Minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy is in trouble for his men thrashing an Arya Vysya activist for the latter’s alleged remarks against a minister and two MLAs for their uncharitable remarks on the rivals.

A loyalist of Balineni, identified as Subhani, was seen beating Arya Vysya activist Subbarao Gupta mercilessly.

Later, the Minister claimed that he intervened and stopped the beating and even got him to the party office in Tadepalli and made him join the chief minister’s birthday celebrations.

But, by then the damage was already done and the angry Arya Vysya community held protests in some places across the state, besides in Prakasam district.

Though calling Subbarao Gupta to the party office was a damage-repair action, it seems to have not worked for the Minister or the party as well.

The Minister now makes his second move to please the angry Arya Vysya community and announced that he would install a life size bronze statue of former chief minister Konijeti Rosaiah in Prakasam district.

He recalled his association with the giant leader and said he would build a memory for Rosaiah, who also hails from the Arya Vysya community.

The Minister left the decision of identifying suitable location for the life size bronze statue of Rosaiah to the Arvya Vysya community, in a bid to please them from the damage caused to him and the party in the Subbarao Gupta’s episode.

Will the damage be undone by this imitative and will the Arvya Vysyas back the party in Ongole in the 2024 elections?

Does it not require the Minister to apologise for what was done to Subbarao Gupta by his chela, Subhani!?

Trivikram Turns Producer Once Again For PK!

Star writer-director Trivikram Srinivas is currently waiting for superstar Mahesh Babu. After ‘Athadu’ and ‘Khaleja’, they are coming together once again and this much-awaited combination is expected to start working together next year. Mahesh’s ‘Sarkaru Vaari Paata’ is expected to be wrapped within the first few months of 2022 and he will join the sets of Trivikram’s set as per reports.

In the meanwhile, Trivikram helped Pawan Kalyan for adapting ‘Ayyappanum Koshiyum’ into Telugu as ‘Bheemla Nayak’. He provided the dialogues and changed the script for that film in order to suit the nativity of the Telugu audience. News is that Trivikram will be working on another remake for Pawan Kalyan. There were rumors that Pawan will be acting as the lead in the Telugu remake of ‘Vinodhaya Sitham’.

This Tamil film was released directly on a digital platform and Samuthirakani who directed the original and acted as the lead is planning to handle the megaphone in Telugu too. Apparently, Trivikram will be taking care of script changes and penned the dialogues for this film. Apart from this, he is reportedly going to produce this film under his own banner named ‘Fortune Four’. Along with Trivikram, Ram Talluri will also be co-producing the film under ‘SRT Enteratinments’ banner. Reports suggest that this interesting project will take off once Pawan completes his work on Krish’s ‘Hari Hara Veera Mallu’ and Harish Shankar’s project. The official announcement is yet to be made.
As we know, Pawan Kalyan and Trivikram share a very close friendship. They built a rapport while working on ‘Jalsa’ in 2008 and their bond strengthened over the years. Trivikram gave Pawan an industry hit like ‘Attarintiki Daredi’ in 2013 while he delivered a disaster like ‘Agnyathavaasi’ in 2017. Despite the hits and failures, they share a great camaraderie and fans are eager to see them working together again. Currently, Pawan is awaiting the release of ‘Bheemla Nayak’ which will be arriving on 25th February 2022. It was supposed to hit the screens during the Sankranti season but got postponed due to the craze of ‘RRR’. Let us wait and see how the film fares at the box office.

మోస్ట్ అవైటెడ్ ఇండియన్ మూవీ ‘ఆర్.ఆర్.ఆర్’ మరో రెండు వారాల్లో ప్రేక్షకుల ముందుకు రాబోతోంది. యావత్ సినీ ప్రపంచం ఆతృతగా ఎదురు చూస్తున్న ఈ సినిమా కొత్త ఏడాదికి స్వాగతం పలుకుతూ జనవరి 7న గ్రాండ్ గా రిలీజ్ కాబోతోంది. దర్శకధీరుడు రాజమౌళి ప్రతిష్టాత్మకంగా తెరకెక్కించిన ఈ బిగ్గెస్ట్ యాక్షన్ డ్రామాపై అంచనాలు ఏ స్థాయిలో ఉన్నాయో ప్రత్యేకంగా చెప్పాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు.

