KCR goes to Delhi again!! What’s cooking?

Telangana CM KCR has reached New Delhi for a three-day stay there. This is KCR’s third visit to Delhi in two months. On both earlier occasions, he did not meet anyone in Delhi and did not even try to seek an appointment with the Prime Minister. Though it was said that he would discuss the paddy procurement issue, he did not even seek an appointment with anyone.

This time around, the CMO has clarified that it was a personal visit and that he would consult a dentist. His wife Shobha and daughter and MLC Kavitha Kalwakuntla are accompanying him. However, it is learnt that the CMO has sought the appointment of Prime Minister. But, there is no response from the Prime Minister. If it is the paddy procurement issue, he may be asked to meet the minister for agriculture.

Meanwhile, there are reports that he might meet some key RSS leaders to reach out to Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Sources say that he had tried to reach out to Shah earlier too, but the RSS leaders, who gave him the appointment, have cancelled it at the last moment. Whether he would be able to meet the RSS leaders remains to be seen.

During the last meeting he had also met BJP MP Subramanyam Swamy. However, what transpired at the meeting is not known. The BJP in Telangana has said that KCR’s Delhi visits are mainly for personal reasons such as treatment of his wife’s illnesses and tooth related issues of the CM himself. It said that the pro-TRS media and the TRS media machinery were trying to launch a fake news campaign over a personal visit.

Allu Bobby Asks Not To Compare His Brother & Megastar!

Allu Bobby is making his debut as a producer with Varun Tej’s sports drama titled ‘Ghani’. As a part of promotions, he gave interviews to a couple of channels and answered some interesting questions. The most notable among them was about the comparison of his younger brother Allu Arjun with megastar Chiranjeevi.

A lot of people these days are praising Bunny as the current generation’s Megastar as he scored humongous hits like ‘Pushpa’ and ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’ recently. His journey from a product of Nepotism to an Icon Star who gained national level fame has made some of his fans call him ‘Megastar’.

Reacting to this, Allu Boby said, “I will never compare Chiranjeevi garu with Allu Arjun. Chiranjeevi garu is an inspiration to everyone in the family. Even Bunny said that same many times. We should never compare ourselves with people who are our idols or inspirations.”

Talking about his brother Bunny’s career, he stated, “Bunny matured a lot of after ‘Naa Peru Surya Naa Illu India’. He pinned a lot of hopes on that film but the film’s failure made him to take a gap of two years and rethink his approach when it comes to selecting scripts. It is the reason why ‘Ala Vaikunthapuramlo’ and ‘Pushpa’ became such big hits.”

Coming to Bobby’s maiden production venture Ghani, Varun Tej will be seen as a boxer in this film which is directed by debutant Kiran Korrapati. Saiee Manjrekar plays the female lead while Kannada star Upendra and Bollywood senior star Suniel Shetty will be seen playing crucial roles in this project. Fans are eagerly waiting for this film to hit the screens. It is the 10th film in Varun Tej’s career while Sidhu Mudda and Allu Bobby have bankrolled this project under Renaissance Pictures and Allu Bobby Company banners.

Happening music composer Thaman is working on the music while George C Williams is the director of photography. Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor for this sports drama while Nadhiya, Naveen Chandra and others play crucial roles. After this, Varun Tej will be arriving with ‘F3’ on 27th May and it is made by Anil Ravipudi.

Combination of NTR-Anil Ravipudi-Dil Raju

NTR didn’t work on the banner of Dil Raju after the disastrous result of ‘Ramayya Vastavayya’ 9 years ago under the direction of Harish Shankar. NTR finished 9 films after that.

Dil Raju also made many films but never thought of a film with NTR again.

Coming to Ram Charan, the project with Dil Raju was set 9 years after ‘Evadu’. Same is the case with Allu Arjun also. Dil Raju didn’t make any film with him after ‘Duvvada Jagannatham’. Now the plans are going on with ‘Icon’.

Sources say that Dil Raju started attempts to make a film with NTR again in the direction of Anil Ravipudi. But right now NTR is busy with Buchibabu and Koratala.

So, if something happens positively in this regard, we may see a film in the combination of NTR- Dil Raju- Anil Ravipudi in 2023.

ఇక అన్ని పనులు పూర్తి చేసుకుని ఈనెల 8న ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు వస్తోంది. అయితే ఈసినిమా తెలంగాణలో పాత టిక్కెట్ ధరలతోనే రిలీజ్ అవుతుంది. మల్టీప్లెక్స్ లో 200 రూపాయలు..జీఎస్టీ పే చేయాలి. సింగిల్ స్ర్కీన్ థియేటర్లలో 150-జీఎస్టీ పే చేయాలి. దీంతో ఈ సినిమా విషయంలో ఎలాంటి మినహాయింపులు లేవని తెలుస్తోంది. తెలంగాణలో కేవలం పాత ధరలతోనే రిలీజ్ అవుతుంది. ఇక ఏపీలోప్రస్తుతం ఉన్న ధరలతోనే ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు రానుంది.

