Meelo Koteeswarulu Mahesh Episode Gets A Release Date
Keeping an end to the waiting of the fans, the makers of Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu (EMK) hosted by Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao aka Jr. NTR announced the release date of the upcoming episode that features Superstar Mahesh Babu as the guest. The special episode is one of the much-awaited episodes for obvious reasons.
The short teaser that started on an entertainment note promises a funny episode that will premiere at 8:30 PM on the coming Sunday, which is the 5th of this month. Needless to say, the episode is going to set the TRP ratings of the Gemini TV soaring up.
In the teaser, we can see the witty side of Mahesh Babu who asks host NTR to start with a one-crore question. Replying to this, NTR says should we go in descending order rather than the ascending order.
Going by the teaser, we can say that Mahesh Babu has reached the one-crore question and even faces it. Fans of both stars are eagerly waiting for the episode to release to see them in a single frame. It’s just a matter of a few days for this to happen. Earlier, another teaser was released by the makers which was well received by the audiences and fans.
Evaru Meelo Koteeswarulu (EMK) show marks the comeback of Jr NTR to the small screen with a small gap. He entered the small screen space with the inaugural season of Telugu Bigg Boss. As a second venture, he joined hands with Gemini TV and once again stepped into the shoes of a host.
Some of the celebrities like SS Rajamouli, Koratala Siva, Mega Power Star Ram Charan, happening actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu have graced the shows as the guests earlier. Superstar Mahesh Babu is the new addition to the celebrity guests list.
On the wrong front, NTR is awaiting the release of his upcoming Pan India film RRR helmed by Rajamouli. The multi starrer also stars Ram Charan. Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn are playing crucial roles in the much-awaited film.
On the other hand, Superstar Mahesh Babu kept himself busy with the upcoming film Sarkaru Vaari Paata. Keerthy Suresh is playing the female lead in the film. Parasuram is directing the film.
AP Floods: Allu Arjun donates generously
Due to the unprecedented rains in Andhra Pradesh, many areas in Rayalaseema region were severely affected. Reports of deaths and missing persons have been flowing in from two major districts – Kadapa and Anantapuram – since November 17.
We already reported that Tollywood’s star actors Megastar Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan and Jr NTR have come forward to help those who have been affected due to floods in the state.
Now, Icon star Allu Arjun has joined the list of actors to make generous donations to Andhra Pradesh CM relief fund. The Stylish Star has contributed Rs 25 lakhs to aid with the rehabilitation efforts.
“My heart goes out to the people of #AndhraPradesh who have been affected by the recent floods. I am making a contribution of Rs 25 lakh towards @AndhraPradeshCM. Relief Fund to aid with the rehabilitation efforts,” Allu Arjun tweeted.
On the movie front, Allu Arjun is currently busy with the shooting of Sukumar’s action entertainer “Pushpa”. The film is set to hit the screens on December 17 in multiple languages.

NITI Aayog V-C promises support to State
VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has urged NITI Aayog Vice-Chairman Rajiv Kumar to extend all possible support for the progress and development of the State. During a meeting with the NITI Aayog team on Wednesday, officials sought assistance to grant special status, industrial concessions and tax exemptions similar to the support that was offered to the backward districts like Koraput, Balangir and Bundelkhand. Further, they explained about various welfare initiatives that are being implemented under Navaratnalu and the development activities taking place in the State.
Officials said the government has established Rythu Bharosa Kendras at village-level to provide farmers a comprehensive solution to all the agricultural needs. Also, the officials informed that works of eight fishing harbours, four fish landing centres, aqua hubs, processing units, and integrated labs were started at an estimated cost of Rs 3,176.61 crore. Officials also explained the reforms brought in the education and health sectors. Rajiv Kumar sought details of the Amma Vodi scheme, categorisation of schools and functioning of Anganwadis.
