Another big problem from Shankar, this time with Anniyan remake!
Director Shankar who got a big relief from Indian 2 controversy has landed in yet another controversy. This time he faced issues with his upcoming venture, the Hindi remake of his hit Anniyan.
As a big trouble for the remake, producer Aascar Ravichandran, who bankrolled the original version had decided to knock on the doors to stop the film from hitting the floors, reports say.
As per the reports, the producer said that he holds the rights of Anniyan and without him giving a green signal, no one can remake the hit film. He is moving the court against Shankar and Jayantilal Gada, who will produce the remake.
It is also said that a complaint against the issue was placed before the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce (SIFFCC) already and the reaction from the Film Chamber is awaited.
Ravichandran said, he is the author of the film and Shankar was s director of the film and he possesses no right to remake the film.
The Hindi remake of Anniyan with Ranveer Singh as the lead role was announced amid much fanfare. Even before the crew had hit the floors, the film attracted a big controversy.

Telangana releases Rs 500 crore for Dalit Bandhu
HYDERABAD: The State government on Monday released another Rs 500 crore for the implementation of the Dalit Bandhu scheme in Huzurabad Assembly segment. The State government had already released Rs 500 crore recently. The government is expected to release another Rs 1,000 crore within a week’s time for Huzurabad. It may be recalled that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao announced that Rs 2,000 crore would be spent for the Dalit Bandhu pilot project in Huzurabad Assembly segment. Each of the 20,000 SC families in the segment will get Rs 10 lakh to start a business venture of their choice.
Anasuya Pinning Hopes On Mega Films
Small screen beauty, Anasuya garnered a whole lot of appreciation and praise for her performance in Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam. She played a brief yet impactful role in the film and her acting career took a turn for good after the release of the Sukumar directorial. Anasuya is one of the sought-after actresses for author-backed roles in Telugu cinema now. Interestingly enough, all of Anasuya’s forthcoming big ticket films are from the ‘Mega’ compound.

As revealed by Anasuya herself, she is playing one of the pivotal roles in megastar Chiranjeevi’s recently announced project, Godfather. She has signed the dotted line already and she will be joining the sets of the Chiranjeevi starrer very soon. She is said to have bagged a pivotal character in the film. Given the fact that this is the first time she is sharing the screen space with Chiranjeevi for the first time, Anasurya is determined to come up with a good performance and do justice to the trust placed in her by the makers of Godfather.
Anasuya’s career hit top gear with Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam and she wishes to carry forward the good momentum with Pushpa. Then, she would be hoping to take things to the next level with her next film, Godfather, a political thriller starring Chiranjeevi in the lead roles. It remains to be seen if the sensous beauty can enter the elite league of actresses with her forthcoming projects.
As for Godfather, the film is directed by Mohan Raja and it features Chiranjeevi, Satya Dev, Nayanthara, and others in important roles. Thaman is composing the music for the the film.

Union Minister detained for making objectionable comments on CM!
Political leaders targeting and making comments on others and facing reciprocation is not new in politics. However, things escalate quickly, sometimes forcing the leaders to think about their actions.
The same happened with Union Minister Narayan Rane, who was recently incorporated in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s new Union Cabinet. His comments against Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray had led to his arrest.
Going into details, Narayan Rane had addressed the “Jan Ashirwad Yatra” on Monday and came down severely on Uddhav Thackeray for forgetting the year when we got Independence.
During the yatra, the Union Minister found fault with the Chief Minister over forgetting the years of independence. Saying that the Chief Minister asking for years of independence is shameful, the Minister said that he would have given a slap to the Chief Minister if he had been there.
His comments had kickstarted a big controversy with the Shiv Sena leaders lashing out at the Union Minister over his slap remarks.
As a result, three FIRs under the non-bailable offences were filed against him. When he moved the Bombay High Court, the Court refused to entertain the urgent hearing of his petition.
The Union Minister was directed by the High Court to register his petition with the registry under the under category.
With the High Court said no to issuing interim orders stopping any immediate action against him in this regard, the Union Minister is said to have been arrested in connection with the slap remarks.
Shiv Sena and saffron party Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) the former ally parties are targeting each other over the comment row.
Both parties that have been on a fallout with each other since breaking their ties post the General elections in Maharashtra are not leaving any chance to target the other side and the commnet row became one more reason for the parties to fight with.
Narayan Rane is currently holding the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Ministry in Narendra Modi’s revamped Union Cabinet. In the last two decades no seving Union Minister was arrested and it seems like the BJP leader had broken the record.

Sonu Sood responds to news of entering politics!
Actor Sonu Sood went through a big image transformation since the pandemic has hit. He became the real hero by extending his support for the needy. His humanitarian work gave rise to the debate that he might join politics.

Meera Mithun, who made casteist remarks denied bail!
Popular Kollywood Actor-model Meera Mithun who had landed in all sorts of trouble with her alleged remarks against SC and ST members in the film industry has faced a big shock.
The Chennai Magistrate Court had refused to grant a bail to Meera Mithun and her friend Sam Abhishek, who were arrested recently in connection with the objectionable comments row.
It is said that Meera Mithun who moved the Court to seek bail in this regard had reportedly said that she will accept the conditions put by the court to get the bail and cited the reason for her work.She said, she is a part of a few films and her being in the jail would lead to the delay in the shoots.
However, the Court made it clear that she can’t be given bail in the case. The petition filed by her friend Sam Abhishek was also refused by the Court.
Meera Mithun has hit the headlines with her derogatory remarks against a particular community. She alleged that people from certain communities indulge in illegal activities and crimes.
She made these derogatory remarks during a talk show. Adding further, the actress said that the directors from the specific community should be sent from the industry.
Taking a severe objection to her comments, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) leader Vanni Arasu had filed a complaint against her. Other organisations have also filed complaints resulting in the actress facing a bunch of complaints.
Members of the particular communities have also fired at the actor and sought strict action against her for allegedly making derogatory remarks.
As a bid to escape the arrest, the actress and her friend fled to Kerala and hid there. Based on credible information, the Tamil Nadu Police arrested the duo in Kerala.
Upon arresting them, the cops produced them before a court and they were sent to the Puzhal jail. They were arrested on Saturday.
It has been widely reported that Meera Mithun allegedly created a scene when the Tamil Nadu Police arrested her.