స్టార్ హీరోల సినిమాలకు..భారీ బడ్జెట్ సినిమాలకు టిక్కెట్ ధరలు పెంచుకునే వెసులుబాటు రెండు రాష్ర్టాల ప్రభుత్వాలు కల్పించాయి. దానికి కొన్ని పరిమితిలు కూడా ఉన్నాయి. మరి ఆ కోటాలోకి వరుణ్ తేజ్ ఇంకా చేరినట్లు లేదు. అందుకే పాత ధరలతోనే గని రిలీజ్ అవుతుంది. ఇటీవలే `ఆర్ ఆర్ ఆర్` టిక్కెట్ ధరతో ప్రేక్షకుడి నడ్డి విరిగిపోయింది.

సినిమా వీరాభిమానులంతా 400 రూపాయలు వెచ్చించి `ఆర్ ఆర్ ఆర్` వీక్షించి ఆనందపడ్డారు. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో కొంత వ్యతిరేకత వ్యక్తమైంది. ఓసెక్షన్ ఆడియన్స్ `ఆర్ ఆర్ ఆర్` పై మండిపడ్డారు. ఆ కారణంగానూ `గని` నిర్మాతలు రాష్ర్ట ప్రభుత్వాల ముందుకు టిక్కెట్ ధర పెంచుకుంటామని వెళ్లి ఉండకపోవచ్చని మరోవైపు టాక్ వినిపిస్తుంది. కారణాలు ఏవైనా `గని` తెలంగాణలో పాత ధరలతో ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు రావడం సంతోషకరమైన విషయంగా అభిమానులు భావిస్తున్నారు.

BJP MP threatens KTR with defamation suit for slandering Goyal

HYDERABAD: BJP MP Dharmapuri Arvind has said that he would approach Union Minister for Food and Public Distribution Piyush Goyal and see that a defamation suit is filed against State IT Minister KT Rama Rao. This is in relation to the ruling TRS’ statements that Goyal had asked TRS ministers during a meeting in New Delhi, to get the people of Telangana used to consuming broken rice.

Addressing the media in New Delhi on Sunday, Arvind alleged that the motive behind Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s conflict with the Centre was the State government’s reluctance to shell out Rs 600 crore to Rs 1,000 crore. This would have been the maximum additional burden on it for procuring parboiled rice.

Arvind said that farmers had grasped that the CM’s claim of buying every grain of paddy since 2014 was a sheer lie. It was the Centre which has been procuring paddy, which has gone up from 24 lakh tonne in 2014, to 141 lakh tonne last year, stated the BJP MP.

“Instead of taking care of administration, CM KCR is resorting to agitation against the Centre just to cover up his failures,” he said. The MP went ahead to term Rama Rao and the CM “silly fellows and notorious rogues” who had destroyed Telangana’s economy.

Playing a video of the Chief Minister from March 7, 2020, where the latter encouraged farmers to cultivate paddy in one crore acres on the floor of the Assembly, he questioned why the State government couldn’t prepare a policy accordingly.

Meanwhile, BJP State president B Sanjay Kumar expressed confidence that his Praja Sangrama Yatra scheduled to resume from April 14, would end the “dynastic, corrupt and autocratic rule of TRS”.

Ram Charan To Do A Double Role In His Next!

As we know, this huge project is the 50th film under Dil Raju’s ‘Sri Venkateswara Creations’ banner. Bollywood beauty Kiara Advani is the female lead in this project while Thaman is going to be the music director instead of Shankar’s go-to composer AR Rahman. A lot of top-notch technicians are working on this project. Prominent actors like Sunil, Srikanth, Anjali and others are playing crucial roles in this political thriller.

Ram Charan played a special role in ‘Acharya’ which is all set to arrive on the 29th. We will be seeing the father-son duo of Chiru and Charan on the big screen in this social drama directed by Koratala Siva.

Both KGF 2 and Beast failed, but…

The makers of two of South India’s biggest outings, KGF 2 and Beast unveiled the trailers of these respective films last week. But interestingly enough, neither of these trailers could garner a unanimous response from the audience. While the trailer of Beast mostly struggles due to the lack of adrenaline pumping sequence, KGF 2’s trailer doesn’t pack a punch as the trademark elevation blocks are missing in it.

