Modi rules out possibility of BJP-TDP pact
After Union home minister Amit Shah, none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave complete clarity on the possibility of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s alliance partners in the next elections in Andhra Pradesh.
Modi, who held a breakfast meeting with the MPs of southern states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala at his residence on Thursday morning, asked them to take up extensive campaign of the Central government’s schemes and programmes in their respective states.
According to reports from New Delhi, Modi briefly discussed the strategies to be adopted by the party in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
He told them clearly that the BJP should replace the Congress in Telangana and Telugu Desam Party in Andhra Pradesh as the main opposition parties.
“The Congress is fast losing its ground in Telangana and the TDP has almost disappeared in Andhra Pradesh. So, the BJP should occupy their places and make efforts to come to power in the next elections,” Modi told the MPs of two Telugu states.
Apparently, the Prime Minister indicated that the BJP should grow on its own in these states without looking for any alliances.
By saying that the TDP has lost its hold in Andhra Pradesh, he indirectly ruled out the possibility of the BJP entering into any sort of understanding with the TDP, sources said.
Modi assured the party leaders that the Centre would extend all possible help to the state BJP to grow as independent force at all levels – right from village to the state-level.
A couple of days ago, a 13-member core committee of the BJP held a meeting at the residence of Union minister of state for external affairs and BJP Andhra affairs in-charge V Muralidharan in New Delhi and decided to hold a massive public meeting at Vijayawada on December 28.
The party has decided to go all out against the Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy government in Andhra Pradesh, expose its failures, mishandling of the state finances, alleged anarchy by the ruling YSR Congress party and blatant attacks on the political rivals.
The core committee decided to invite a big national BJP leader – Rajnath Singh, or Nitin Gadkari, or Amit Shah or J P Nadda – for the public meeting, which would galvanise the cadres and bring seriousness to the party’s action plan.
“A sub-committee would be appointed to make arrangements for the public meeting on December 28 and take necessary permission from the authorities,” the party leader said.

Samantha, on the other hand, is only signing bigger projects that include ‘Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal’ in Tamil alongside Vijay Sethupati and Nayanthara, ‘Shaakuntalam’ in Telugu under director Gunasekhar, and ‘Yashoda’ with Varu Sarath Kumar which will be directed by Hari Shankar and Harish Narayanan – the film is reported to be a science fiction thriller that will be releasing on a Pan-India level.
Whereas Naga Chaitanya is currently busy filming for ‘Thank You’ under director Vikram K Kumar, He also has ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ ready for release, where he shares the screen space with Aamir Khan in his maiden Hindi film. He is also busy shooting for ‘Bangarraju’ alongside his father that is supposed to be the sequel to the super hit ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’.

L Ramana’ unique record
Former TDP president for Telangana state and currently TRS MA L Ramana has notched up a unique record of sorts. He is now perhaps the only politician who has become both an MLA, MLC and an MP. There is no leader from Karimnagar to have achieved this feat.
He was a two-time MP. Earlier, he was an MLA from Kaarimnagar and served as a minister in two terms. Now he has been elected as the local body constituency MLC. Thus he has become one of the rarest politicians who became an MLA, MP and an MLC.
Ramana was an MLA from Jagityal. He has a traditional rivalry with Congress leader T Jeevan Reddy. While Jeevan Reddy had won from Jagityal four times, Ramana won twice. In one of the two terms, he also officiated as a minister. Post 2014 and post the bifurcation of AP as Telangana and Andhra, Ramana was made the president of the Telangana unit of the TDP.
However, not much could be achieved during his stint as the TDP chief. But, Ramana remained steadfast with the TDP. Though several big names such as Devender Goud, Revanth Reddy, Talasani and others joined the TRS, he stood by the TDP. But, nowow he has switched over to the ruling TRS and was nominated for the MLC seat.
Interestingly both the traditional rivals of Jagityal are now in the state legislature. Both Ramana and Jeevan Reddy are MLC. This has happened for the first time, sources say.
Another Pre-Release Event For Nani in Hyderabad!
Natural star Nani seems to be hell-bent on scoring a hit this time with ‘Shyam Singha Roy’. His last two films ‘V’ and ‘Tuck Jagadish’ got a negative response from the audience. Both these movies got released on Amazon Prime Video and Nani was visibly unhappy over not releasing those films in theatres. With ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ hitting the screens on 24th December with a good buzz around it, he is planning to promote it aggressively.
The team of ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ organized a royal event in Warangal on 14th December which was a success. Recently, Nani and the makers flew to Chennai and released the Tamil trailer at a media event. Natural star interacted with the Kollywood press too. Now, the team of ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ officially announced that they will be organizing a big pre-release event at Shilpakala Vedika, Hyderabad on 18th December. It is going to start from 6 PM onwards.
Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ is set in two different time periods. While Nani will be seen as social reformer Shyam Singha Roy in the flashback portions, he plays the role of an aspiring filmmaker in current times. Sai Pallavi did the role of a Devadasi in this interesting film while happening girl Krithi Shetty will be seen in a completely modern avatar. ‘Premam’ girl Madonna Sebastian plays the role of a lawyer and actors like Rahul Ravindran, Abhinav Gomatham and others play key roles.
Mickey J Meyer composed the music and we need to see how this film fares at the box office this coming Friday.

