Raghurama Krishnam Raju’s son writes to Central Home Department over MP’s arrest!
Narsapuram YSRCP MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju’s arrest episode is taking several twists. While the MP’s family members alleged that he was arrested without proper notice, the MP alleged that he was mishandled by the cops.Amid this, Rajugaru’s son Kanumuri Bharat has written to Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla in connection with the case and alleged that his father was mishandled and tortured by CID sleuths.
In the letter, Bharat said, the MP himself told his advocates that he was tortured by the CID sleuths and he developed injuries on his legs, feet, and body and he was in a situation to not even walk.Saying that the issue reached the High Court, Bharat said the Court had also found fault with this and become serious over MP being tortured, who was in the CID custody.
Bharat accused the Andhra Pradesh government of making illegal arrests and termed the arrest of his father a violation of the rules. In the letter, he highlighted how his father had moved several courts with petitions seeking protection from illegal cases that are filed against him.
To arrest a Member of Parliament, Speaker’s permission is mandatory. How come the arrest was made without permission. Strict action should be taken against those who have violated the laws and fundamental principles, Bharat demanded.

Burden of GST continues on corona equipment and patients!
The corona epidemic is having a severe impact on billions of families. Many people lost their livelihood due to the corona. The Goods and Services Tax (GST) on corona patients continues to rise. GST of 6 to 18 percent is levied on all medicines and equipment used in the treatment of covid patients. For those admitted to hospitals with corona, the burden of incurring GST in addition to medical treatment can be as high as 15 percent.
Several states have already asked the Center to reduce the GST on corona equipment like masks, gloves, sanitizers, and PPP kits. The Central Government has recently abolished the customs duty on covid testing kits, face masks, surgical masks, ventilators, and respirators imported from abroad.
RRR taken to jail after completing medical tests
YSRCP member and Narasapuram MP Raghu Ramakrishna Raju was arrested by the AP CID a few days ago, at his Hyderabad residence, while he was celebrating his birthday with his family members. Post his arrest, the AP CID revealed that the reasons behind arresting RRR. They said that RRR was arrested for his deliberate and continuous bad mouthing and defaming of the YSRCP government and its members in the public eye.
After the completion of his medical examination at the GGH today, RRR was shifted to the Guntur jail. The medical report of RRR, including the injuries that he sustained, was prepared by the Superintendent of GGH. This report has been submitted to the district court as well, but the contents of the report remain a mystery to the public for now.
The district court’s orders were to get RRR tested at GGH first, and then again at Ramesh hospitals, but the AP CID shifted RRR to Guntur jail directly from GGH. It is to be seen what explanation the AP CID will give the district court on this account tomorrow. On the other hand, the district court has granted remand for RRR till the 28th of this month.
Bollywood director-duo share ideas with Mahesh Babu and Vijay Deverakonda
Bollywood director-duo Raj and DK made an interesting revelation in their latest interaction with media.“We did share a few ideas with Mahesh Babu and Vijay Deverakonda recently. We had good interactions with both of them,” Raj and DK said.
The director-duo said they are eager to direct a straight Telugu film very soon.
It seems to be that Raj and DK are interested in directing Mahesh Babu or Vijay Deverakonda for their maiden straight Telugu film.
Both Mahesh Babu and Vijay Deverakonda are busy with their current commitments and it would be quite a while before they turn available. But the possible collaboration between either of these actors and the director-duo looks highly exciting.

Rumors and buzz doing rounds on social media on crazy projects are not new. This time, King Nagarjuna became the victim of rumors as reports are abuzz that Nagarjuna-Praveen Sattaru film was called off due to creative differences.With the media reports fast-spreading, the makers stepped in to rubbish the reports and said the project is on. The second schedule of the untitled project will hit the floors in the first week of June.
The untitled film hitting the floors will give a required boost to Tollywood as several shootings were halted now given the Covid scare. On top of this, a lockdown is in place in Telangana now.

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja, who is riding high on the success of mass entertainer Krack, has joined hands with director Ramesh Varma for action entertainer Khiladi. Ravi Teja will be seen in a dual role. Satyanarayana Koneru is bankrolling Khiladi.The teaser of the film was dropped recently and received a stunning response from the audience. Needless to say, the teaser has certainly increased the expectations of the action drama.
However, social media is abuzz that Khiladi will opt for OTT release given the Covid scare. Following this, the makers swung into action and made it clear that there is no truth in the reports and Khiladi will have a theatrical release only.
Satyanarayana Koneru said Khiladi will be released in theatres and urged everyone to not believe any false and fake news. Episodes shot in foreign will be the highlight of the film. We would like the audience to enjoy the film on the big screen, he said.
The shooting part of Khiladi is not yet completed. The shooting was forced to be put on hold due to Covid situations. Once the shooting part gets over, the release date will be announced, he added.Meenakshi Chaudhary and Dimple Hayathi are playing the leading ladies in the action entertainer. Khiladi will have cinematography from Sujit Vaasudev and GK Vishnu. Ramesh Varma has written the Story, Screenplay, and Directing the film.