Going by the trailer, Beast is more of a comedy oriented celluloid than a full on action packed thriller. This trailer caters to Vijay’s fans and a section of Tamil audience. But it doesn’t have a wider appeal. That said, the director of Beast, Nelson has shown that he is more than capable of delivering a winning comedy oriented drama with Doctor and he will be looking to do something similar with Beast this time around.

If Beast garners a unanimously positive response from the audience after it releases in theatres on the 13th of April, the film will most certainly set the Tamil Nadu box office on fire, thanks to Vijay’s superstardom. The film will be getting a super wide release as well. If at all Beast garners a unanimous response, it will be an uphill task for KGF 2 which arrives in theatres on the 14th of this month, a day later than BEast.

Beast might do well in Tamil Nadu and as well as the twin Telugu states if it gets a positive response from the audience. This will eat into the box office prospects of KGF 2 which is releasing a day later than Beast. But that doesn’t mean, KGF 2 can be underestimated. The film is banking on the super success of the first part and it can set the ticket counters on fire as it releases on the 14th of April.

As things stand, the trailers of Beast and KGF 2 haven’t met the expectations of the audience. But that doesn’t matter if the films garner a unanimous word of mouth as they release in theatres in 10 days from now.

ఇండియాస్ మోస్ట్ అవైటెడ్ చిత్రంగా ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకొచ్చిన ‘ఆర్ ఆర్ ఆర్’ భారీ వసూళ్లు సాధించిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. ఎనిమిది రోజుల్లోనే సినిమా ‘బాహుబలి ది బిగినింగ్’ రికార్డులను 750 కోట్ల వసూళ్లతో బ్రేక్ చేసింది. నైజాం రికార్డులైతే తొలిరోజే పటా పంచల్ చేసింది. ఒక్క నార్త్ మినహా అన్ని ఏరియాల్లో ‘ఆర్ ఆర్ ఆర్’ భారీ వసూళ్లనే సాధించింది.

ఇక తెలుగు రాష్ర్టాల్లో అయితే పది రోజులపాటు టిక్కెట్ ధరలు పెంచుకునే వెసులు బాటుతో పాటు..ఐదవ షోకి అనుమతి ఉండటంతో ‘ఆర్ ఆర్ ఆర్’ దూకుడు కొనసాగించింది. గ్రాస్ వసూళ్లలో తెలుగు రాష్ర్టాల వసూళ్లు కీలక పాత్ర పోషించాయని చెప్పొచ్చు. పది రోజుల పాటు బాక్సాఫీస్ వద్ద ‘ఆర్ ఆర్ ఆర్’ దందా కొనసాగింది.

సాధారణ ధరకన్నా టిక్కెట్ కి అదనంగా వసూల్ చేయడంతోనే భారీ వసూళ్లు సాధించింది. ఈ క్రమంలో సినిమా కేవలం ఓ వర్గం ఆడియన్స్ కే పరిమితమైంది. తెలంగాణ మల్టీప్లెక్సుల్లో 400 నుంచి 450 రూపాయల వరకు వసూల్ చేసారు. ఏపీలోనూ దాదాపు ఇదే పరిస్థితి. భారీ బడ్జెట్ సినిమా కావడంతోనే ప్రత్యేక మినహాయింపు దక్కింది. దీంతో మొదటి మూడు రోజుల పాటు ‘ఆర్ ఆర్ ఆర్’ కి భారీ వసూళ్లు వచ్చాయి.

ఆ తర్వాత కాస్త వేగం తగ్గింది. మళ్లీ ఉగాది..ఆ మరుసటి రోజు పండుగ దినాలు కావడంతో వేగం పుంచుకుంది. అయితే పెరిగిన ధరలతో మధ్య తరగతి కుటుంబాలకు ‘ఆర్ ఆర్ ఆర్’ ఇంత కాలం దూరమైందననే చెప్పాలి. అయితే నిన్నటితో పది రోజుల గడువు ముగిసింది. నేటి నుంచి మళ్లీ పాత ధరలకే టిక్కెట్లు విక్రయించాల్సి ఉంది. తెలంగాణాలో సింగిల్ స్ర్కీన్ కి 175 రూపాయలు.. మల్టీప్లెక్సుల్లో 290 రూపాయాలు గరిష్టంగా ఉంది.

