Jagan Amrapali meet makes Yellow Media go hyperactive
A Reddy politician meeting a Reddy IAS officer in Delhi? This is enough for the Yellow Media to go into a tizzy. The Yellow Media on Tuesday went into a hyperactive mode after it emerged that AP Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy went and met an IAS officer from AP cadre – Amrapali Kata. He called her on and had a discussion with her for some time.
The Yellow Media began weaving stories that Both Jagan and Amrapali are from the Reddy community. The rumors started floating thick and fast claiming that she might join the YSRCP. Some said that she might be brought to the AP and could be given a key posting.
But, it came to light that Amrapali is in the Prime Minister’s Office and Jagan met her to furnish some documents to her in connection with the AP government’s claims relating to sharing of assets and staff as per the AP Reorganization Act.
Amrapali is known for her dashing ways. She is quite popular in all places she worked. In Warangal, where she has worked as the district collector, people even tried to protest her transfer to Delhi. Se is known for her interface with the people.
Radhe Shyam offered Rs 400 Cr for OTT release?
It is known that Prabhas and Pooja Hegde’s upcoming film “Radhe Shyam” is gearing up for a theatrical release on January 14. Began its production in 2018, the film has been in the news for interesting reasons since then and fans have been waiting to watch it on the big screens.
However, rising Covid-19 cases in India made several films to push their release dates. But it seems like Radhe Shyam is not in a mood to postpone its release despite theatres remaining shut or operating at 50% capacity in different parts of the country.
Amid these circumstances, it is now heard that an OTT giant has approached the makers of romantic drama with an offer of Rs 400 crore.
Trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan took to Twitter to share, “#RadheShyam Rs 400 cr is being offered by a leading OTT platform for direct release. #Prabhas (sic).”
However, the makers on Monday said that there is no change in the release plans of Radhe Shyam. Set in the 1970s in Europe, the romantic period drama is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar and is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Vamsi, and Pramod.

Akhanda seals Sankranthi OTT release
Akhanda, which marks the coming together of Nandamuri Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu turned out to be the biggest hit in both their careers. The film went on a rampage at the box office and it is still going strong in the domestic circuit.
Now, the film has geared up for its OTT release and it is set to arrive on its digital streaming partner Disney+ Hotstar this Sankranthi season.
As per the latest updates, Akhanda will be made available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video from the 14th of January 2022, marking the occasion of Makar Sankranthi. The same will be announced by Hotstar in the next few days.
With Akhanda lined up for OTT release next weekend, telugu OTT audience are in fora mass feast as this action drama has all the necessary ingredients to keep the viewers hooked.
The makers had recently requested Hotstar to delay the OTT release prospect by a couple of weeks, after seeing the box office performance of the film. But the OTT giant turned a blind eye to the same and went ahead with the 6-week OTT release model.