‘ఆర్.ఆర్.ఆర్’ చిత్రాన్ని పాన్ ఇండియా స్థాయిలో తెలుగు తమిళ మలయాళ కన్నడ హిందీ భాషల్లో విడుదల చేయనున్నారు. దీనికి తగ్గట్లుగానే అన్ని భాషల్లో ఈ సినిమాకు సంబంధించిన ప్రచార కార్యక్రమాలు చేస్తున్నారు. ఇందులో భాగంగా ఇటీవల కనీవినీ ఎరుగని రీతిలో మరే తెలుగు సినిమాకు జరగని విధంగా ముంబైలో ప్రీ రిలీజ్ ఈవెంట్ చేశారు. బాలీవుడ్ స్టార్ సల్మాన్ ఖాన్ – స్టార్ ప్రొడ్యూసర్ కరణ్ జోహార్ వంటి ప్రముఖులను గెస్టులుగా తీసుకొచ్చి RRR టీమ్ నార్త్ ఆడియన్స్ దృష్టిని ఆకర్షించారు.

Gajapathi Raju Protest create tense situation at Ramatheertham

The famous and grand old Hindu temple in Andhra Pradesh’s Ramatheertham in Vizianagram district was in the news for a wrong reason for one more time after Former Minister of State for Civil Aviation of India Ashok Gajapathi Raju and Minister Vellampalli had an intense war of words today.

Going into details, as announced earlier, the foundation stone for the renovation of the Ramatheertham temple was laid today. Andhra Pradesh Endowments Minister Vellmapalli Srinivas, Deputy Chief Minister Pamula Srivalli, and several others were present on the occasion.

However, a tense situation arose at the temple after the Royal Family scion Ashok Gajapathi Raju raised an objection over the absence of his name in the Protocol board. He asked, how come the Temple Trust Chairman was not mentioned in the board. He asked about the same with the ruling party legislators.

Raju Garu even alleged that the Minister did not let him even break the coconut on the occasion. Not happy with the treatment he received from the legislators, Ashok Gajapathi Raju sat for a protest at the site where the foundation stone was laid for the renovation of the temple.

As when the Royal Family scion was protesting at the site, the cops present there tried to convince him and asked him to not create any issue there. This led to a ruckus there.

Ashok Gajapathi Raju sat for a protest expressing his displeasure over the delay in catching the culprits who were behind the attack on the temple. He asked why the government had failed to catch people who are responsible for this.

“It’s ridiculous to lay a foundation stone for the renovation of the temple without catching the culprits. Just to hamper the evidence, the government is delaying the probe’s process. The government doesn’t even know how to respect the trust members,” Ashok Gajapathi Raju said.

The historic Rama temple in Ramatheertham was subjected to attack last year when the idol in the place of worship was vandalised. After the incident took place, the opposition parties and the Hindu groups protested against the government holding it responsible for the incident.

Star director Sukumar’s latest offering ‘Pushpa’ starring Icon Star Allu Arjun in the title role is making all kinds of right noises now. After an initial mixed response from all over, the positive talk is kicking in and the makers are very happy about it. ‘Pushpa – The Rise’ which came out last Friday has hit the bull’s eye and it grossed a total of 203 crores in the first four days.

This is Allu Arjun’s first pan-Indian film and it was released in five different languages. Everyone knows that Bunny has a good grip in South India as he enjoys superstardom in Telugu states, Kerala and Karnataka. He is familiar in Tamil Nadu too and the film is performing well all across the South. The collections in the overseas market are quite encouraging too.

But the real surprise came from the North market. Many wondered about how the Northern film lovers will take it as it is has a local touch to it. The rustic and raw nature of the film may work against the film but it is not the case as it is getting decent collections. Till date, the film minted 20.14 crores in North India and even on the fifth day, it got 4.05 crores. This is huge considering the fact that it is Bunny’s first Hindi release. This action drama is expected to do well in the coming few days too.

It is going to face a huge roadblock in the form of ’83’ which is releasing this weekend. It is a biopic of Kapil Dev and it features a crazy star like Ranveer Singh in the lead. We need to see how the film fares at the box office in the coming days. Centre gave no assurance but is blaming Telangana on rice issue: Niranjan Reddy

HYDERABAD: After a meeting with the Union Minister for Food and Public Distribution Piyush Goyal on the paddy procurement issue in Delhi, which ended in a stalemate, Minister of Agriculture Singireddy Niranjan Reddy said that the latter sought two to three more days time to give clarity on the issue.