ఏపీలో సింగిల్ స్ర్కీన్ కి 145 రూపాయలు కాగా.. మల్టీప్లెక్స్ ల్లో 177 రూపాయలు గరిష్టంగా ఉంది. నేటి నుంచి రెండు రాష్ర్టాల్లో ఈ ధరలు అందుబాటులోకి రానున్నాయి. రీక్లెయినర్ సీట్లు వీటికి మినహాయింపు ఉంటుంది. అంటే ఈరోజు నుంచి ‘ఆర్ ఆర్ ఆర్’ టార్గెట్ మరో వర్గం అని చెప్పొచ్చు. వాస్తవానికి ‘ఆర్ ఆర్ ఆర్’ టిక్కెట్ ధర తెలుసుకుని వెనకడుగు వేసిన ఫ్యామిలీ ఆడియన్స్ చాలా మందే ఉన్నారు. ధర తగ్గిన తర్వాత చూద్దామని ..రోజులు గడిచే కొద్ది లైట్ అనే సీన్ లోకి మరికొంత మంది వచ్చేసారు.

మరి సినిమా రిలీజ్ అయి 10 రోజులు గడిచిపోయింది కాబట్టి ఇప్పుడంత ఎగ్జైట్ మెంట్ ఉంటుందా? అన్నది సందేహమే. నిజానికి ‘ఆర్ ఆర్ ఆర్’ డే 11 నుంచి నిరూపించాలి. తగ్గిన టిక్కెట్ ధరలతో థియేటర్ ఆక్యుపెన్సీ ఉంటేనే దాన్ని బ్లాక్ బస్టర్ గా చెప్పాల్సి ఉంటుంది. ‘అఖండ’ సినిమాకి ఆడియన్స్ ట్రాక్టర్లపై ..ఎండ్ల బళ్లపై తరలి వచ్చిన సన్నివేశం ఇప్పుడు ‘ఆర్ ఆర్ ఆర్’ కూడా ప్రూవ్ చేయాలి.

Jagan readying up rival for Anam Ramanarayana Reddy in Venkatagiri?

Is YS Jagan preparing a Plan B to counter dissenting MLA and former Congress heavyweight Anam Ramnarayana Reddy in Nellore? Those in the know say yes. With Anam Ramnarayana Reddy repeatedly speaking against the party line and often expressing his dissatisfaction with YS Jagan’s governance, YS Jagan is said to be looking at alternatives to Anam.

Anam currently is the MLA from Venkatagiri. Though he wanted to contest from Nellore rural or urban seats, Jagan asked him to contest from Venkatagiri. Then, he was not accommodated in the ministry. Since then, Anam has been singing a different tune. There are also rumours that he could leave the YSRCP ahead of the 2024 election. Hence, Jagan has readied up a Plan B.

If sources are to be believed, he is encouraging former CM Nedurumalli Janardhan Reddy’s son Ramkumar Reddy to establish himself in Venkatagiri. He has already set up a camp office in Nellore town and has been meeting the people from Venkatagiri. He is also said to be highlighting the progress that Venkatagiri achieved during the tenure of Nedurumalli Janardhan Reddy. He is also trying to bring together all those elements inimical to Anam in Venkatagiri.

This is a clear signal that Ramkumar Reddy would be given the party ticket to contest from Venkatagiri if Anam tries to play truant. Sources say that Jagan has not taken kindly to Anam Ramanarayana Reddy’s protest fast against the reorganisation of the districts. Though Jagan agreed partly to his proposals, he has not reconciled to this rebellion. He is said to be preparing ground to unseat him from Venkatagiri. Nedurumalli Ramkumar is being projected with this end in view, say sources.

It is known that Ram Charan has been actively supporting a security agent named Rusty fight the Ukraine war. He spoke at length about the same in his latest interview with a Hollywood media portal.

“I knew Rusty from RRR’s Ukraine schedule. He was my security guy back then. I am still in touch with him. I try to help him financially so that he can fight the war for his country. He contacts me almost every day once he is done with his shift, fighting the Russian invasion. The videos that he sends me are devastating. It really pains me to watch such inhumane acts,” Charan said.

It is evident that Charan is considerate about his security guy in RRR’s Ukrain schedule and he is doing all he can to support the latter. Charan’s philanthropic act is leaving netizens amazed.

Varun Tej’s Ghani is up for theatrical release on the 8th of this month and the makers have started promoting the film. The grand pre release event was held in Vizag the other day.

The latest we hear is that Varun Tej is the one who instigated Ghani. Apparently, Varun Tej was the one who asked the debut director Kiran Korrapati to come up with a boxing drama script and the latter did the same.

Varun always wanted to do a proper boxing drama and that is the reason why he asked Kiran to come up with such script. This is how Ghani happened.

Notably, Ghani is produced by Varun’s cousin, Allu Bobby and Siddhu Mudda. The film has Saiee Manjrekar in the female lead role. Upendra and Suniel Shetty play other important roles.
