Exclusive: Highly interesting title in consideration for SSMB28..?
Mahesh Babu is set to collaborate with Trivikram for his next project after Sarkaru Vaari Paata. Tentatively titled SSMB28, this project was officially announced a couple of days ago.
We had already exclusively revealed that Mahesh plays a RAW agent in the family entertainer and now we have another highly exciting update on SSMB28 and it will surely go well with Mahesh’s fans.
Trivikram is considering ‘Pardhu’ as the title of SSMB28. It is said that Mahesh Babu also likes the idea but the final call is yet to be taken.
Needless to say, Pardhu is the name of the character played by Mahesh Babu in Athadu, which was helmed by Trivikram. The film attained cult status and is a roaring hit on the small screens.
Pardhu has a nice ring to it and Trivikram feels this title would bring good buzz to the film.
Pakistan set to procure 30 million doses of coronavirus vaccine
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Monday said it has signed agreements to procure about 30 million doses of the coronavirus vaccine from abroad, as the number of COVID-19 cases continued to rise in the country.
Special Assistant on National Health Services Dr Faisal Sultan, addressing the media, said the vaccination drive was progressing smoothly in Pakistan.
He said 19 million doses will be received by June this year and that “we are not relying on donations (from other countries) but 90 per cent of the vaccine doses are being purchased.”
Sultan said vaccination of people aged above 40 years has started from Monday.
He said 150,000 vaccine doses were being administered daily, and the official target was to raise it to 300,000 doses per day.
He said 70 million people will be vaccinated against COVID-19 by the end of this year.
The senior official also said that Pakistan will soon start production of the Chinese CanSino vaccine.
Dependence on imported doses will reduce as 3 million doses of the CanSino vaccine will be prepared at the National Institute of Health every month, he said.
The announcement was made as Pakistan for the time recorded less 100 deaths per day since April 25 when 70 people died in the last 24 hours, taking the number of COVID-19 deaths to 18,149, according to the Ministry of National Health Services.
At least 4,213 new cases were reported in this period, pushing the national tally of confirmed cases to 834,146 in the country.
The positivity rate was 9.17 per cent.
COVID-19: French high schools reopen, travel ban eased
PARIS: France’s secondary and high schools have reopened and a ban on domestic travel has been lifted as part of the government’s plan to gradually reopen the country.a
The French are now allowed to go further than the 10-kilometre (six-mile) from home limit that has been applied for four weeks in efforts to slow down the spreading of the virus.
A curfew from 7 pm until 6 am is still in place.
Last week, President Emmanuel Macron has presented the key dates of the plan to move out of the country’s partial lockdown, as numbers of infections and hospitalisations have started decreasing.
Restaurants and cafes will be able to serve customers outdoors at tables seating a maximum of six people starting May 19, when the nightly curfew will be pushed back to 9 pm.
Nonessential shops also reopen, as well as cultural sites and sport facilities, which will have occupancy limits of 800 people indoors and 1,000 outdoors.
On June 9, tourists from abroad will be allowed to come to France on the condition they are vaccinated or can show a negative test.
The final stage of the plan will see the end of the nighttime curfew and the lifting of most restrictions on June 30.
France has reported almost 105,000 COVID-19 deaths.
Allu Arjun recovering well & nothing to worry
Stylish star Allu Arjun, who contracted with Covid-19, is recovering well from Covid-19. Bunny took to Twitter to reveal the same.
Taking to the microblogging site, the actor wrote, “Hello everyone! I am doing well with very mild symptoms. Recovering well and nothing to worry. I am still in quarantine. Thank you so much for all the love you have been showing and the prayers you have been sending my way. Gratitude.”
Currently, the shooting of ‘Pushpa’ has been halted indefinitely. The shoot will start again after the Covid-19 situation comes to control.
The film stars Allu Arjun in the titular role with Fahadh Faasil in the antagonist role and Rashmika Mandanna in the leading lady roles while Jagapathi Babu, Prakash Raj, Dhananjay, and Sunil play supporting roles. Pushpa is set to release on August 13, 2021, and will be dubbed in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi languages.

Congress gave a shocking result to BJP in Lingojiguda by-polls
Congress gave a big blow to the BJP in the recent by-elections in Greater Hyderabad. The Congress party candidate defeated the BJP candidate in the by-election in the Lingojiguda division.
The by-election was inevitable due to the untimely death of BJP candidate Aakula Ramesh Reddy. Mandugula Akhil Pawan Gowda won the seat in the recent by-elections on behalf of Congress.
BJP chiefs have requested Minister KTR that TRS candidates should not contest from this division. With this, no one has contested on behalf of TRS. BJP thought that it could win the sitting seat again.
But to contrary, the Congress candidate won in this by-election. With this recent victory, the number of Congress corporates in Baldia has risen to three.
Buzz: Venkatesh in talks for remake of another Malayalam blockbuster
Venkatesh Daggubati is lining up multiple remakes. He had recently wrapped up not one but two remakes namely Naarappa and Drushyam 2. And he is already in talks for the third remake in quick succession.
As said by our sources, Venkatesh is in talks for the Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster Driving License.
Driving License is a satirical drama based on class disparity in the modern day society. The Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj starrer was a big hit in Kerala. It appears to be that the film will soon be remade in Telugu with Venkatesh in the lead role.
The project is still in discussions stage and nothing is consolidated for now. Further developments will determine the possibility of materialisation of the same.

Ready to quit as MLA: Former minister Eatala Rajender
Former Telangana minister Eatala Rajender, who was dropped from the State Cabinet, on Monday said that he is ready to quit the MLA post if Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao thinks he won on TRS party symbol in the past assembly elections.
Before declaring his decision on quitting the post, the MLA from the Huzurabad constituency said that he would meet his voters and take their opinions on Monday evening. He stated that he would not give up his self-respect at any cost and fight for integrity.
Addressing his first press conference after he was removed from the Ministry, Eatala Rajender also asked the CM to order an unbiased inquiry on his properties by a sitting judge, not with the CM guided officials and committees. The veteran leader also said there was a precise plan to damage his image by making land invasion allegations.
Inside Story: Reason why Nithya Menen replaced Sai Pallavi in AK remake..?
A while ago, multiple reports claimed Sai Pallavi will be pairing with Pawan Kalyan in the Telugu remake of Ayyappanum Koshiyum remake. But she opted out of the project in the last minute for undisclosed reason.
When we dug deep, we got to know the real reason why the makers of the Pawan Kalyan and Rana starrer replaced Sai Pallavi with Nithya Menen.
Apparently Sai Pallavi demanded a whopping remuneration of Rs 3 crores to star in the film. The makers felt the young actress is quoting way too much for a brief role and they then decided to replace her with Nithya Menen who agreed to charge much lesser.

Mamata Banerjee expresses suspicion over counting of votes in Nandigram
Trinamool Congress Chief Mamatha Banerjee has made sensational remarks on the counting of votes in Nandigram. Mamatha Banerjee has been in office for the past three terms.
She expressed doubts over the counting of votes in the recent elections. She recalled that EC said there was a problem with the server for around 4 hours.
Didi said that the Governor also congratulated her on knowing that she has won. She revealed that the RO(Returning Officer) was threatened by someone not to allow the recount.
Mamatha Banerjee said that she knew there was a risk of death for RO if the recounting was carried out. Didi said that RO had told someone that he was in mortal danger.
