All-important announcement from Acharya unit on Chiranjeevi’s birthday
Megastar Chiranjeevi and ace filmmaker Koratala Siva’s Acharya has been in the making for close to 3 years now. The film’s release was postponed on more than one occasion in the post, owing to the unforeseen circumstances pertaining to the Covid outbreak.
If the latest reports are to go by, the makers of Acharya have locked Dasara release for Acharya. It is heard that Acharya might take RRR’s release date – 13th October as the Rajamouli directorial is likely to be postponed to a later date.
It is speculated that the makers of Acharya will be officially announcing the new release date on 22nd August, which marks Chiranjeevi’s birthday.
Barring two songs, the entire shoot of Acharya has been wrapped up already and the remaining portion will be shot at a brisk pace whenever the final schedule commences. The Koratala Siva directorial features Ram Charan in the other lead role.

Self help groups left in lurch, fumes Uttam Kumar Reddy
HYDERABAD: Former Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president and Nalgonda MP N Uttam Kumar Reddy alleged that the State government has left Women Self-help Groups in the lurch by not paying the dues of over `2,000 crore under the Vaddi Leni Runalu (interest-free loans) Scheme.
On Tuesday, Uttam attended the Mandal Praja Parishad general body meeting of Vemulapally mandal which falls under the Miryalaguda Assembly constituency.
Speaking on the issues of the Anganwadi workers, Uttam demanded that Sanna Biyyam (fine rice) should be supplied to the Anganwadis. Demanding that the State government reopen physical classes for schoolchildren, Uttam said that due to the present online lessons in the government and private schools, students of rural areas were deprived of education.
Shilpa Shetty steps out for the first time after Raj Kundra’s arrest
Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty has mostly been staying indoors after the arrest of her husband, Raj Kundra, who is accused of creating and publishing adult content. Incidentally, the actress has finally stepped out.
Apparently, Shilpa recently returned to the sets of Super Dancer 4, a dance show she has been hosting since 2016. She received a warm welcome from the organizers and participants, which left her emotional.

My Father Wanted Me To Become Ias , I Ended Up In Politics
Telangana IT Minister KTR needs no introduction. Ever since he was made the Minister he has been showing his mark as a good leader and bringing new companies for investments.
There is an interesting story behind KTR’s political journey. Not many of us know the interesting story and what made him foray into politics.
KTR who took part in the orientation session for the Master’s batch of Public Policy (MPP) program said his father wanted him to become an IAS officer.
He also said KCR had also sent him to the prestigious JNU University in New Delhi.
Giving more info on what made him enter politics, KTR said, during his brief stay at JNU, he saw a wall writing that says, you should decide your future politics as the politics decides everything.
“In a democracy when everything is decided by politics, you better decide your future politics,” the writing in the JNU wall says.
TRS Working President KTR said he got inspired by the writing and foraying into politics. My father doesn’t know about my political entry, all he wanted was to see me as an IAS officer, KTR said.
As a reason why he didn’t inform KCR about his political entry is that he knew KCR would refuse this.
KTR had come a long way in his political career. He used to work in the United States. Leaving the job, he landed in Telangana and took part in the separate state agitation vigorously.
He fought his debut elections in 2009 from the Siricilla Assembly constituency and entered the state legislative assembly.
Given the potential he has, KTR was made the IT Minister of Telangana when the state was bifurcated from combined Andhra Pradesh. With his work, he showed everyone that picking him as IT Minister was not a bad choice.
IT Minister KTR who also holds the position of the TRS Working President stays active on social media and addresses the issues that come to his notice.
During the Covid time, he tried to address as many issues as possible. He had arranged bed facilities and oxygen facilities for patients for the Covid patients.
Chiranjeevi’s Vedhalam remake to be announced on his B-day
The makers of the Telugu remake of Vedhalam which will feature megastar Chiranjeevi in the lead role are planning to announce the project officially on the occasion of his birthday – 22nd August.
Also, the makers are planning on dropping another major announcement. Apparently, they plan to announce that Keerthy Suresh is onboard for the project.
The makers had recently roped in Keerthy Suresh to essay Chiranjeevi’s sister character in the Telugu remake of Vedhalam. The makers intend to announce her inclusion in the film’s principal cast on the occasion of Chiranjeevi’s birthday.
Apart from this, there are also rumors claiming that the makers of Chiranjeevi – Bobby project are planning to drop an official announcement on the project on the special day.
It appears to be that Chiranjeevi’s fans are in for an eventful day on 22nd August.

KCR mortgaged Krishna waters to Andhra Pradesh, says BJP
HYDERABAD: Stating that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao had every opportunity to stop the construction of Rayalaseema Lift Irrigation Scheme (RLIS) but he chose otherwise, BJP state vice-president DK Aruna alleged that the former has mortgaged Krishna waters to Andhra Pradesh.
The BJP leader was reacting to the report submitted by Krishna River Management Board (KRMB) to the National Green Tribunal, stating that excess works were taken up at the RLIS, “Telangana should have been drawing 3 tmc water every day from Palamuru Rangareddy project. But only a half tmc of water is being drawn every day. On the other hand, AP has been drawing 8 tmc water against their share of 3 tmc water through Pothireddypadu project,” she said.
“As KCR conspired with the AP CM, the farmers of Krishna catchment area have been suffering a huge loss. Was KCR not aware of the construction of RLIS, especially when the works on RLIS as well as irrigation projects in Telangana were being carried out by the same contracting firm,” she wondered.
Premam director back to work, ropes in two superstars
After scoring a resounding box office blockbuster with Premam(Malayalam) back in 2015, the director of the love drama, Alphonse Puthren took his own sweet time to materialize his next project.
Six years after the release of Premam, Alphonse is finally back to work again and he has roped in two superstars for his next directorial.
Apparently, Alphonse has casted Prithviraj Sukumaran and Nayanthara for the lead roles in his upcoming directorial. This as-yet-untitled film will start rolling from this September. It will be officially announced very soon.
Earlier this year, Alphonse announced a film with Fahadh Faasil and Nayanthara. It is not known if this project has been scrapped or if it will go on floors after Alphonse wraps up Prithviraj – Nayanthara film.