అల్లు అర్జున్ – డైరెక్టర్ సుకుమార్ కాంబినేషన్ లో తెరకెక్కిన యాక్షన్ డ్రామా ”పుష్ప: ది రైజ్” సినిమాలో సమంత రూత్ ప్రభు స్పెషల్ సాంగ్ చేసిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. స్టార్ హీరోయిన్ గా వెలుగొందుతున్న సామ్.. తన కెరీర్ లోనే తొలిసారిగా ఐటెమ్ సాంగ్ చేయడం అందరినీ ఆశ్చర్యపరిచింది. అందుకే ఈ పాటకు ఎలాంటి స్పందన వస్తుందో అని ఆతృతగా ఎదురు చూస్తుండగా.. ఆ రోజు రానే వచ్చింది.

YSRCP Rebel MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju who continues to be the thorn in the flesh for the Andhra Pradesh government had landed in the state after a long time. He was in the state to attend a meeting that was held against the proposal of the Andhra Pradesh government.
MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju aka RRR, a strong supporter of Amaravati farmers reached the temple city Tirupati and attended the meeting. He received a warm welcome from the MP. After reaching the meeting point, the Narasapuram MP addressed the farmers.
Addressing the farmers, the MP called out those who are against the Amaravati farmers and said the farmers are fighting for a good cause and appealed to everyone to come out in support of the farmers. Irrespective of the occupation, anyone can support the protesting Amaravati farmers, he said.
He said that Amaravati will be the capital of the state for sure and expressed his confidence that the issues surrounding the Amaravati will be cleared like the clouds and called Amaravati a permanent one unlike the issues around it.
He showered praises on the Amaravati farmers and said no one can match the dedication shown by the farmers. The MP appalled the farmers to stay strong. He recalled how the Amaravati farmers faced issues during the protests.
This B-Town diva comes on board for PSPK’s HHVM
We all know that Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez had been roped in for Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s “Hari Hara Veeramallu”. However, the star diva has opted out of the film due to some unknown reasons.
Now, director Krish has announced that they are bringing another Bollywood actress down to the south to replace Jacqueline Fernandez.
Talking to a Bollywood portal, the director said Nargis Fakhri signed the project and she will be playing a princess in this period drama alongside Pawan Kalyan.
Depicting the life of legendary outlaw Veera Mallu, the film stars Pawan Kalyan in the titular role, alongside Nidhhi Agerwal and Arjun Rampal. The film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi languages.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu is being produced by A. M. Rathnam under his production banner. It has music composed by M. M. Keeravani, and Gnana Shekar VS is the cinematographer.
Bhutan honours PM Modi with the highest civilian award
Bhutan on Friday conferred the country’s highest civilian award — Order of the Druk Gyalpo — on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of its National Day.
Bhutan Prime Minister Lotay Tshering said that he was delighted to hear “His Majesty pronounce Your Excellency Modiji’s Narendra Modi name for the highest civilian decoration, Ngadag Pel gi Khorlo”.
Bhutan highlighted all the unconditional friendship and support PM Modi extended over the years, particularly during the pandemic.
“Much deserving! Congratulations from the people of Bhutan. In all interactions, seen Your Excellency as a great, spiritual human being. Looking forward to celebrating the honour in person,” the PMO of Bhutan said in a statement on Facebook.
PM Narendra Modi took to his Twitter to express his grateful thanks to Bhutan’s King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck.
“Thank you, Lyonchhen @PMBhutan! I am deeply touched by this warm gesture, and express my grateful thanks to His Majesty the King of Bhutan,” Modi tweeted.
PM Modi also said that India will always cherish Bhutan as one of its closest friends, and will support its development journey in every way.
