అందగాడైన అబ్బాస్ అన్ని కష్టాలు పడ్డాడా?!
తమిళ ఇండస్ట్రీని చాలామంది హీరోలు ఏలేశారు. తిరుగులేని క్రేజ్ తో ఎదురులేని స్టార్ డమ్ ను చాలామంది చూశారు. అయితే హ్యాండ్సమ్ లుక్ తో మనసులు కొల్లగొట్టేసిన హీరోల పేర్లు చెప్పమని అడిగితే ముగ్గురి పేర్లను మాత్రం చాలామంది చెబుతారు. ఆ ముగ్గురే అబ్బాస్ .. అజిత్ .. అరవింద్ స్వామి. ఈ ముగ్గురి పేర్లు కూడా ‘A’ అనే అక్షరంతో మొదలుకావడం విశేషం. ప్రస్తుతం అజిత్ .. అరవింద్ స్వామి ఇద్దరూ కూడా వెండితెరపై తమ జోరును కొనసాగిస్తూనే ఉన్నారు. కానీ అబ్బాస్ మాత్రం సినిమాలకి చాలా దూరమైపోయాడు.
1996లో ‘కాదల్ దేశం’ అనే సినిమాతో తమిళ తెరకి అబ్బాస్ పరిచయమయ్యాడు. ‘ప్రేమదేశం’ పేరుతో ఈ సినిమా తెలుగులోను విడుదలైంది. ఈ సినిమాలో అబ్బాస్ ను చూసిన ప్రేక్షకులు ‘అందగాడు’ అంటూ ఆయనకి సర్టిఫికెట్ ఇచ్చేశారు. అబ్బాస్ హైట్ .. ఆయన ఫిజిక్ చూసి ఇకపై ఆయన జోరు కొనసాగడం ఖాయమని అంతా అనుకున్నారు. అబ్బాయిలు ఆయన హెయిర్ స్టైల్ ను ఫాలో అయితే అమ్మాయిలు పొలోమంటూ మనసులు పారేసుకున్నారు. ఆ తరువాత ఆయన తెలుగులో చేసిన ‘ప్రియా ఓ ప్రియా’ సినిమా కూడా హిట్ కావడంతో ఆయన క్రేజ్ మరింత పెరిగిపోయింది.
కెరియర్ తొలినాళ్లలోనే అమ్మాయిలలో విపరీతమైన ఫాలోయింగ్ ను తెచ్చుకున్న హీరోల్లో అబ్బాస్ ఒకరిని చెప్పడంలో ఎలాంటి సందేహం లేదు. అయితే ఆయన తనకి వచ్చిన హిట్లను .. క్రేజ్ ను బట్టి ఆ తరువాత సినిమాలను ప్లాన్ చేసుకోవడంలో ఫెయిల్ అయ్యాడు. హీరోగా సరైన కథలను ఎంచుకోకపోగా సెకండ్ హీరోగా .. లేడీ ఓరియెంటెడ్ సినిమాల్లో సపోర్టింగ్ రోల్స్ చేస్తూ వెళ్లాడు. అలా ఆయన చేసిన ‘రాజహంస’ .. ‘శ్వేతనాగు’ సినిమాలు పరాజయాలను చవిచూశాయి. ఆ తరువాత ఆయన ఎక్కువగా తమిళ .. మలయాళ .. కన్నడ సినిమాలపై దృష్టిపెట్టేసి అటువైపు వెళ్లాడు.
ఆ తరువాత ఆయన పూర్తిగా తన రూట్ ను మార్చేస్తూ న్యూజిలాండ్ వెళ్లాడు. అక్కడ కొంతకాలం పాటు పెట్రోల్ బంక్ లో పనిచేసిన ఆయన ఆ తరువాత బిల్డింగ్ నిర్మాణానికి సంబంధించిన పనులు కూడా చేశాడట. అలా అక్కడ పనిచేసిన అనుభవంతో ప్రస్తుతం అదే ఫీల్డ్ లో కొనసాగుతూ మరో వైపున మోటివేషనల్ స్పీకర్ గా కూడా వర్క్ చేస్తున్నాడు. ఇక అబ్బాస్ ప్రకృతి ప్రేమికుడు .. ఏ మాత్రం తీరిక దొరికినా బైక్ పై సరదాగా ఎక్కడెక్కడికో వెళ్లి వస్తుంటాడు. అయితే వివిధ భాషల్లో 50 సినిమాల వరకు చేసిన ఆయన హఠాత్తుగా సినిమాలను ఎందుకు వదిలేయవలసి వచ్చింది?