The Chief Minister explained the objectives of the employment generation programmes like Cheyuta, Aasara that are being implemented for sustainable economic progress. Rajiv Kumar lauded the State government for bringing Disha App. Speaking on the occasion, Rajiv Kumar said the meeting was a part of efforts to foster cooperative federalism through engagement with the States. He congratulated the Chief Minister for the good work done and said that he witnessed it when he was on field visits. “Some of the measures you have taken are innovative and quite unique, being done for the first time in the country, like the digital libraries, Rythu Bharosa Kendras, decentralising the procurement, etc. We would like to replicate this in other states,’’ he said and added that they want to replicate them in other states.
He said the state government’s initiative to deposit Rs 10 lakh to all those orphaned due to COVID-19 is amasing and they would suggest it to other states. “The comprehensive land survey being taken up by the state government will solve many land disputes,’’ Rajiv Kumar said and lauded the state government for being in top in Ease of Doing Business.
He promised help in development of infrastructure in coastal economic zones and export sectors. He said they will extend support for special category status to the state and added that they would try to fill the revenue deficit and help for completion of Polavaram project and suggested conducting a study again on the height of Polavaram project so that changes can be made in R&R package. The Aayog, he said, would also try to sort out contentious issues between states’ “like you have with Telangana”. “We will try and work on that,” he added. In the evening, the NITI team held a meeting with industrialists at Mangalagiri. The team also interacted with Vice-Chancellors of universities, academicians and representatives of civil society organisations.

Jagan urged NITI Aayog to provide adequate assistance to streamline power generation as DISCOMS are facing severe losses. The officials have brought the financial difficulties of the State due to the post-partition consequences to the notice of NITI Aayog team and explained that the loss of Hyderabad had eroded large-scale revenue, while the promises such as special status have not been fulfilled. Steel Plants, Ports
The officials asked to set up the Kadapa steel plant and develop other infrastructure facilities as promised in the bifurcation act. They asked to sanction four iron ore mines in Anantapur for Kadapa steel plant and provide GST reimbursement. They sought financial assistance to ports and also to get revised estimates of the Polavaram project approved. They sought help for Rayalaseema Drought Mitigation Project and 1250 MW power project in Upper Sileru project.

The officials urged Niti Aayog team to get Rs 6,284 crore arrears from Telangana power utilities cleared and sanction Rs 18,969 crore resource gap amount as confirmed by CAG.
Buzz: Harish Shankar on a hunt for locations
We all know that director Harish Shankar and Power Star Pawan Kalyan have teamed up for their second collaboration, which also mark the 28th project of the actor.
A few weeks ago, the makers unveiled the much-awaited title and first look of the film. The action entertainer, which was tentatively titled PSPK28, has been named Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh.
The latest buzz is that the makers of the film are preparing to start the production and the Gabbar Singh director is currently on a hunt for the shooting locations.
Bankrolled by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers, Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh has Devi Sri Prasad composing the music while Ayananka Bose has been roped in as the cinematographer.
Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan is currently busy with the new schedule of Krish’s upcoming periodic drama, Hari Hara Veera Mallu. His upcoming multi-starrer Bheemla Nayak is all set to release on January 12, 2022 on the occasion of Sankranti.
Check malicious propaganda on OTS scheme: CM
VIJAYAWADA: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has directed officials to take strict action against those who are spreading malicious propaganda on the Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku (One-Time Settlement) Scheme.
At a meeting with the CMO officials on Wednesday, he instructed them to clarify beneficiaries’ doubts over the OTS scheme and clearly explain its benefits, including details of their loans, and interest, which are being waived off through registration of documents. The scheme will benefit lakhs of poor people in the State by providing them legal rights on their properties, he said.
This comes a day after a panchayat secretary was placed under suspension for issuing a circular directing village volunteers to withhold the social security pension to beneficiaries, who have not paid Rs 10,000 under the OTS scheme.
