The first schedule of Mahesh Babu and Trivikram’s SSMB28 came to an abrupt halt for undisclosed reasons. The makers are now focused on the second schedule.

A few say the second schedule will commence by the end of this month and others say it will start early next month.

Either way, Mahesh has started to sweat it out in the gym and a related snap is now going viral on social media.

Mahesh is raring to get on with the second schedule of SSMB28 which has been in the waiting for a long time now.

Was stone-pelting on Chandrababu stage-managed?

Was the claim made by TDP Chandrababu Naidu that there was an attack on him and that his security person suffered an injury due to stone-pelting, fake? Was the whole attack stage-managed? These are the questions that those who were present at the time of the “alleged” attack and those investigating into it.

The other day during his tour of Nandigama, Chandrababu claimed that there was an attack on him. He said a stone was pelted and that a security officer of the DSP rank suffered injuries. However, there are several unanswered questions.

For instance, instead of lodging a police complaint, the DSP ranked officer “lodged” a complaint with Chandrababu. It was only after several persons pointed out that a complaint was lodged the next day.

Also, the stone which hit the security officer was not shown to anyone, not even to the police. Normally, when a stone hits someone, there would be a lesion and a swelling. But, both were not seen on the face of the security officer. Sources ask as to why there was no swelling on the person of the officer who was hit.

Many point out that there is no videographic evidence whatsoever of the stone pelting. Many people argue that the whole episode was stage-managed and the TDP’s media machinery is trying to make an issue out of nothing. As of now, a probe is on and the truth hopefully will come out soon.

Is Vundavalli Arun Kumar joining Jana Sena?

Is veteran politician, two-time MP and die-hard Congressman Vundavalli Arun Kumar planning to join the Jana Sena? Is this the reason behind his frequent press meets, where he is seen and heard praising Pawan Kalyan? Though he is claiming to be away from active politics since the bifurcation of the state, Vundavalli has suddenly become active these days.

The buzz in twin Godavari districts is that Vundavalli is all set to join the Jana Sena. In fact, Pawan Kalyan always has a special relation with Vundavalli. He not only praised Vundavalliâ€™s intellectual abilities and comprehension of politics, he even made Vundavalli a member of his joint fact-finding committees on various issues plaguing the state.

Vundavalli, a diehard YS Rajasekhara Reddy supporter, kept away from the Congress party and active politics in protest against the way in which Andhra Pradesh was divided. Since then, he has been keeping a low profile. However, of late, he has been addressing a series of press conferences praising Pawan Kalyan.

This gave rise to the buzz that Vundavalli is all set to join the Jana Sena ahead of the 2024 elections. Vundavalli is a charismatic leader with a strong fan base in the twin Godavari districts. His entry, when it happens, will surely improve the prospects of the Jana Sena. He also shares a special relationship with Pawan Kalyan, who holds Vundavalli in high esteem.

However, neither Jana Sena chief nor Vundavalli have clarified about whether the latter would join the Jana Sena. As of now, the rumour mill is working overtime speculating whether Vundavalli will join the Jana Sena and whether he would contest the electoral battle.

People usually say ‘Operation success and patient dead’. A few of the recent movies prove this line perfectly. Allu Sirish’s ‘Oorvasivo Rakshasivo’ gained a decent response from the critics and the youth gave positive feedback too. Overjoyed by this, the ‘Geetha Arts’ team organized success celebrations and brought Allu Arjun as the chief guest. After all this, the movie is not getting enough collections at the box office. The movie did okay in the first three days but things went downhill after that.

After ‘Pushpa’, Allu Arjun and Allu Aravind are trying to promote the Allu brand. They are constantly using the ‘Thaggede Le’ dialogue multiple times on a lot of occasions. They promoted ‘Pushpa 2’ even during Sirish’s movie event too and gave too many elevations for Bunny. The whole purpose of this event was to promote Sirish’s movie but that did not happen. The movie is slowing down with each passing day.

It looks like the ‘Allu’ team is more fixated on Allu Arjun and it is in no way helping Allu Sirish. Though the young hero may not have the commercial hero appeal, he could establish himself as a hero with different scripts. But the lack of proper promotions for his films is pulling Sirish back.

This happened a lot previously too. Nagababu tried to become a hero during Chiranjeevi’s peak but it did not happen. He had to settle for character roles and turned into a producer too. On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan managed to become a big success. When Rajasekhar was a big hero, he tried to bring his brother Selva with ‘Gang Master’ but the movie did not impress the audience. During Srikanth’s prime, his brother Anil Meka tried his luck but failed. Now, Vaisshnav Tej needs to make sure that he doesn’t end up as a one film wonder. Since his last two outings were big failures. Even Anand Deverakonda is yet to score a big hit. It looks like passing the baton from father to son is easier than a elder brother to younger brother.