ఇతర దేశానికి వెళ్లి అక్కడ అంతగా అవస్థలు ఎందుకు పడవలసి వచ్చింది? అనేది అర్థం కాని ప్రశ్న. ఏదేమైనా అబ్బాస్ వంటి ఒక మంచి ఆర్టిస్ట్ వెండితెరకి దూరం కావడం ఆయన అభిమానులకు అసంతృప్తిని కలిగించే విషయమే
Modi turned Ramanujacharya event into BJP spectacle: Bhatti
HYDERABAD: Expressing strong disapproval, CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Sunday said that the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Hyderabad on Saturday, including the unveiling of the statue of Ramanujacharya, appeared to be another grand BJP spectacle and quite contradictory to the philosophy of the reformer.
Speaking to media persons at the Assembly premises, Bhatti said that the event which took place at the ashram of the Chinna Jeeyar Swami at Muchintal barely reflected the ‘equality’, as diverse sections were not represented at the event organised to celebrate the saint’s 1000th birth anniversary. “Did Modi visit the city as Prime Minister of the nation or as the supreme leader of the BJP ?” he asked.
The CLP leader felt that the entire visit clearly reflected the BJP’s ideology of ‘divide and rule’. “This is nothing but an insult to the very spirit and idea of equality imparted by saint and the platform was used to spread the ideology of RSS. If at all Modi wanted to take the message of the great soul forward, he should stop differentiating between different States, particularly of north and south India,” Bhatti added.
Anand Devarakonda’s next is ‘Gam Gam Ganesha’
Anand Devarakonda, who made his presence felt in Tollywood with films like ‘Dorasani’, ‘Middle Class Melodies’ and ‘Pushpaka Vimanam’, has now announced a new project, which is titled ‘Gam Gam Ganesha’.
The title poster of the film was unveiled by the makers a short while ago and it appears like an action drama. “Action festival begins,” the poster reads.
Uday Shetty will be directing the younger brother of Vijay Deverakonda in Gam Gam Ganesha. Kedar Selagamsetty and Vamsi Karumanchi are be producing the movie under Hylife Entertainments banner. Chaitan Bharadwaj is composing the music. The makers are to finalize the leading lady. More details regarding the cast and crew will be out soon.
Meanwhile, Anand will next be seen in a thriller titled Highway. KV Guhan, the cinematographer-turned-director, is helming the project while Manasa Radhakrishnan is the female lead.
Radhe Shyam themed V-Day party at Chemistry
For the first time in these parts, based on the theme of Prabhas-starrer Radhe Shyam, a grand party will be held at Chemistry pub in Hyderabad to celebrate Valentines Day on February 14.
To start from 8 pm, the party will have the set works used for Radhe Shyam, including palm and stethoscope. Apart from the cast and crew of the movie, other film celebrities are also expected to attend the bash.
According to sources close to the unit, “Since February 14 is Valentines Day and Radhe Shyam is a grand love story, the pub decided to host this first-of-its-kind party. There will be many interesting elements in it.”
Radhe Shyam is slated to hit the screens in multiple languages on March 11, 2022.
Directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, Radhe Shyam featuring Pooja Hegde as the lead lady is produced by Vamsi and Pramod on UV Creations banner.

Ram Charan’s Social Media Team Is Ready
Tollywood heroes are generally careful about their social media accounts. They also spend on maintaining their handles.
Allu Arjun and Mahesh Babu are generally strong on social media. They have a huge following. Their teams also work efficiently on pulling the traction for the respective social media accounts. Though there is no such network, the following is pretty big for Pawan Kalyan and Prabhas as well.
NTR had this kind of setup earlier, but these days he is not much focused on that. There used to be an opposition for music director Thaman on social media earlier. But eventually he too made his arrangements and so many accounts are working in his favor for quite a long time.

Paritala Sriram’s Hunger Strike for Dharmavaram Division!