Addressing a press conference later in the day, Special Chief Secretary (Housing) Ajay Jain said the government is going to waive close to Rs 10,000 crore of beneficiaries availing the OTS scheme. He said there are about 39 lakh people who constructed houses after getting loans from the housing corporation. Their original documents are with the corporation as they were not able to repay the loans. “As a result, they are not able to sell, mortgage or gift their properties,’’ he said.
In the interest of a large number of beneficiaries, the government has come up with the OTS scheme under which the beneficiaries can clear their outstanding loans by paying a nominal amount and get a registered title deed. After getting the registration document, they can sell, mortgage, gift and lease their properties, he said. Further, there will be no burden on the beneficiaries as the government has waived off registration fee, stamp duty and user charges.
‘People are free to avail OTS scheme’
Apart from this, registration facility has been made available at 15,000 odd village/ward secretariats in the State. Orders have also been issued authorising secretaries of village/ ward secretariats to act as registration officers. Stating that the OTS scheme is not a new one and it was in force from 2000 to 2014, he said only interest on the principal amount was waived during that time and documents of those who did not clear the principal amount remained with the corporation.
“In 2016, the housing corporation board meeting adopted a resolution and sent it to the government to roll out the OTS scheme. Though the resolution was sent four times, it could not be implemented because of the queries raised by the previous government,’’ he said. Asserting that the present government came up with a better scheme, Jain said it is voluntary and beneficiaries are free to take a decision.
“We are not forcing anyone to avail the OTS scheme, which has a lot of benefits,” he averred. Stating that the scheme evoked a good response from people in several districts, he made it clear that there is no link between the OTS scheme and other welfare schemes.
Jagan to tour flood-hit districts from today
Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will tour the flood-hit areas in Kadapa, Chittoor and Nellore districts for two-days from Thursday. He will first visit Mandapalle village in Kadapa district. From there, Jagan will proceed to Pulapattur village and inspect the severely damaged houses and other properties in Cheyyeru deluge. He will also visit relief centres and interact with the flood-affected people. Later, he will go to Chittoor district
It’s only Government who will get benefitted by hiking film tickets prices; says director K. Raghavendra Rao in his issued statement
AP Govt’s new order is a talk of the town for a while now, where the Government says, there should be no extra shows or hiking of film ticket prices is not allowed keeping the common man in mind and exhibitors should screen movies only in the prescribed timings, even for big films. But in reality, it’s not just the filmmakers who’ll face huge losses but also the government says Veteran director and producer K. Raghavendra Rao.
Many raised their concern over the Govt’s order right from actor Nani, Pawan Kalyan, Chiranjeevi, Producer Ram Satyanarayana, and now K. Raghavendra Rao.

The director has taken to his Twitter to convey his thoughts on why the government’s move is not correct. The ‘Annamayya’ director in his statement mentioned, “I have been a director and producer in this industry for nearly 45 years and this is my opinion on the new initiative of the government. We must never forget the facts; the reason I’m in this position today is due to the audiences first then its theater owners, later my producers, and in total all of them. Now, all the above have to suffer severe losses with the above new G.O of the government. A great wonderful and heart-touching story can only be said through movies in theaters with all its technology. The experience of watching movies on big screens is unmatched by that of TV, OTT’s or other platforms.”
“Now with the reduction of film tickets price we cannot make such good movies, additionally all the above-said aspects will have to face huge losses. Also, several families rely on the film industry either directly or indirectly and it is a known fact that the success rate in the film industry is only 10%.. Therefore it is not right for the Govt to say that the new online system will stop looting people. A moviegoer will watch a movie even if the film ticket price is Rs 300/500 and only if the film is good and exciting whereas he will not watch a bad film even if you sell them a film ticket for even Rs: 1/-.. Even if the government manages online ticketing, a few influential biggies may block the tickets online and sell them in black offline through their followers. But if the government allows to hike film tickets prices and have more no. of shows, it’s only the government who’ll get benefit by getting more tax.