A delegation of Telangana Ministers, which left for Delhi on Saturday night, got an appointment with Goyal only on Tuesday. Later speaking to the media, Reddy said: “We will leave Delhi after taking a written assurance from the Centre on rice procurement.” He alleged that the Centre did not give any assurance on rice procurement and instead it is blaming the state.

“The Food Corporation of India (FCI) failed to move rice from the state due to shortage of rakes. Around 10 lakh tonnes of rice has not yet been moved out of the godowns in the state,” he said. But the BJP had a different take on rice procurement in Telangana.

Piyush Goyal said that the state government is yet to deliver 27 lakh tonnes of rice from last Rabi to the FCI. Speaking to reporters, he said: “Out of those 27 lakh tonnes of rice, 14 lakh tonnes were parboiled and 13 lakh tonnes raw rice. The Centre was considerate enough to procure an additional 20 lakh tonnes of last Rabi’s parboiled rice as a special gesture.”

Terming the state government’s claim on slow movement of wagons causing shortage of space, leading to delay in delivery of rice as ‘wild allegations,’ he said the state government did not deliver the agreed quantity of rice to the FCI. Union Minister Kishan Reddy, meanwhile, said that the state government made an agreement with FCI for procurement of 40 lakh tonnes of raw rice for the current Rabi season, which will take place from January till July 31.

Referring to other states which were giving bonus to farmers for Rabi paddy, he questioned why Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who declared that he would procure every grain of paddy, was not taking the responsibility now.

Pawan Kalyan in talks for Republic 2

Sai Dharam Tej and Deva Katta’s Republic turned out to be a dud at the box office. The film didn’t post even decent numbers at the ticket counters. But the film is said to have fared particularly well on OTT as it premiered on ZEE5 very recently.

Now, it is heard that the sequel of Republic is very much on the cards. The interesting thing is that Sai Dharam Tej won’t be playing the male lead in the film, but instead, Pawan Kalyan will be seen in the central role.

Apparently, Pawan Kalyan is impressed with Deva Katta’s work for Republic and he wants to collaborate with the latter for the sequel of Republic.

Deva Katta penned a socially relevant political thriller subject for Republic and he might be doing the same for the sequel as well. If Pawan Kalyan really is onboard for the sequel, we can expect the film to be based on the contemporary political scenario in Andhra Pradesh for obvious reasons.

But we have to wait and see if this project will actually materialize before drawing any conclusions.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata postponed Here the clarity

Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata is in the final leg of the shoot now. The project is nearing the completion of the shoot and the remaining portion will be shot once Mahesh Babu recovers from the surgery he underwent in Dubai recently.

Now, there are rumors that Sarkaru Vaari Paata’s release might get postponed due to the delay in shoot, which is a result of Mahesh’s recent surgery. The fact that other films like Bheemla Nayak and F3 got postponed due to logistical reasons added more weight to the claims that Sarkaru Vaai Paata might get postponed.

But the latest we hear is that Sarkaru Vaari Paata is well and truly on track for summer 2022 release. There is not much portion left to be shot and the same will be wrapped soon after Mahesh recovers from the surgery.

So, there is no viable reason for the postponement of Sarkaru Vaari Paata. The makers have affirmed the same and there will be no further complications in this regard.

Sarkaru Vaari Paata will be arriving in theatres on the 1st of April, as announced by the makers earlier.

Telangana Congress chief Revanth Reddy pitches for sub-categories in SCs

HYDERABAD: PCC chief and MP A Revanth Reddy, on Tuesday, urged the Central government to amend the Constitution to sub-categorise SCs.

Raising the matter under Rule 377 in the Lok Sabha, Revanth said that the reservation policy without special protection to most backward castes within Scheduled Castes was creating new inequalities. He urged the Centre to sub-categorise the SCs and allow States to distribute reservation benefits.

“Madigas, Rellis and Mehtars, are the most backward within SCs in Telugu states. Several panels have suggested that quotas be granted to the most backward within SCs,” he argued.