Urike Urike from Adivi Sesh’ HIT 2: A song of the heart

The talented hero Adivi Sesh is coming with the sequel of crime investigation thriller ‘HIT’. Titled HIT: The 2nd Case, the Sailesh Kolanu is all set to hit the screens on December 2, 2022. Makers recently released the teaser and the team is on cloud nine after the teaser of HIT 2 received exceptional response from the audience.

Now continuing the momentum, makers released full video song “Urike Urike” in the presence of college students. The makers visited colleges near Hyderabad to launch the song and promote the film.

The video song shows the tenderness between KD, played by Adivi Sesh, and Aarya, played by Meenakshi Chaudary. It has beautiful visuals and a perfect tune by M.M. Sree Lekha. Krishna Kanth is the lyricist, and the south Indian sensation Sid Sriram is the singer.

The song makes an enchanting effect on listeners. It is delight to both eyes and ears with the enchanting tune and magical chemistry of main lead.

‘HIT 2’ features Sesh in the role of cool cop KD in the Homicide Intervention Team. The movie has Meenakshii Chaudhary in the female lead role while Rao Ramesh, Srikanth Maganti, Komalee Prasad will be seen in key roles. Prashanti Tipirneni is bankrolling the film while Natural Star Nani is the presenter under Wall Poster Cinema.

Balayya Giving Chance To Young Directors!

Till a few years back, Nandamuri Balakrishna used to rely heavily on established directors. His ‘Ruler’ and ‘Jai Simha’ were made by KS Ravi Kumar while ‘Paisa Vasool’ is Puri Jagannadh. Films like ‘Simha’, ‘Legend’ and ‘Akhanda’ were from Boyapati Sreenu while Krish directed ‘NTR’ biopic. Barring Boyapati, no other director utilized Balayya’s mass craze.

It looks like the star hero has decided to give chances to young filmmakers. As we know, he is working with Gopichand Malineni at the moment. The successful director made movies like ‘Don Seenu’, ‘Balupu’ and ‘Krack’. Ravi Teja is the only big hero he ever worked with but Balayya gave him an opportunity. They are making ‘Veera Simha Reddy’ together which will be released during Sankranti.

After that, he is going to join hands with Anil Ravipudi who is known for his entertainers. This movie raised the curiosity levels of many since they are not able to understand how a mass hero and director known for his comedy work together. They will start the shooting from 2023. There are talks that Balayya may work with ‘Bimbisara’ director Mallidi Vasishta but nothing has been made official.

The recent reports suggest that Venkatesh Maha who is known for his unique and touching movies like ‘Umamaheswara Ugraroopasya’ and ‘C/o Kancherapalem’ is going to make a movie with Balakrishna. During the pre-release event of Allu Sirish’s film, Venkatesh Maha stated that he wants to work with Balayya. No one can imagine a mass hero like Balayya and artistic director like Venkatesh Maha teaming up but the news is spreading fast across the industry. Reports suggest that Varahi Chalana Chitram will be bankrolling it and Balayya is willing to experiment with Venkatesh Maha. If this happens, it will definitely create a sensation in Tollywood.

Soon after SS Rajamouli worked his magic on the big screen with ‘RRR’, people from Bollywood and Kollywood claimed that they are going to give a strong response with ‘Brahmastra’ and ‘PS – 1’ respectively. But both these films failed to mint more than 500 crores and ended up in losses in many places. On the other hand, Rajamouli’s magnum opus is amazing the audience across the globe and is in the debate of getting nominated for the Oscars. It is getting huge reception from various places like America, Japan, UK, Australia and other places. The film’s popularity grew multifold after getting released on Netflix and there are a lot of foreigners who became fans of Rajamouli’s work.

After the release of ‘PS – 1’, the movie got an average response from people across the nation barring the Tamil audience who are too emotionally attached. They were not ready to accept the reality and even Tamil journalists spewed venom on people who criticized the movie. The movie did not do well in the Hindi market and it was recently released on Amazon Prime Video. The response has been lukewarm and people did not sing laurels about it. Recently, it started streaming on Disney + Hotstar and no one is praising this film and there are many trolls coming its way too. While these two massive projects got an average response on OTT platforms, ‘RRR’ became a sensation and even got praise from Hollywood writers and directors. Many are suggesting that it is better for everyone if people stop comparing ‘Brahmastra’ and ‘PS – 1’ with ‘RRR’.

Producer from I Am Buddha Productions, Pallavi Joshi shares: “This film celebrates the triumph of our excellent bioscientists. The vaccine war is our tribute to their sacrifice, dedication and hard work.” The caption of this film is ‘A war you didn’t know you fought and won’.

Abhishek Agarwal who earlier associated with Vivek Agnihotri for The Kashmir Files will be releasing ‘The Vaccine War’ throughout the country through his Abhishek Agarwal Arts banner. The makers have not announced the cast yet. It will be interesting to see who fits the bill to fight the war on vaccine and bring the efforts made by our scientists on the big screen. The film will be produced by Pallavi Joshi of I Am Buddha.
