The saffron party Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP), which is at the ruling at Centre, has been following a similar game plan of inviting noted celebrities across the fields. Film actors and sportspersons have already joined the saffron party, while a few of them have already contested the polls.
Going by the same, another film industry member joined the party and the member was heartfully invited by the BJP leaders. The new joining happened ahead of the general elections.
Noted actress Mahie Gill and Punjabi actor Hobby Dhaliwal became BJP members in the Punjab wing of the party. The duo had joined the party in the presence of Union minister Gajendra Shekhawat and Haryana chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar in Chandigarh.
Mahie Gill is a noted face for movie buffs. She had acted in a few films and even forayed into OTT. She shot to good fame with a crime thriller based on the real incident ‘Not a Love Story’. Directed by maverick filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, the crime thriller is loosely based on the murder of Neeraj Grover.
As an interesting point to be noted, the actress had earlier campaigned for a Congress leader. Cut to a few months, she had joined the opponent party BJP. She had earlier made many heads turn by talking about casting couch.
Raveena Tandon wraps up dubbing for KGF-2
Yash starrer KGF: Chapter 2 is undoubtedly one of the most awaited big budget films of the year. The period action drama, which is a sequel to blockbuster KGF: Chapter 1, is gearing up to hit theatres on April 14, 2022.
Now, the latest update is that Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon wrapped up her dubbing part for the pan-India film today.
Director Prashanth Neel took to his Twitter to make an announcement regarding the dubbing session with the actress. In the picture shared by the filmmaker, we can see both the actor-director duo shed smiles for the camera in the dubbing studio.
“Gavel of brutality! Dubbing completed with the coolest prime minister #RamikaSen.Thank you mam @TandonRaveena,” wrote Prashanth Neel along with the picture.
KGF: Chapter 2 will also have Srinidhi Shetty and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles. Raveena Tandon will be seen as Ramika Sen, the Prime Minister of India in the film.
Bankrolled by Hombale Pictures on a large scale, the film will have its release in Kannada along with the dubbed versions of Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam languages on 14 April 2022.

Akkineni’s young hero Akhil arrived in Tollywood with a lot of hype surrounding him. His debut film ‘Akhil’ was a disaster and it affected his career badly. Modi blames Congress for not dividing states peacefully!
The ruling outfit in Telangana, Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) has been locking horns with the saffron party Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) alleging that the Centre is not giving importance to the state for the projects and funds. The TRS leaders are not leaving any stone unturned to target the Union government on the same.
Amid the attack by the TRS, Prime Minister Narendra Modi while addressing the Parliament said that, they are not against Telangana, but they are not happy with the way the states were bifurcated.
Accusing the then central government Congress of bifurcating Telangana in an undemocratic manner, Narendra Modi said that the Congress party should be held responsible for the disputes between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Not stopping there, Narendra Modi also accused the grand-old Congress of being arrogant while bifurcating Andhra Pradesh which gave power to the party, the Prime Minister of India came down severely on the Congress party.
Launching an attack on the Congress party, Narendra Modi said, the way the bifurcation was done made the congress party lose in both states. Highlighting how the state was divided, Narendra Modi said that the bifurcation was done without any discussion as the micks of the members were cut in the Parliament.
He made these comments to say how the Congress party had divided the states in a wrong way that had led to the disputes between the states. He went on to say that, if the states were divided in the right manner, then there would have not been any issues.
Congress had divided Telangana from Andhra Pradesh. People from both states have not voted for the party. The same happened with Jharkhand. But the BJP had not made the mistakes, he maintained.
Giving details on how three states were formed during the regime of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Narendra Modi said this is how the states should be formed peacefully without causing any disputes between the states.
Atal Bihari Vajpayee was credited for forming three new states that too in a peaceful atmosphere. When he was the Prime Minister, three states were formed in a single year. In 2000, Chhattisgarh, Uttarakhand, and Jharkhand were formed.

Megastar Chiranjeevi was once the brand ambassador for several elite companies and brands. But gradually, he started to cut down on the endorsement deals as he turned busy in politics and could not allot enough time for brand promotions. While he was in the peak of his career, Chiru was the promotional face of beverage giant, Thums Up. He served as their brand ambassador for several years before finally stepping down. Post which superstars like Mahesh Babu and Vijay Deverakonda came on board for Thums Up.
Now, 13 years after ending his final brand ambassador deal, Chiranjeevi has finally signed another endorsement deal and it sure is a big one. Three Heroines To Romance Prabhas In ‘Raja Deluxe’?
Pan Indian hero Prabhas is surprising everyone with his list of upcoming films. He is working with Prasanth Neel on ‘Salaar’ while his ‘Radhe Shyam’ is ready for release. ‘Adipurush’ is in the post-production stage while Nag Ashwin’s ‘Project K’ is in the making. Interestingly, all these movies are being made on a massive budget of over 150 crores. Some of them are even costing over 300 crores. He announced a project with Sandeep Reddy Vanga named ‘Spirit’ and there is a huge talk that he may work with entertaining director Maruthi on a movie called ‘Raja Deluxe’.
While all the other films are made on a grand scale with concepts like mythology, action, science fiction and others, Maruthi’s film is expected to be a horror-comedy. This genre is usually picked by small or medium heroes. We do not see star heroes opting for horror comedies quite often but it is strange to hear that a pan-Indian hero like Prabhas gave a green signal to such a project.
Apparently, a huge set is being built in Hyderabad and major portions will be picturized in it. Also, this movie will be having three heroines and fans are having mixed feelings about it. While some are excited about the fact that Prabhas will be acting in a completely different film, there are some of them who worry that it may have a ‘Kanchana’ type of flavor. Some netizens are trolling that three heroines and horror-comedy genre shouts ‘Kanchana’ franchise and they are sincerely hoping that Maruthi delivers quality content rather than over-the-top histrionics and artificial characters.