Samantha is now exploring a new avenue as an actress as she featured in a special item song in Pushpa. Sukumar turned stylish star Allu Arjun into an Icon Star with ‘Pushpa’. The rustic action drama which was released on 17th December got a mixed talk initially but it is slowly turning into positive now. Irrespective of the reviews, the film opened to packed theatres right from the very first day. Fans are ecstatic with the collections of the film and everyone is praising the phenomenal performance of Allu Arjun as Pushparaj. The makers organized a grand success party in Tirupati and celebrated with fans.

Most of the main members of the film including Bunny, Rashmika, Sukumar, Devi Sri Prasad and others were present at the event and everyone thanked the audience for making the film a huge hit. Speaking about the film, Allu Arjun said that he is completely overwhelmed with the success and he gave the entire credit to Sukumar. He told that he is very happy to see all the love showering from all corners of the country and stated that he will be indebted to his fans.

As we know, the film is performing exceptionally well in all the areas and the collections are quite staggering. ‘Pushpa – The Rise’ is set in the backdrop of red sanders smuggling and it is released on a pan-Indian scale. It was dubbed in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Rashmika played the role of Srivalli in this film while Malayalam star hero Fahadh Faasil played the role of Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. Actors like Ajay Ghosh, Sunil, Anasuya and others played negative roles in this high-budget film. Devi Sri Prasad’s songs turned into chartbusters even before the release but his background score drew some criticism. Sukumar proved his directorial capabilities once again with this film though there were complaints about its lengthy runtime.

The team set the platform for ‘Pushpa – The Rule’ and it is expected to hit the screens by the end of 2022. Since there is a lot of time, it is to be seen if the team of ‘Pushpa’ rectifies the mistakes they made in the first part and comes up with a perfect film or not. ‘Pushp – The Rise’ is going to face tough competition in the Telugu market from Natural star Nani’s ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ while Ranveer Singh’s ’83’ is releasing this weekend in North.

రాజమౌళి దర్శకత్వంలో ‘ఆర్ ఆర్ ఆర్’ మూవీ రూపొందింది. డీవీవీ దానయ్య భారీ బడ్జెట్ తో నిర్మించిన ఈ సినిమా విడుదలకి సిద్ధమవుతోంది. సంక్రాంతి కానుకగా ఈ సినిమాను జనవరి 7వ తేదీన ప్రపంచ వ్యాప్తంగా విడుదల చేయనున్నారు. ప్రస్తుతం అందుకు సంబంధించిన సన్నాహాలు జరుగుతున్నాయి. చరిత్రతో ముడిపడిన ఈ కథలో ఎన్టీఆర్ – చరణ్ ప్రధానమైన పాత్రలను పోషించారు. ఇద్దరి అభిమానులు కూడా ఈ సినిమా కోసం వేయికళ్లతో ఎదురుచూస్తున్నారు.

Why is Jagan not present in hearings, asks CBI court

HYDERABAD: AP Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s counsel was questioned by the CBI Chief Judge B Madhusudhan Rao, “Why is Jagan not present at the hearing on Illegal assets case against him?”

To the question posed by the Central Bureau of Investigation court, the counsel for Jagan said they had filed a memo seeking to dispense with the presence of Jagan in the court. The Chief Judge said that as per the bail conditions he should attend every hearing but, he is not appearing on one or other pretext. The counsel said that when the bail was given, the situation was totally different.

At that time, he was only an MLA or MP, but now he is the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He further said that in those days, hearing was taking place once a month or weekly, but now hearing is going on for five days a week.

This court had quashed the petition seeking to dispense with the presence of Jagan, the same was challenged in the High Court. After hearing for a while, the court ordered the petitioner’s counsel to inform the same by filing a memo in this court.

4th heroine locked for Nagarjuna

In a strange development of sorts, the makers of Nagarjuna’s Ghost had to rope in the fourth actress for the female lead role in the film.

Initially, the makers bought Kajal onboard for the film. After shooting a few scenes, Kajal opted out as she reportedly was pregnant with her first child. The makers then roped in Amala Paul, who later walked out for undisclosed reasons.

Recently, the makers locked Mehreen for the female lead but she too parted ways. Now, finally, the makers have roped in Sonal Chauhan for the lady lead in the film.

Sonal will be romancing Nagarjuna in Ghost and she will be joining the shoot very soon. She has signed the dotted line and there will be no further alterations in this regard, as confirmed by sources close to the movie unit.
