film with him after ‘Duvvada Jagannatham’. Now the plans are going on with ‘Icon’.
Sources say that Dil Raju started attempts to make a film with NTR again in the direction of Anil Ravipudi. But right now NTR is busy with Buchibabu and Koratala.
So, if something happens positively in this regard, we may see a film in the combination of NTR- Dil Raju- Anil Ravipudi in 2023.

ఇక అన్ని పనులు పూర్తి చేసుకుని ఈనెల 8న ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు వస్తోంది. అయితే ఈసినిమా తెలంగాణలో పాత టిక్కెట్ ధరలతోనే రిలీజ్ అవుతుంది. మల్టీప్లెక్స్ లో 200 రూపాయలు..జీఎస్టీ పే చేయాలి. సింగిల్ స్ర్కీన్ థియేటర్లలో 150-జీఎస్టీ పే చేయాలి. దీంతో ఈ సినిమా విషయంలో ఎలాంటి మినహాయింపులు లేవని తెలుస్తోంది. తెలంగాణలో కేవలం పాత ధరలతోనే రిలీజ్ అవుతుంది. ఇక ఏపీలోప్రస్తుతం ఉన్న ధరలతోనే ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు రానుంది.

సినిమా వీరాభిమానులంతా 400 రూపాయలు వెచ్చించి `ఆర్ ఆర్ ఆర్` వీక్షించి ఆనందపడ్డారు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో కొంత వ్యతిరేకత వ్యక్తమైంది. ఓసెక్షన్ ఆడియన్స్ `ఆర్ ఆర్ ఆర్` పై మండిపడ్డారు. ఆ కారణంగానూ `గని` నిర్మాతలు రాష్ర్ట ప్రభుత్వాల ముందుకు టిక్కెట్ ధర పెంచుకుంటామని వెళ్లి ఉండకపోవచ్చని మరోవైపు టాక్ వినిపిస్తుంది. కారణాలు ఏవైనా `గని` తెలంగాణలో పాత ధరలతో ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు రావడం సంతోషకరమైన విషయంగా అభిమానులు భావిస్తున్నారు.
BJP MP threatens KTR with defamation suit for slandering Goyal
HYDERABAD: BJP MP Dharmapuri Arvind has said that he would approach Union Minister for Food and Public Distribution Piyush Goyal and see that a defamation suit is filed against State IT Minister KT Rama Rao. This is in relation to the ruling TRS’ statements that Goyal had asked TRS ministers during a meeting in New Delhi, to get the people of Telangana used to consuming broken rice.
Addressing the media in New Delhi on Sunday, Arvind alleged that the motive behind Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s conflict with the Centre was the State government’s reluctance to shell out Rs 600 crore to Rs 1,000 crore. This would have been the maximum additional burden on it for procuring parboiled rice.
Arvind said that farmers had grasped that the CM’s claim of buying every grain of paddy since 2014 was a sheer lie. It was the Centre which has been procuring paddy, which has gone up from 24 lakh tonne in 2014, to 141 lakh tonne last year, stated the BJP MP.
“Instead of taking care of administration, CM KCR is resorting to agitation against the Centre just to cover up his failures,” he said. The MP went ahead to term Rama Rao and the CM “silly fellows and notorious rogues” who had destroyed Telangana’s economy.
Playing a video of the Chief Minister from March 7, 2020, where the latter encouraged farmers to cultivate paddy in one crore acres on the floor of the Assembly, he questioned why the State government couldn’t prepare a policy accordingly.
Meanwhile, BJP State president B Sanjay Kumar expressed confidence that his Praja Sangrama Yatra scheduled to resume from April 14, would end the “dynastic, corrupt and autocratic rule of TRS”.
Ram Charan To Do A Double Role In His Next!
Mega Power Star Ram Charan is currently enjoying the success of his magnum opus ‘RRR’. Directed by SS Rajamouli, Ram Charan impressed everyone as Ramaraju and his fierce avatar swept everyone off their feet. His special getup during the climax is making the North audience go gaga over him and his fans down South are elated with the love their hero is getting across the country.
He gained pan-Indian fame with ‘RRR’ and he is hoping to build on it with his next film. As we know, it is another pan-Indian project under legendary director Shankar. Despite not being in form lately, Shankar is one of the best directors in the market and his grand films with a strong social message have created a trend in the 90s and early 2000s. His vision is second to none and he was once considered as James Cameroon of Indian cinema.
He is planning to make a strong comeback with Ram Charan’s flick and it is going to be a political thriller. The latest we hear is that Charan will be seen in a double role in this flick. Apparently, he will be seen as a student as well as an IAS officer in this movie and it is surely going to be a treat for the audience. The ‘Racha’ hero previously did dual roles in ‘Magadheera’ and ‘Nayak’. Let us wait and see how he impresses with Shankar’s flick in 2023.
As we know, this huge project is the 50th film under Dil Raju’s ‘Sri Venkateswara Creations’ banner. Bollywood beauty Kiara Advani is the female lead in this project while Thaman is going to be the music director instead of Shankar’s go-to composer AR Rahman. A lot of top-notch technicians are working on this project. Prominent actors like Sunil, Srikanth, Anjali and others are playing crucial roles in this political thriller.
Ram Charan played a special role in ‘Acharya’ which is all set to arrive on the 29th. We will be seeing the father-son duo of Chiru and Charan on the big screen in this social drama directed by Koratala Siva.
Both KGF 2 and Beast failed, but…
The makers of two of South India’s biggest outings, KGF 2 and Beast unveiled the trailers of these respective films last week. But interestingly enough, neither of these trailers could garner a unanimous response from the audience. While the trailer of Beast mostly struggles due to the lack of adrenaline pumping sequence, KGF 2’s trailer doesn’t pack a punch as the trademark elevation blocks are missing in it.
Going by the trailer, Beast is more of a comedy oriented celluloid than a full on action packed thriller. This trailer caters to Vijay’s fans and a section of Tamil audience. But it doesn’t have a wider appeal. That said, the director of Beast, Nelson has shown that he is more than capable of delivering a winning comedy oriented drama with Doctor and he will be looking to do something similar with Beast this time around.
If Beast garners a unanimously positive response from the audience after it releases in theatres on the 13th of April, the film will most certainly set the Tamil Nadu box office on fire, thanks to Vijay’s superstardom. The film will be getting a super wide release as well. If at all Beast garners a unanimous response, it will be an uphill task for KGF 2 which arrives in theatres on the 14th of this month, a day later than BEast.
Beast might do well in Tamil Nadu and as well as the twin Telugu states if it gets a positive response from the audience. This will eat into the box office prospects of KGF 2 which is releasing a day later than Beast. But that doesn’t mean, KGF 2 can be underestimated. The film is banking on the super success of the first part and it can set the ticket counters on fire as it releases on the 14th of April.
As things stand, the trailers of Beast and KGF 2 haven’t met the expectations of the audience. But that doesn’t matter if the films garner a unanimous word of mouth as they release in theatres in 10 days from now.