The Andhra Pradesh government led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had recently come up with a proposal to increase the existing districts in the state. As a result of the proposal, the district counts will go up to 26 and the districts were made under the parameters of the Parliament constituencies.
However, the new proposal did not sit well with many and new demands are coming from people and leaders. Another new proposal came from Andhra Pradesh’s Anantapur district challenging the cancellation of the Revenue Division.
The Dharmavaram Revenue Division was canceled and was incorporated in the proposed Puttaparthi Division. The Paritala family has objected to this and Paritala scion Sriram is gearing up to sit for a Hunger strike opposing the proposal.
Taking to Instagram, Paritala Sriram shared the news saying that he decided to sit for Hunger Strike outside the Dharmavaram MRO Office against the government decision. The protest will go on from morning 10 to evening 5.
Dharmavaram has been the stronghold of the Paritala family. The division was formed around 7 decades back. Besides Paritala Sriram, a few other TDP leaders have also opposed the development and damned the government to change the proposal.
The specialty of Dharmavaram is that the city is well known for silk sarees. The weaving industry is one of the income sources of the town and people from various parts of the country buy sarees there. The Silk in Dharmavaram is so popular that it is dubbed as the Silk city of Andhra Pradesh.
Earlier, Paritala Sriram and the current MLA of Dharmavarama Kethireddy Venkatarami Reddy had a war of words over the issue. While Sriram had opposed the move, the MLA hit back saying those who have a history of damaging MRO offices are now talking about the MRO offices.
In the next elections, Paritala Sriram is likely to contest from the Dharmavaram constituency. Given the stronghold the family enjoys there and the goodwill the family has, Telugu Desam Party fans and Paritala followers are hoping that the young blood will make it to the Assembly from the constituency.

Modi is icon of partiality, says KTR
HYDERABAD: Picking up the thread from where Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao left it, IT and Municipal Administration Minister KT Rama Rao on Sunday continued the anti-Modi rant, describing the Prime Minister as the ‘icon of partiality’ who unveiled the Statue of Equality – Ramanujacharya – on Saturday.
In a tweet, Rama Rao vented out at the Prime Minister for the injustice meted to the State with regard to a number of commitments the Centre had made in the AP State Reorganisation Act and not keeping several other promises made to Telangana.
He said that when Modi inaugurated Ramanujacharya statue, ‘irony’ just died a billion deaths. On Friday, a day ahead of the arrival of the Prime Minister, Rama Rao had in a stinging outburst against the BJP for the step-motherly treatment meted out to Telangana, wished that Ramanujacharya whose statue Modi was to unveil the following day, should visit him in his dreams and make him undo the injustice to India’s youngest State.
Apparently, with an intention to bolster his anti-Modi credentials, Chandrasekhar Rao skipped the Ramanujacharya statue unveiling ceremony as well as the event at ICRISAT. This came close on the heels of his news conference on the day of the Budget when he, unleashing a torrent of invective, excoriated Modi and the Union government for being not only partisan against Telangana but also being anti-people and anti-farmer across the nation.
He even mooted a new Constitution for the nation to devolve more subjects to the State so that an all round development could be brought about in the country.
The Chief Minister’s blistering tirade against Modi is being seen as an indication that he is moving away from the BJP, contrary to the criticism that the TRS supremo and the Prime Minister always appear to have daggers drawn in the open but would help each other out when the crunch comes.
As the General Elections are just two-and-a-half years away, the TRS supremo is trying to rub off the pro-Modi paint off his skin so that he could be more acceptable to the non-Congress and non-BJP forces to cobble up a political formation as a viable alternative.

Pawan Kalyan visits the Statue of Equality
A day after the prime minister, Narendra Modi inaugurated the Statue of Unity at Chinna Jeeyar Swamy Ahram in Munchintal, Hyderabad, JanaSena supremo visited the place.
Pawan Kalyan took part in the special pooja ceremony the other night. He then spoke at length about the sanctity of the Samatha Murthy.
Pawan went on to state that equality is the fundamental right of every citizen in the country. He even spoke about how Dalits were not permitted to enter Hindu temples and why that needs to be changed at the earliest.
On the work front, Pawan Kalyan will next be seen in Bheemla Nayak which is due for release on 25th February or 1 April.
