Nitish Kumar to Return as Bihar CM on November 20

The people of Bihar have delivered a decisive verdict in the recent assembly elections, triggering a major shift in the state’s political leadership. While the BJP remains the single-largest party in the assembly, the JDU is poised to retain the Chief Minister’s position.
Incumbent CM Nitish Kumar, who is also the President of the JDU, has formally submitted his resignation to the Governor—a standard procedural step to dissolve the existing cabinet before forming a new government.
Nitish Kumar will step down today, ahead of a significant cabinet expansion scheduled for November 20. On that day, he is set to be sworn in as Chief Minister for the 10th time, a record in Bihar politics, as confirmed by Bihar BJP president Dilip Jaiswal. Simultaneously, a new cabinet dominated by BJP ministers will be sworn in.
Revanth Reddy Recalls 2009 Meeting With Ramoji Rao

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy once again showcased his trademark charisma and public connect at the Ramoji Excellence Awards held in Hyderabad today. During his address, he entertained the audience with a witty and memorable incident from his early political days—an interaction he had with the late media baron Ramoji Rao during the 2009 united Andhra Pradesh elections.
Recounting the episode, Revanth Reddy said he had met Ramoji Rao ahead of the 2009 election results, hoping that the TDP would form the government and that he might secure a cabinet ministry post.
“Back in 2009, there was a buzz that Chandrababu Garu would give cabinet berths to those recommended by Ramoji Garu. So, I went along with four colleagues from Andhra Pradesh to meet him. Somehow, without us even explaining our purpose, he instantly understood why we came,” Revanth said.
He added that Ramoji Rao gently corrected them, saying he had never recommended anyone for a cabinet position. Instead, Ramoji gave them valuable guidance, advising that politicians often shine brighter as MLAs than as ministers, encouraging them to focus on serving people directly.
The irony, Revanth noted, is that while he once sought Ramoji’s recommendation to become a minister—and was a close follower of Chandrababu Naidu at the time—destiny had different plans. He eventually rose to become the Chief Minister, without ever serving as a cabinet minister first.
Rajinikanth & Balakrishna to Be Honoured at IFFI

Legendary South Indian icons Rajinikanth and Nandamuri Balakrishna, both completing 50 remarkable years in cinema, will be honoured at the closing ceremony of the upcoming International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. The announcement was made by Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Dr. L. Murugan during a media briefing.
He stated that the government will felicitate Rajinikanth and Balakrishna at the festival’s closing event in recognition of their extraordinary contribution to Indian cinema. Their milestone marks five decades of unparalleled influence, iconic performances, massive popularity, and a lasting impact on Indian storytelling.
Rajinikanth, who began his journey with the 1975 film Apoorva Raagangal, has since delivered countless memorable roles and emerged as one of India’s most celebrated actors. Similarly, Balakrishna, with over 100 films to his credit in his 50-year career, continues to be a towering figure in Telugu cinema. He also serves as the MLA of Hindupur and was honoured with the prestigious Padma Bhushan earlier this year.
The 2025 edition of IFFI will be held from November 20 to 27 in Goa, with the closing ceremony scheduled at the Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Stadium. This year, the festival has seen a record 7,500 delegate registrations, and will showcase 270 films from 84 countries, making it one of the most expansive editions yet.
Chiranjeevi & Nagarjuna Applaud Anti-Piracy Action

Tollywood icons Chiranjeevi and Nagarjuna personally met Hyderabad Commissioner VC Sajjanar to applaud the Police Department for its decisive action against movie piracy. Their visit came soon after the arrest of Inmadi Ravi, the operator of the notorious piracy website Ibomma.
Chiranjeevi expressed his satisfaction, praising the Police for “acting smartly to dismantle the network of a dangerous individual,” and highlighted how piracy has long harmed the film industry while normalizing illegal viewing habits.
Nagarjuna extended heartfelt thanks, appreciating the Hyderabad Police for “swiftly catching the culprit.” He noted that their visit represented the collective gratitude of the entire Telugu and Indian cinema fraternity toward Sajjanar and his team.
Both stars underscored the importance of watching films only in theaters as a key measure to fight piracy.
Teja Sajja’s Dual Sequels Strategy

Child artist–turned–hero Teja Sajja has made a massive impact in Indian cinema by delivering back-to-back pan-India blockbusters with Hanu-Man and Mirai. He is now one of the most sought-after young stars in Tollywood, with an impressive lineup of projects in the pipeline. Among them are the sequels to his successful films Zombie Reddy and Mirai, both currently in pre-production.
According to the latest reports, Teja is planning an interesting strategy — shooting both Zombie Reddy 2 and Mirai 2 simultaneously and wrapping them up within 2026. While Zombie Reddy 2 is expected to go on floors in January next year, Mirai 2 is likely to begin in early summer. Teja is said to be shuffling his dates carefully so he can complete both films in parallel without long gaps.
If this turns out to be true, it will be a smart career move. Shooting the sequels back-to-back allows Teja to make the most of his current peak phase and complete two major projects in the time usually spent on just one. Since both films are being bankrolled by People Media Factory, coordinating dates and schedules becomes much smoother for the production house as well.
In Tollywood, actors often take long breaks between projects after scoring blockbusters to ensure the next film meets high expectations. However, Teja Sajja seems to be planning his career differently — prioritising discipline, consistency, and timely execution.
Zombie Reddy 2 will reportedly be directed by a Bollywood filmmaker with Prashanth Varma providing the script and screenplay. Mirai 2 will be helmed by Karthik Ghattamaneni.
Overall, Teja’s focused approach and strategic planning indicate a well-thought-out roadmap as he continues to rise as one of Tollywood’s most promising stars.
