Prabhas in a fix
Although no official announcement has been made about the postponement of the release of Prabhas-starrer Adipurush, it seems a foregone conclusion that the makers will not hold to the Sankranti 2023 release plan.
The filmmakers are currently working on a suitable date in summer and may announce an alternative date soon.
But there’s a catch — If Adipurush release is being pushed to Summer 2023, then Salaar, scheduled to release in September 2023, should also be postponed to early 2024. And therefore, another film, Project K, currently slated for an April 2024 release, will also have to be moved to the latter part of the year. Prabhas is working on a workable line-up for his films.
A source close to the actor tells us: “Prabhas is trying to avoid releasing two films in one year as much as possible. He had a certain plan in mind about the line-up of films, but unfortunately those plans seem to have come to a standstill due to the postponement of Adipurush.”
Prabhas wants to avoid allocating bulk dates to one film and intends to do two films a year from 2023. However, for now, that looks like a distant dream as he needs to wait for some more time until he gets clarity over the release dates of his films.
Allari Naresh’s IMP gets a new release date
It is known that talented hero Allari Naresh is coming up with a social drama film ‘Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam’, which is directed by AR Mohan.
It was earlier announced that IMP will release in cinemas on November 11th. However, the makers today revealed that the release has been pushed 25th of the same month.
Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam, which garnered good buzz from the moviegoers, is bankrolled by Razesh Danda under the production house of Zee Studios and Hasya Movies banners. Major fame composer Sricharan Pakala has provided the music for the drama, and Raam Reddy is the cinematographer.
While Anandhi plays the female lead, Vennela Kishore, Praveen, and Sampath Raj will be seen in supporting roles.
Pawan Kalyan visits victims of demolition in Ippatam
It is known that 53 houses belonging to TDP and Janasena sympathizers and activists were demolished at Ippatam village in Mangalagiri constituency on Friday. As per the opposition, the demolition was intended to threaten the villagers for supporting JSP.
To stand in support of the victims of the demolition drive, Janasena Party president Pawan Kalyan visited Ippatam village Saturday morning and went around the houses that were demolished.
In view of PSPK’s visit, there was heavy deployment of police personnel in the village. The cops stopped the vehicle in which Pawan Kalyan was travelling. He got out of the car and walked a short distance.
Speaking to the media there, Pawan launched a harsh attack on the YSRC government. “It is a small village. It is not Rajahmundry or Kakinada to widen the roads. Why is the road not being widened in Pedakakani, where YSRCP MLA RK’s house is located? Who are you to stop us from at least talking to the victims? They are creating trouble by conspiring that the villagers have given us space for our meeting. This is what we are telling the YSRCP leaders. We will build a highway in Idupulapaya.”
“Can’t fill potholes. Can’t build roads. Need expansion? Does this government have any sense? Are we goons?” questioned the Janasenani.
The natives of Ippatam alleged that their residences were demolished because they had given their lands for the public meeting organized by Janasena on the occasion of its formation day on March 14 this year.
No Censor For Cuss Words In ‘Urvasivo Rakshasivo’!
The censor board is usually very strict when it comes to the usage of foul language and inclusion of bold scenes in the movie. There are not many restrictions in the OTT platform which is why a lot of digital content is filled with plotlines and scenes that are not tried in theatrical releases. But it looks like the censor board has bent the rules for Allu Sirish’s recent release ‘Urvasivo Rakshasivo’.
This movie is running successfully with good talk and the irresistible sensuous scenes and double meaning comedy are its biggest strengths. The youth are interested in watching this movie especially for Anu Emmanuel and it is well known that it is a Telugu version of Tamil film ‘Pyar Prema Kadhal’ which came out in 2018. The censor board suggested a few cuts but the makers seems to have included that cuts in Indian release while some cuss words were left untouched in the version that was sent to the overseas market.
There is a scene where Anu shows the middle finger and says the ‘F’ word which is not accepted in India but the US version had no cuts in it. Also, she refers to Vennela Kishore’s character as ‘L**** Kod***’ in one scene. This word was also not muted. People who watched the film are shocked as they did not expect such words coming out of the heroine’s mouth and that no one raised an issue about it. Since it is a youth-oriented film, the viewers may not find any reason to feel uncomfortable but the family audience may ignore this movie completely.

Vishwak Sen walked out of Arjun Sarja’s directorial?
It is known that young hero Vishwak Sen has teamed up with actor-filmmaker Arjun Sarja for his upcoming film, which will be directed by the Action King himself.
The movie was launched a few months ago with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan attending the pooja ceremony. Arjun’s daughter Aishwarya Sarja is playing the heroine opposite Vishwak, and this marks her Telugu debut as well.
The latest buzz is that all is not well between Vishwak Sen and the director. It is heard that the Paagal actor walked out of this project as he is not happy with the makers. As per reports, the makers are now planning to go to approach Film Chamber to file a complaint against Vishwak Sen. An official clarification regarding the same is awaited.

Is ‘Urvasivo Rakshasivo’ Going To Start A New Trend?
Out of all the movies which came out on 4th November, it is Allu Sirish’s ‘Urvasivo Rakshasivo’ that managed to get a positive talk from the critics. The youth are also pleased with this film and the makers are very happy about it. Though it might not be a blockbuster, the positive buzz is definitely going to help the box-office prospects. The rest depends on the creative marketing strategies of ‘Geetha Arts’ team to push this film. The opening are not that great but the young audience are gradually showing up in theatres after getting know about the content it is offering.
Keeping it aside, the romantic episodes in this movie are definitely raising the mercury levels. The lip kisses, intimate sequences and steamy scenes are in abundance and it may start a new trend in Tollywood. Directed Rakesh Sashii made that it does not cross the line and turn into something vulgar but it is safe to say that such hot content is not seen in a mainstream cinema in recent times. If this movie had been done by a Tier 2 hero, it would have been the talk of tinsel town.
A lot of movies came up with such bold content previously. Teja’s ‘Chitram’ was way ahead of its times when it comes to steamy romantic episodes. We all know the success achieved by Selvaraghavan through ‘7/G Brindavan Colony’ which also had some intimate scenes. Though ‘Urvasivo Rakshasivo’ is in no way close to those films in terms of writing and direction, there are a lot of scenes that excite the youth. We need to wait and see if it becomes a trend for upcoming romantic films or not.
